Clubs You Have Reviewed Now Closed
Six, not counting ownership changes. As for Silky's: "2 Dead After Shooting" http://pittsburgh.cbslocal.com/2015/09/25/deadly-shooting-at-silkys-nightclub-in-stowe-township/ FWIW, I gave up on McKees Rocks in 2013. There was too much sketchy gang shit visibly going on in the 'hood. OT: I don't see how Club E persists... terrible location, crap mileage in the basic LDs... guess I never figured out the secret there.

That kind of initiative is definitely appreciated... and often difficult to find. "Two weeks away from the club qualifies as a long time"... in her eyes, yes. DS clearly implied that once per week is expected to be a regular. (Not 'every single week' but more of a weekly habit that a monthly habit)

Strip Club Decline
^^ The fact that I live far enough away that I can't visit my fav club regularly (weekly) and the fact that I couldn't afford a $250+/week anyway is killing my motivation for this hobby.

Strip Club Decline
I agree with the notion that strip clubs have been on the decline. However, I think it is simply a matter of the typically customer just having less disposable income post-great-recession. Fewer customer spending less money reduces the take for both the dancers and the clubs. The dancers who don't think they are making what they are worth move on to other things w/e that may be. Clubs increase prices and/or tip out creating a negative feedback loop. I strongly disagree with the comment above about regulars. In the clubs I frequent, the casual customers have dried up and it is ALL about regulars. If you are not one of her regulars, she doesn't even bother talking to you. Lots of dancers are making prearranged appointments with their regulars. One dancer recently told me she has "a couple" of customers who come one a week and one regular who comes twice a week (at $250/room each). Even after splitting that with club, there's not much incentive to troll non-regulars at $20/dance it it jeopardizes a whale. OT.. I sure as hell don't have $500/week disposable income to compete with that nonsense.

Married and Miserable or Single and Lonely?
There are unicorns out there. Debating how rare they are could fill another thread. The thing is (at least in my experience) even when you do find a unicorn, odds are that they are NOT available. Yes, there are other options. Reliable FWB would be vastly superior to either miserable or lonely. Win the lottery and spend lots of time living the LondonGuy lifestyle would be vastly superior. Sure some people are happy / content in their marriage and partner. However, particularly in hindsight, that's never been true in my family. Staying in it is just the lesser evil to a lot of people. Lots of couples put on a good front to the world but are a shit show in private. Lonely / miserable are not the 'only 2 categories' but they sure seem to be the largest 2 from what I see. Probably getting OT but... I also see marriage as very high risk. Half of your wealth and probably continuing payments if things don't work out until you're so old and gray it doesn't matter? Seems to me like there would have to be a comparatively high reward to justify such risk.

#2. (#1 would seem to benefit everyone else @ Cheetah's more than the table paying for the table dance)

Married and Miserable or Single and Lonely?
Dealing with other people is the single most draining thing for me. I can't fathom having to come home and have another 6-8 hrs of interpersonal stuff to deal with. I'll stick with 'small doses."

GOAT
Who's your pick if you are playing for you life? I pick Jordan. Also, IMO, today's players would not fair as well back in the day when full contact defense was allowed. I gotta think Dennis Rodman in his prime would shut down LBJ under 90's era rules.

Well... I try to not think about clubbing in terms of regions. Detroit seems like the obvious city for extras. Follies is the exception, not the rule in Atlanta metro, and Follies has it's negatives. Florida strikes me as the best state since you have both Tampa/Pasco Co and Miami/Ft Lauderdale as options. LA/COI probably has good options if you can tolerate the traffic.

Destination cities - Food / Clubs
First, thanks for posting this question. I too often wonder what are good destination cities for hobby-ing that have other attractions to justify significant travel. Purely from a mongering / high mileage viewpoint... I'd think Detroit would be the obvious choice for summertime clubbing in US. Not sure how that would fit into the couples / foodie requirements. Guessing DTW wouldn't be very couples friendly. NOLA and Vegas have high tourist influence which affects the club scene. Although, in your case, the the tourist slant may be more pro than con. Vegas is also expensive. Personally, I haven't seen any info on the Philly scene that would make me want to club there.

Would You Really Ever Date A Stripper?
There have been two strippers that I 'tried' to get into a dating situation. Both attempts never got off the ground for multiple reasons. The first time was a CF who had an impressive legit job. I'm confident she was interested in a relationship too. It turned out she had major non-strippa drama in her life. Part of me feels like I dodged a bullet, part of me still wonder what could have been. The second was my ATF. The short answer there is that it was all SS and I was a fool for thinking it could have been more. To answer the OP: being a stripper (assuming low mileage) isn't the deal breaker. It's the unsavory friends and/or the lake of being able to function in the real work and/or the uncontrolled spending and/or the illegal drug and/or there is 'Follies mileage' involved and/or etc.

IMO, you got to have a 2nd or 3rd choice option in your playbook... although if all of your fall back options don't show up (like last night damit) it can be a grim situation

"Depends on the rest of the talent" Exactly my thoughts. If it's her or nothing, I try to wait within reason. If there are comparable alternatives, I move on to the other options. Maybe OT but, at least lately, I care far more about her being nice / friendly to me than the physical.

The economy, how does it effect clubbing.
IMO... more money draws in better looking dancers. However, those dancers are not as desperate to provide mileage, and generally don't need to because there is too much easy money being thrown around.

hope I'm not over thinking this... but it's more an 'extras city' not a state IMO. Options can vary significantly with a state, for example San Diego vs several other places in Cali.
