I've met the dancer doing a feature at another club. She's a complete nut job. Innocent until proven guilty.

I agree with Dave. Even the classiest clubs, if you look around, you can probably spot the drug dealer and the guy with 2 frozen stripper heads in his freezer (assuming they are 2 different guys.) That being said, I've probably at one point visited every strip club here in the Detroit area, except Cheetahs. How anybody still goes there or works there is beyond me with all the shit that has gone down there over the last 4-5 years. Funny thing is, it's only about a mile from Penthouse club, and nothing (at least newsworthy) has happened there. Same shitty neighborhood, but it's all about the ownership and the clientele.

3. My wallet.
4. I've been told I'm not" creepy" like some other customers, but only after they get an idea of whats in my wallet.
5. Did I mention money yet?

Totally agree with jack and brewer. 1. They're all crazy. 2. I keep the club IN THE CLUB. Outside in the "real world" 99% of these girls are completely dysfunctional. In there it's the fantasy, all is well. Outside, they have loser boyfriends, drug problems, past due bills, probably a kid or two, and a daddy who never hugged them (or hugged them too much if you know what I mean.) Finding out any of those kills the fantasy once you go back inside the club.

Respecting the art form
Most of the "whining" I see is about mandatory valet, which is annoying. Basically, for a nice club, I expect to pay $40 to sit down, give or take $10 (valet, cover, booth.) Vegas is ridiculous with covers, but Vegas is a ridiculous place, so I expect to get ripped off there. I can see if the cover is $20 and you walk in and 2 dancers with a total of 10 teeth are in the place, but otherwise it's the cheap asses that whine about covers, drink prices, etc. It's simple, don't go back. If a club is really gouging at the door, and the club is trash, they won't stay in business. The way to get back at them is simple, don't ever go there again. You don't see people posting all over the web complaining about a $9 beer at a ballgame. Or $5 for a large popcorn at the movies (which costs them about 22 cents.) The cover charges are high, because people will pay it. If it's too high for the quality of the place, find another place.

Keeping these morons out of here is what makes this place an actual informative website. Without getting rid of these douchebags, it's just another stripclublist.com.

Getting a double lap from dancers that you don't have a strong "dancer/customer" relationship with is asking to get double fucked, and I don't mean in a sexual way.

The drink hustle is bullshit, but like mandatory valet, the shot hustle, and the prices for a bottle of water, I've learned to not let it bother me. What really bothers me is when you but a dancer a drink, and they don't drink it. Of all the bullshit that can go on in a club, for some reason that is what really bothers me.

To each his own I guess. I guess to define what I meant by scary, let me elaborate. It could be the nice gut she has going, the complete lack of tone to her body, the pasty white skin, the tats in places that you would only get if you lost a bet, her droopy A cups, the trailer trash hair, not to mention the face only a mother could love (seriously I love the black tar heroin look in the pic on the couch.) The only redeeming thing is the dead eyes that say "I'm a worthless whore, just do whatever u want, I don't care any more." I believe at the clubs I go to, girls like that are called crack whores. I honestly wouldn't fuck her if she paid me. Other than that, I guess she's ok. Or maybe the lighting is bad, and it's like that Seinfeld episode where the chick looks like 2 different people depending on the light.

I 100% agree with Player11's response. If you believe the SS and fall into that trap, you are a PL. I've actually found observing the club to find those unlucky bastards somewhat of a sport. Like people watching in Vegas. Lucky for me, I've been called "emotionally unavailable" and I pretty much don't trust anyone, so it keeps me from falling for the bullshit (90% of the time of course, nobody's perfect.) On a side note, no offense Player11, but the chicks on your photo's scare the living shit out of me.

I haven't written any out of town reviews, but being from the Detroit area, and reading comments on this site, I am aware of the vast differences from area to area. I know that when I eventually write a review on an out of town trip, I will take local ordinances into account. I am well aware that if I go to another town, there is about a 1% chance I will get the "service" I am used to here.

Simply put, I don't give fat girls a single dollar in a strip club. There's expectations at every job. I don't expect to look at a hog paying $8 a beer. I'm 6'2, white, and I can't jump. I don't expect to get drafted in the NBA, then bitch when I don't. A fat girl gave me the best BJ I ever had in college. And the lights were off, my eyes were closed, and I imagined she was Brooke Burke. I'm sure she had a better personality then you, I didn't stick around long enough to find out. I bolted while she was wiping the load out of her eye. Every city has that one strip club with a 50/50 hottie/hog ratio. Find it and hope you're a bigger slut than the other hogs. On a positive note, you won't make enough money to afford food, so you'll probably lose weight. Doubt it will help your personality though.

It does seem to be a "down" time for enforcement. I remember back when the cops where all over the place for a 2-3 week period that one guy posted how historically this has been very cyclical. Seems like a down time now. That whole robbery thing and the Cheetahs things seem pretty much isolated incidents, although Cheetahs seems to have a lot of isolated violence issues. I would call it an "indifferent" time. Although with all the lawsuits flying around, a casino opening in Flight club, and the spike in "random" violence, I don't think we can ever call the SC's in the area a 100% safe proposition. Just keep your eyes open for anything suspicious, and you'll be fine.

Ok, went twice over the last few days and here is what I observed. The remodel looks amazing. Alan truly went first class on everything related to the casino, the tables, the atmosphere, the views, everything looks better than I imagined. On the surface, it looks amazing. That being said, here is what I kind of thought all along. I still don't get the business model. It sounds like a gambler/strip club patrons dream on the surface. Everything under one roof. As a gambler and strip club patron, I really don't like them in one place. Over the first few days, it appears that both "businesses" are struggling.
They have about 12 poker tables, but no poker going on. Why? poker games need people. Unless you have 7 or more people ready to go, a game never gets started because nobody is going to sit around waiting for one to start when there are naked women everywhere. Poker isn't a "lets sit down for a few" game. It required time. Unless you can find enough regulars to play poker at a strip club, they will always struggle to get anyone to play. This was evident over the weekend as a poker game never started. Seriously, not one table! No matter how much this place is promoted, there is a good chance the poker room will NEVER take off (no pun intended.) Considering over half the space is poker, this is a gross miscalculation on their part! I don't think this can be overstated. Well over half the casino is empty. Completely empty.
On to blackjack. I was surprised to see normal casino rules. Most "charity" type rooms either pay 6-5 on blackjacks, or some even take pushes. They use normal rules, which is a good thing for players, still, never saw a full table (there are 5 or 6) and never saw more than 10 people playing total at one time. The dealers are ok, so no real issues here.
Roulette, like poker, never saw a single person playing. More wasted space (oh, and every table had a dealer at it, which they have to pay.)
As a whole, the casino is off to a terrible start, from a patronage standpoint. And he obviously put a boatload of money into this. Without slots, which they can never have unless the laws change, or some miracle promoting, this is simply not going to work as it is set up. Casino's are built on taking people's money, and nothing does that quite like a slot machine. Vegas was built on retired folks and welfare checks dumping money into SLOTS.
Now to the club. Dancers were pissed. Big time. The main strip club area was absolutely empty. Everyone was hanging around the upstairs bar, near the casino doors. The 4 or 5 dancers I talked to, as well as the shot girls, were making no money at all. And they were truly panicked. They guys that lost money at the tables now cant buy dances or shots, and the guys winning seemed to be there for the gambling and not the strippers. If this continues for any extended period of time, they will go elsewhere, and then they will be forced to lower standards and hire girls they wouldn't normally hire ,i.e. Bogarts/Henry's type skanks.
I know, it was the first weekend. They can call it a "soft" opening all they want, since the Black Tie grand opening isn't for a few weeks, but face it, that is for the select few. It is open for business, and business is not good. I was told it was busy on Friday. What strip club/casino isn't on Tigers opening day? It will take awhile for more people to find out about this, but they have ad's in local magazines, internet, etc. The thing is, the entire dynamic of this place has changed, and I just think the idea that hardcore gamblers would flock to this place was optimistic at best. The fact is, strip clubs are still an "underground" place in society, where many patrons don't want people to know they frequent. That does not help matters for the casino, because guys going out gambling that never go to strip clubs will not go here. Explain the night out with guys gambling to your significant other, while you smell like perfume.
Maybe this will change, maybe it will work after it get's going, but in my opinion, this very well could have DISASTER written all over it.

One of my friends went. I've been ripping on him all week, because seriously, what was he going to do on stage? He's not a comic, or a public speaker with something even remotely interesting to talk about. To anyone that went, what did you expect? It will be interesting to as reviews of this show get out nationally if people even show up to the others. The train wreck rolls on!

People complain about second hand smoke, then go pants to the ankles on a VIP couch that a dozen people jizz on each day. Really worried about health risks huh?
And in Michigan, you can smoke in every strip club that I know of. Some you have to go to a separate bar, but at places like Bogarts and Tycoons you can smoke right at the tables.

I was always using "I'm waiting for someone" but recently I've gotten bored with that so I switched up to what RickWood says, "I know you're here to make money, and I don't want to waste your time" kinda thing. It is stunning how many come back with the "well I'll hang out for awhile anyways." I thought that line would be perfect, yet I am amazed how often it backfires. Now I'm stuck with a girl I don't want, and it's blocking the spot for someone better to come along. I've become somewhat of a regular at a club recently, and I am happy that the girls that I've blown off seem to stay away. I would hate to have to try 3 or 4 different blow off lines to the same dumb whore that can't remember the last time. Or maybe I'll just use BaddJack's suggestion, that should work right?

Good question. Using the standard 1-10 scale, I'd rather have a 10 face and a 7 body than a 10 body and a 7 face. Now if the lower attribute is a 3 or 4, I'd rather have a 10 body with a 4 face than a 10 face with a 4 body. Does that make any sense?
