I recognize the Flashing Lights Kanye song that 2Icee posted a link to. I've heard that in strip clubs. That's nice. I've always thought having a wide variety of music in a strip club is nice and that would include hip hop. Listening to the same music all the time is too much like eating the same food all the time. When I ask my regulars who they like the most they often say "Billie Eilish". That must be my type, the Billie Eilish fangirl stripper.

I was in a strip club once with six other guys and a very obese girl went up on stage. While she was up there, they got up and walked out the door one after another. By the time she left the stage I was the only customer left. I kind of felt sorry for her. I think it would be better for strip club managers to not even hire girls who don't have a chance to make it. They may want to collect a fee from the girl for dancing there, but unattractive girls can actually drive customers out the door and a strip club doesn't want that. They need to have some standards when hiring.

I can't name any songs by Kanye. Do they play him in strip clubs? I may hear him all the time and not even know it. If they do play him in strip clubs and stop because of this controversy I won't even know they stopped.

74 all year round. I feel uncomfortable if it is higher than that. The best widespread adoption in my lifetime of a new invention by far was air conditioning. I was miserable as a child in the sixties during the hot Indiana summers in a house with no air conditioning and hated summer. Now that I'm old I've come to dislike winter instead. The slippery ice-covered streets and sidewalks seem more dangerous since falling becomes a greater fear the older you get.

A number of other central banks have been following the same inflationary policies as the U.S. and are having problems now as they attempt to grapple with the results. Liz Truss in Great Britain just resigned after their attempt to stop inflation led to a pension crisis and proposed unfunded tax cuts led to a drop in the pound.
A barrel of oil right now is 8% lower than it was the day before Putin invaded the Ukraine but up 70% since Biden took office. The big increase in the price of oil was before Russia invaded the Ukraine so it's not Putin's fault. It's the out-of-control spending and money printing by the government along with keeping interest rates at zero for a decade that is the cause.

Government usually tends to go with a "one size fits all approach". They do that to keep new laws from becoming overly complicated from having numerous exceptions added. They want a top down everyone marching together approach instead of just letting people experiment as individuals to see what they like. If they let each club decide whether they wanted to have strippers as employees or independent contractors and let the girls move where they wanted, you would soon see which model worked best.

Thanks for the review. A number of local clubs seldom get reviewed and anyone willing to spend the time to do a review is appreciated, at least by me.
This club has been declining for years. The owner died and his widow had someone run it who didn't know anything about strip clubs. The strippers would tell me he was unfriendly acting. The girls are not your employees. They are your product. To get and keep high quality girls that can attract customers you need to treat them good. He didn't understand that. As recently as three years ago it still had some attractive girls. An especially bad manager was hired in and drove them off.
Finally, the club got sold and the name changed from "Babes" to "Jiggles". Some changes were made but it was too little too late. The club had required a bad reputation. The surrounding neighborhood has also been undergoing a decline. A bad club in a bad neighborhood can't attract anyone.

Indiana is pretty boring. I live in Indianapolis, which used to be referred to as "India-no-place". Someone once described Indianapolis as "a racetrack surrounded by a corn field". In spite of that, I've always liked living here in Indiana. The cost of living is fairly low, and the people are down to earth and unpretentious. I can just relax and be myself here.

They never tell you what you need to know.
A trend I see that has changed is the movement of people back into the cities. There was a big exodus out of the cities starting in the late sixties as big city crime exploded. This lasted until the nineties when various police and court reforms took place and crime started dropping. New York City led the way on this.
Once the cities became safer, people started moving back into them. With recent big increases in crime, this trend has now reversed. People are now moving out of the cities again. The trend to telework, which was accelerated during the Covid epidemic, also makes it easier to live far away from urban workplaces. In Indianapolis I'm seeing the strip clubs become more ghettoish as the middle-class customer base moves away. Less money is being spent in the strip clubs and that then results in a decline in stripper quality. Pretty girls have options and being a stripper is not as desirable of an option as it was previously.

I have a lot of regulars. They want to keep that steady income stream coming in, so they don't try to scam me. I don't try to scam them either. I had a regular who was so drunk one night she walked off without collecting her money after our lap dances. I ran after her and handed it to her. The next time I came in she remembered that and told me a lot of customers wouldn't have done that. In a good regular relationship, both sides tend to be especially nice to each other.

I've had 30-year-old strippers tell me they feel old. Thirty, though, isn't even halfway through what a normal life expectancy is. A girl who retires from stripping at the age of 30 still has plenty of time to start another career. Some of them are even already part way through completing their education when they leave stripping.

People don't pay much attention to Federal Reserve policy since the subject is somewhat esoteric but over the last 35 years Greenspan, Bernanke, Yellen and Powell have probably done as much harm as any politician.
The main goal of the Fed is to do the bidding of Wall Street. It works to push up stock prices. This benefits the wealthiest 10% of the population that owns 90% of stocks but not the average person. During economic crashes it is Wall Street, not Main Street, that gets bailed out.
In addition to this, inflation from Fed policies raises prices so the average person has a tougher time making ends meet. Inflation pushes U.S. wages up, thereby making American workers less competitive with lower cost foreign workers. Over the last 35 years this has led to our industrial base being moved overseas. The American working class, having lost good paying jobs, has turned to despair, drugs and alcohol. They sense something has gone wrong but can't identify the culprit because the same rich who benefit from Fed policies also control much of the media and direct attention away from the Federal Reserve.

I live only ten minutes away from three strip clubs so it's easy to fall into going too much. At one time I was going to strip clubs twice a week. I cut back and when I did I found I enjoyed each individual trip more. When I'm tempted to go too often, I just think about how much more I'll enjoy it if I put it off a little longer and then go.

The best time for me is between nine and ten at night, right after the girls have started to arrive but the club isn't filled with customers yet. This works any day of the week. Saturday night I went to a strip club at nine and saw an extremely pretty stripper just sitting at a table looking at her phone. I walked over and asked her if she would do a couple lap dances and she got a big smile on her face and agreed to it. I know some customers don't like strippers staring at their phones but I don't mind as long as they are friendly when I approach them. They don't have to approach me. I just want them to be where I can approach them.

There are really no good alternatives at this point. If we raise interest rates and cut government spending, it will lead us into a severe recession. If we don't do that, we will have increasingly high inflation. Both parties brought us to this point. Trump wasn't quite as bad as Biden but he did increase the national debt by six trillion dollars in four years, made no reductions in government spending and supported the low interest rates to keep the stock market bubble going. The real fault lies with the average American voter. Things will have to get really bad and we will have to hit bottom before we come to our senses. Coming to our senses will involve having the government spend what we can afford, which will be much less than what we are spending now.

Gary, Indiana sounds bad. I had a stripper in a strip club tell me she moved here to Indianapolis to get away from the high crime in her city. We have high crime here and I couldn't imagine what moving here would be an improvement over, so I asked her where she moved from. Her response was Gary.

I sometimes try to think of compliments I can give my regulars. I've had a few I would have liked to have as a girlfriend if I were 40 years younger but have never tried to use that as a compliment on them because of them possibly not taking it as a compliment. What happened to you kind of indirectly confirms that. A lot of my regulars wouldn't just snub me as a potential boyfriend because I'm forty years older than them. I think even if I was exactly the same age as them, they would still snub me as a potential boyfriend. Women didn't really start to show interest in me until they reached their late twenties and started to look more for the steady dependable guy who would make a good husband. Most strippers haven't reached that stage yet.

Organic food. A lot of people think it is dumb to spend more money to buy something like the organic blueberries instead of the regular blueberries.
Books. I have five hundred books and that is always the first thing people comment on when they visit my apartment for the first time.
Lap dances. My best friend is a rich guy who owns an expensive new car, a large art collection and travels all the time. He thinks even $25 is too much for a lap dance and almost never buys one. I'm the exact opposite. I own a twenty-year old car, don't own a single painting and have only been outside Indiana three times in the last thirty years. I've spent large sums of money on lap dances and think it was highly worth it.

This type of interracial tension occurs more at the political level than the personal level. Yesterday I got a haircut from an Asian barber, visited a Hispanic dentist and stopped at a grocery store where a black guy bagged my groceries. These types of relationships don't create problems.
Politics, though, is a zero-sum game. Politicians don't have any money of their own, so they have to take money from one person and give it to another. People then form into special interest groups to get their share. These special interest groups can be based on race, class, profession, gender or numerous other categories. People stop seeing themselves as individuals and others as individuals they can form mutually beneficial relationships with and see themselves and others as members of groups. This type of thing you saw in Los Angeles is primarily people just fighting over who gets to use the government to exploit others and the anger and hostility involved in that coming out.

Inflation is primarily being caused by the 40% increase in the money supply between 2020 and 2022 to pay for the Democrats overspending. There were three giant stimulus bills totaling 6 trillion dollars and 5 trillion dollars was printed up to help pay for it. Blaming Putin, Covid, supply chain interruptions, computer chip shortages (yes, I actually heard that), or greedy corporations is an attempt to deflect the blame from where it belongs. To stop inflation, you need to stop the money printing and to stop the money printing you need to stop the overspending. Americans love the idea of the government giving them stuff and don't want the overspending to stop. Therefore, they like pretending to themselves the overspending isn't eventually leading to high inflation.

In one of our local strip clubs in Indianapolis, PT's, they tried to have male strippers in half the club and female strippers in the other half. Almost all the customers, mostly male, ended up sitting in the half with female strippers so they dropped the idea of a split club. There is still a semi-partition between the two areas and half the club is empty most of the time except on a busy Saturday night when you get some customer overflow when seating is short.

I watched a documentary on the movie Clockwork Orange. In one part of it the movie was shown to a group of college students and then they discussed it. The professor asked them if the movie could be made and released today, and a majority of the students said it couldn't. American Psycho might fall into that category too.

When someone in their twenties is trying to decide between strip clubs and dating, their financial situation is important. I went to a strip club one time in my twenties and the females there didn't look any better than someone I could date. Beside sex, I also just enjoyed the company of women. I could spend hours with a girlfriend. Paying a stripper for hours of her time would have been more expensive and I didn't have much money. It was different in my fifties. Strippers looked much better than anyone I could date at that age, and I had a lot of money coming in from my job. That was when I started my strip club hobby.

I've found it's always nice to do two or three favorite things in a row. Saturday, I took a pleasant walk on a sunny day at a nearby state park. Then I ate dinner at my favorite Italian restaurant. After that, I went to the best strip club here in Indianapolis, Brad's Brass Flamingo, where I ended up doing lap dances with a pretty blonde.
