You can unfriend me, unfollow me, and unlike me; but you cannot unlick my butthole
Does this happen to anybody else?
Finding a stripper who is pretty, friendly and does a good lap dance can be hard to find. There will be times you can't find one. You can see right off if they are attractive but often end up having an unpleasant surprise back in the lap dance area when they turn out to be unfriendly and provide a mediocre lap dance. The really pretty ones often have a tendency to be lacking in other areas. They can survive in the competitive atmosphere of the clubs with just their looks. They don't have many regulars or much repeat business but anyone having a first exposure to them is often dazzled by their looks and will buy lap dances just based on that.

Gen Z- America's future is fucked
In the sixties and seventies schools adopted something called "New Math" that replaced traditional math. It was confusing because it was too abstract and replaced basic lower-level math with higher-level math that students weren't ready for. After much criticism, including a book called "Why Johnny Can't Add", it was dropped. Late Boomers, like myself, who had to suffer through "New Math" tend to be the worst at doing regular basic math computations. The same thing happened with the look-say or whole word method replacing phonics in reading. This also received a lot of criticism, including a book called "Why Johnny Can't Read". This involves learning each word like an Egyptian hieroglyphic or Chinese ideogram rather than sounding out the vowels and consonants. I was unable to learn to read using the look-say method and my first-grade teacher wanted to hold me back a year. My mother thought that would attach a stigma to me that would follow me all through school and was against it. My first-grade teacher couldn't say my mother didn't know anything about education because my mom taught first-grade too. I was then advanced into the second grade. My mother taught me phonics and gave me interesting books to read instead of the boring Dick-Jane-Spot school readers, and I quickly learned to read with her help. She also worked with me on basic math skills. The traditional methods of education really were the best and I was lucky I had a traditional minded teacher as a mother.

Dancer giving out her number
The one time a stripper having my phone number was really useful was when I had a favorite regular who was fired from one of the local strip clubs. She moved to a club on the other side of town and called to tell me where she was. It would have taken me a while to find her on my own.

Stripperweb is Dead
A lot of the advice passed out there seemed like bad advice. It reminded me of the advice passed out on PUA forums. Pickup artist types had all sorts of elaborate theories on how to psychologically manipulate females. In real life, though, girls just gravitate to guys who are handsome and friendly. On stripperweb they had all sorts of theories on how to get guys to spend money like "play hard to get" but whenever I visit a strip club most of the guys I see there just gravitate to girls who are pretty and friendly. Most of the PUA websites died out because guys tried their advice and it didn't work and stripperweb died out because the advice passed out there didn't work.

OPEC flips off demented Joe and sides with Putin
The Biden administration has been alienating other countries and now they are coming together to form an anti-American coalition. They are even alienating our staunch European ally Germany. Many Germans think the U.S. or one of its proxies sabotaged the Nord Stream pipeline to force the Germans into buying their energy supplies from the U.S. and preventing them from buying them from Russia. Many German businesses are facing energy costs three or four times normal this winter and the added costs will drive many of them out of business. The Biden administration is rapidly depleting the Strategic Petroleum Reserve by taking oil out of it and putting it on the market to temporarily lower gas costs in an attempt to sway votes in the upcoming election. The OPEC action interferes with that. The SPR will be completely empty next year and Americans will have an unpleasant surprise with where gas prices will go after that.

Heinlein is my favorite science fiction writer. I read a lot of science fiction around 40 years ago but not much since then. I recently looked in the science fiction section at a Barnes & Noble because I was curious which science fiction writers I read a long time ago were still findable in a bookstore. I found Heinlein, Asimov, Bradbury, Clarke, Dick, Wells and Verne.

Dogs
Strippers being attracted to pit bulls falls in the same category as strippers being attracted to bad boy criminal types or strippers being into drugs. It's an attraction to the excitement of being around something possibly dangerous. People often misjudge how dangerous their dog is. A dog can be quite friendly to an owner but hostile to strangers. That's why there are leash rules in public parks. You don't want each individual dog owner deciding on their own if their dog is dangerous because some of them will have bad judgement. I was badly injured in a dog attack one time on a public sidewalk after a dog owner left home and didn't bother to close the gate door to a fenced in area where the dog was.

Why won't dancers dance to these songs?
Depressing songs don't usually go over well in a strip club. I heard "Eleanor Rigby" by the Beatles in a strip club one time, and it was completely out of place.

Don’t get married
My marriage didn't work out but I was glad I got married because if I hadn't I would have always wondered what being married was like. Living with someone is just too much togetherness for me. The ideal situation for me would be to have a female I go see when I want to and be able to leave when I want to. The closest thing to that I've found is strip clubs.

The movie about her was a good movie and Sissy Spacek did a good job playing Loretta. I recently saw Sissy in an old movie called "Badlands" and she was good in that too.

Scared Straight: Strip Club Edition
I've stayed away from going to strip clubs for a month but instead of it being a lap dance situation with a girl it was a situation where I was subjected to high pressure sales tactics from a girl. I know they need to be a little aggressive but there is such a thing as too aggressive. She sat down by me uninvited, then demanded to know why I wouldn't do a lap dance with her after I politely declined one. After I explained I have a certain type I like she said I should try another type because I might be missing something. I told her I've been going to strip clubs for 12 years and have already tried every type and I wasn't going to argue with her. She then wanted me to buy her a drink and I declined. Then she wanted me to give her a tip for sitting with me, even though I hadn't asked her to. I gave her a couple dollars and stayed away from strip clubs for a month. You would think this was an outlier but it is not uncommon in my local clubs and in this case she was the third girl in a row I had a bad experience with and it kept me away from strip clubs for a month. She wasn't there when I did go back. They usually aren't.

OT: Your opinion on the economy
I think C. The stock market just had the worst September since 2008. That was the beginning of a financial crisis and we are headed into an even worse one. Great Britain just caved on its fight against inflation and when things get really bad here Powell may do the same. People think we can't have hyperinflation like a third world banana republic but it happened in Germany, an advanced European country, in the nineteen twenties. It could possibly happen here.

Dancers - How to PISS OFF your regular!
Strippers always have to decide whether they should focus on the faithful regular or the one-time visitor who wants to spend a whole bunch of money on them. I don't get angry if a regular ignores me, but I may modify my behavior and visit her less often in the future or maybe not even visit her at all again. There's lots of things to do in life and not enough time to do them all so I'm not going to spend time getting all angry because a stripper didn't do what I wanted.

Stage tip that's noticed
I'll just tip them three or four dollars and ask them if they'll do a couple lap dances with me if they have time. Even the most in demand strippers will have slow times and may come over to my table. If they are busy, I pick another girl or, if I don't see anyone I like, I just leave. I have a lot of regulars and often they will head in my direction as soon as I walk in. I don't do any stage tipping at all in that situation.

2icee. I think all the strippers have to eventually put out for undesirable tricks if they stay in the profession too long and have gotten old and undesirable themselves. That's one reason so many are gone by the age of thirty. They dread being the old over the hill stripper at the club who has to be friendly to the least desirable customers to make money. I think what I'm trying to say is that you shouldn't make fun of people at the bottom when you are at the top because no one stays at the top forever. So many young strippers seem to be unaware that their beauty is transitory and fleeting and will soon be gone. It's only when you get old that you realize how temporary everything is. We all turn into ugly old people. With age comes wisdom, though, so being old is not all bad.

There are certainly strippers who look down on or make fun of the other girls who can't get the high spending customers. No one stays young forever, though. Eventually these same girls get older, and their looks decline. I've known strippers in the strip clubs who ignored the low spenders when they were young and in high demand and then six or seven years later most of customers, including these same low spenders, ignore them after their looks decline. Then the younger prettier girls are laughing at them. I usually have sympathy for someone getting made fun of but not if they have a past history of making fun of others themselves.

Anywhere there are Titties.
It's the End of the Month / Maybe I should shut my phone off.
Whenever a stripper seems overly eager to do something with me that is usually a situation in which she will get more out of it than I will. That makes me more cautious and causes me to think about whether I should do it. If these girls are getting too aggressive you might be paying them just a little too much or treating them just a little too nice. If you don't want to turn them down, then shutting your phone off will send them the message you are not interested.

Congratulations to the people of Donbas and Novorossiya on their vote to rejoin
@mike710. That's a good guess that I've worked inside the war machine. I've worked for the U.S. Army for forty years. I've worked with and talked to soldiers who told me when they were in the Middle East the natives hated them and wanted them to leave. They didn't see us as liberators. When we left Afghanistan, I wasn't surprised at all that our puppet government was quickly overthrown by the natives. I'm very aware that the official U.S. propaganda put out to Americans by our government is not accurate and not to be trusted. Because of that, I don't trust what they say about the Ukraine or Russia. As for California or Texas joining Mexico, I would be fine with them taking a vote in those states to see if they want to join Mexico. I would be against the government in Washington D.C. trying to stop that. I am also against the Ukraine government trying to stop the Russian speaking parts of the country from leaving if they want. I don't believe in the use of force to keep people from doing what they want to do. I believe in voluntary relationships between people that are mutually beneficial to those involved. Americans are just not realistic about our financial situation. With the Boomers retiring, it's estimated by 2032 that the cost of Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, military and civilian pensions will be 100% of tax revenues. By then, our national debt will be forty trillion dollars. We can't keep interest rates low because it is inflationary so, assuming a normal 5% interest rate, that will be two trillion dollars a year just for interest payments on the debt. We just can't keep spending 800 billion dollars a year on a military so we can pursue an interventionist foreign policy. We need to accept reality. To be honest, I think Americans are too childish and immature to accept reality. They always vote for the politicians who want to spend more on everything, including a huge military, and it will eventually drive the country into an economic collapse.

In A Complex World..
I have trouble with new technology but that is mostly a case of "you can't teach an old dog new tricks". I keep up with it at work as part of my job but not at home. I don't have cable tv and just watch movies sent to me in the mail by Netflix. I finally got rid of my house phone about twelve years back and switched to a cell phone. If my car breaks down, I know I won't be able to find a phone booth to call someone and therefore need a cell phone. I never bothered to learn how to text on my phone. When strippers want to text me, I tell them that and they look surprised. Young people seem to always be staring at their phone.

@mike710. This isn't just people fighting for their home. The Ukrainian government has been shelling the eastern Russian speaking part of the country since the elected government was overthrown with U.S. assistance in 2014. This is to keep one part of the country from seceding from another part. The current Ukrainian government has banned opposition political parties, engaged in press censorship, thrown political opponents into jail, and passed a law making it illegal for any male under 60 to leave because it wants to force them to stay and fight for the current regime. The Russians care about their country too. The U.S. told them they would not expand NATO to the Russian border. Ukraine had given up their nuclear weapons, but Zelensky had started talking about going nuclear again. The Russians do not want a hostile U.S. backed nuclear power on their border. How would Americans like a Russian backed hostile Mexico with nuclear weapons on our border? Did we do nothing when Russia tried that with Cuba? This is not really about the Ukraine. Putin needs to be portrayed as a dangerous menace here in the U.S. in order to justify our $800 billion yearly U.S. military budget. The military-industrial complex makes a lot of money from that and doesn't want the gravy train to end. A large military and our attempt to play policeman for the world is going to end, though, because we don't have the money for it. We are running trillion dollar a year deficits now and the money printing to pay for overspending is leading to high inflation and the impoverishment of the average American.
