“Classic & “Semi-Classic” Movies I’ve Never Watched
Most of the classics I haven't seen are by foreign directors like Bergman, Fellini and Kurosawa. I recently watched Kurosawa's "Hidden Fortress". It was quite good. It influenced Lucas when he was doing "Star Wars".

The California transplants I run into here in Indiana don't seem liberal. They seem to be mostly middle-class whites who left because of the high taxes and high cost of living in California. Indiana has a much lower cost of living. I have a millionaire uncle living in California. I always imagined him living in a giant mansion. My sister recently showed me a photo of his house and it was much smaller than I imagined. Even a normal sized house there is very expensive.

How Much of Yourself do You Take to the Club?
I don't think that there actually is a true self. We are different people in different situations. I'm a different person at work, hanging out with male friends, visiting my mother, going to a strip club etc. The commonality seems to be I'm always told I'm never any trouble and am well behaved. My parents told me that, my boss at work tells me that and girls in strip clubs tell me that. The only exception is sometimes I make politically incorrect statements. One way I act different with strippers, and women in general, is I'm less serious. When I was married, my wife told me she didn't worry about me cheating on her because when I like women I just joke around with them instead of making passes at them. The one change in my personality that is unique to strip clubs is that I compliment strippers about their physical appearance and the way they are dressed. I know they put a lot of work into that and I try to show I appreciate it.

Martin Scorsese: Favorite Movie
My favorite is Taxi Driver. It's an accurate portrayal of New York in the seventies. It's not completely accurate, though. The script had a pimp character who, like most pimps in New York at the time, was black. Scorsese changed the pimp from black to white.

Getting in touch with a stripper
Three of my local strip clubs put up a nightly roll call on Twitter of which dancers are there. I've used it to see if dancers I like are there and also to see if dancers I don't like are there. I would be ok with the idea that dancers and management negotiate on what types of protection against stalkers are in place. The dancers should always feel safe. I feel another reason strip clubs don't encourage phone calls asking if a girl is there is that they aren't completely happy with the idea that a dancer has a collection of regulars. This means she could move to another club and take her regulars with her. The club management wants customers to think in terms of visiting their club and picking a girl there rather than becoming attached to the idea of seeing a specific girl and following her if she switches clubs.

Lines that shouldn't be crossed
Sometimes there will only be one girl at the strip club I want to do lap dances with. If, for some reason or another, she decides she is not interested in that I will never get angry at her. I just leave and head on home. There will always be another night, another strip club, and another girl.

What makes you write a review?
Other people are nice enough to spend time writing the reviews I read so I feel like I should return the favor and write some reviews too. Reviews should include useful information like prices and lap dance mileage, but I like reading people's stories recounting their experience at the club they are reviewing so I try to do the same in my reviews.

So are things actually slow at your clubs?
Indianapolis clubs have lost about a fourth of their customers over the last three years and the girls are struggling to make money. Many girls were making just enough to get by and even a 25% drop in income will force many of them to look for other jobs. This is due to three factors. The high inflation rate has left guys with less extra money to spend. The increased urban crime rate since the summer of Floyd has caused more of big city strip clubs middle-class customer base to move away. Covid caused a change in customer lifestyles. For example, I used to stop at strip clubs on the way home from work but switched to teleworking during the lockdowns and no longer do what I did before.

Yes You Too Can Start Even Paying More For Everything!!!
We have had an inflation problem since the eighties but people didn't realize it because it wasn't universal. Stock and property prices went up. The prices for tradable goods didn't go up because as they started to go up consumers substituted lower priced foreign goods for higher priced domestic goods. This worsened our annual trade deficit, which increased during this period. Consumers couldn't substitute lower priced goods in the case of non-tradable goods like personal services such as medical care and higher education and you saw big price increases in those areas. Wages and cost of goods have risen in places like China so U.S. consumers can no longer as easily substitute lower priced foreign goods for higher priced domestic ones. The era of low inflation is over. Inflation was made much worse over the last few years because of government money printing but that has been going on to a certain extent for decades both when the Republicans and Democrats were in power. There is always a temptation for politicians to print money instead of raising taxes or cutting spending. It is easier to blame someone else for high inflation. Politicians always like to blame someone else for the problems they create.

What are some of the randomest things either you or someone else has tipped for?
One time when I was in a coffee shop on election day, I left five dollars in the tip jar because the girl working there was wearing a shirt that said, "my cat for president".

Did Alito Take a Shot at Elizabeth Warren in Court?
The "wise Latina" Sotomayor recently mistook de jure (legal) segregation for de facto (in fact) segregation. Alito called her out on it and she doubled down! It's an elementary mistake no competent 1st year law student would make.

Midterm Election
DeSantis was good during the Covid epidemic. Kristi Noem, the governor of South Dakota, was good too. She is the governor I would most like to get a lap dance from. Another politician I'd like to get a lap dance from is Tulsi Gabbard. I hate to say it but AOC is cute and I'd buy a lap dance from her. Only a strip club fan like me would look at female politicians and think about whether I would do a lap dance with them.

Midterm Election
I haven't been following local Indiana politics. I live in a Congressional district that takes in the northern suburbs of Indianapolis where the Republican always wins. I like my representative, Victoria Spartz. Her only drawback is she is a Ukrainian American and spends just a little too much time working to get more aid for the Ukrainian government in its war with Russia. There are lots of other important issues we need to be focusing on too. The Republican controlled Indiana state legislature recently banned abortion and that was controversial. The majority of people here avoid one extreme or the other and want restrictions but not a complete ban. I believe in decentralization and am happy the voters in each state get to decide now.

Veteran dancers vs noob dancers, extras dancers vs non extras dancers
I've never seen any correlation with non-extras dancers being more likely to scam. I have seen a correlation between being more likely to scam and length of career. The girls I've known with a long successful stripper career are fairly honest and give good service to the customers. If girls try to scam that may work in the short run but in the long run the girls who don't try to scam end up doing better.

"I'm Russian"
I've done lap dances here in Indianapolis with three different girls who said they were Russian. Two of the three were adopted and brought here as babies. The most recent one, named Tatiana, was quite attractive. She looked exotic so I asked her where she was from which is how I found out she was Russian. I did lap dances last week with a girl who told me she had just come back from Norway. I asked why she visited there and she told me her parents came from there. She said most people there speak English and when her parents came here they didn't even need to learn the language. I asked her if Norwegians all had red hair and freckles like her and she smiled and said no.

Great Balls of Fire
I've never heard anything by Jerry Lee Lewis or any other fifties song in a strip club. I almost never hear a sixties one either. I was surprised one time when James Brown started playing. The biggest sixties band was the Beatles and I've only heard them three times in a strip club. It's not really until you get to the seventies that you start hearing earlier music. Aerosmith and Led Zeppelin are the seventies groups I hear most frequently in strip clubs. I've run into several strippers who like Stevie Nicks and know about Fleetwood Mac.

Favorite session gone Awry
This may not be a one-time thing. I've found with my regulars that a sudden personal hygiene problem is a sign they have started caring less about their job. This may be due to a drug or alcohol problem, getting burnt out from the job, having problems making money and giving up trying or various other unknown reasons. When I notice sudden personal hygiene issues they will often continue. The girl will many times soon quit after that. I will usually just stop visiting a girl in situations where this problem develops. I don't try to get into fixing whatever problems they have and that includes a personal hygiene problem. One time I told a regular with this issue I didn't want to do lap dances that night. She walked to the other side of the room, turned around, and made a face at me like we were in elementary school. She quit soon after that. This girl you are dealing with sounds like she is struggling. Her trying to manipulate you by telling you she can't pay her rent and getting you to feel sorry for her is a sign of that. A successful stripper doesn't try to push regulars into doing something they may not want to do. They know it will eventually drive them off.

Substitute white for Jewish in anything Ye said and he would be praised as a he
The Democrats have a problem in that Jewish people are a major donor group for them and blacks are a major voter group for them, but these two groups have a history of sometimes not getting along. In order to keep their pollical coalition together, they need to discourage animosity between the two groups and this attempt to punish Kanye is related to that. It is true that if Kanye had attacked white people, many of whom aren't part of the Democrat coalition, he could have gotten away with it. The Democrats also have problems with Hispanics and Asians not always getting along with blacks or liking the high black crime rate. There has been some recent movement of Hispanics into the Republican party because of this. If all the Republicans suddenly disappeared, it wouldn't lead to societal peace because the different factions of the Democrat party would start fighting with each other, as seen recently with the Los Angeles city council. The only way for societal peace to occur is if everyone started seeing others as individuals and fellow human beings rather than as members of opposing groups and the government stopped transferring wealth from one group to another group.

Luxury Goods are Starting to Nosedive (According to this Article)
My father lived through the Great Depression. He told me one time that during that period people who had jobs providing necessities mostly stayed employed. It was people providing luxury goods who were most likely to lose their jobs. Since we are heading into a serious recession, people should consider thinking in terms of what goods or service they can provide that people really need and make preparations to move in that direction if needed. This has obvious implications for strippers in strip clubs. When guys cut back on spending, they'll cut back on strip club trips before rent, groceries, medical care etc. Girls barely making it now as a stripper should be looking at and preparing for other jobs since economic conditions are likely to continue to deteriorate.

Dr. Oz vs Uncle Fester
Older people with health issues that interfere with their mental functioning need to be gently moved aside in order to let younger people or same age people in better health replace them. Even worse than Fetterman is our current president. He just called Kamala Harris "a great president". If this were just an isolated incident, it could be overlooked but this type of thing is a regular occurrence.

When you see them slowly go off the rails
Something like this eventually happens to a lot of strippers. Even if the economy is good, everyone gets older and their looks slowly fade and then their money drops. Someone future oriented makes plans ahead of time but many young people haven't experienced enough of life yet to know they need to do that. I went through a rough period in my twenties. The lessons you learn in your twenties are valuable later in life.

Software behind out of control rent increases
Price increases are occurring across the board. It is doubtful that businesses were ungreedy up until the last couple of years and then suddenly they all turned greedy at the same time and started charging higher prices. The government increased the money supply by 40% between 2020 and 2022. It printed up money, 5 trillion dollars total, and used it to help pay for three giant stimulus bills totaling 6 trillion dollars. Voters always like it if they think they are getting free money. The government also held interest rates near zero for a decade. Voters also like to be able to borrow money at low interest rates. It was these actions that led to inflation. Printing up money and passing it out never makes people richer. If it did, the government could just print up a million dollars for each person in the country and pass it out and make us all rich. All the money we got from the money printing we will now lose from the higher prices caused by inflation caused by that money printing.

Dancer Pet Peeves
I have a dancer pet peeve I only run into about once a year. I ran into it last Saturday night. I had two strippers want to do a double dance with me. I always feel like that is twice as much money but not twice as much fun. Doing a lap dance with just one girl is what I prefer. Usually when I get the two girl offer one is much cuter than the other. If I ask if I can just do a dance with the one I want then the other one I rejected sulks and then I feel bad.
