The last time this happened to me, I pressed the dancer and she told me: "Those guys are creeps." Not being a creep isn't exactly a boost to my ego.

WV clubs are nude and serve alcohol, but are mostly low mileage. Many WV clubs are near border states/counties with stricter laws: western MD, VA, PA, OH.

But, how did I get here? I lifetime desire to oogle pretty, naked girls. Why do I like our peculiar little world so much? See above. How can I spend so much money on frivolities with few conscience qualms? I spend what I have to spend, just like others do on any hobby. I'm not depriving anyone of anything by doing so. Why is the SC me such a different man than the work me? Not really true. The SC me is just a more relaxed, fun version of the buttoned-down me.

I once got an LD on a wooden board nailed to the wall in what could rightfully be called a closet. I have nothing against dive bars, but that was a bit much.

I'm wondering if he has to pay his daughter for babysitting. And if he figures that cost into OTC expenses.

I get the "soft hands" comment all the time. It just distinguishes you from the customers who have rough hands from doing manual labor.

Perhaps she meant "annual sex"?

Every NC club I've been in is this way, although there's no waiting period: pay the membership fee at the door, fill out the form, show your ID, and you can immediately go in. I think they are all private clubs to get around the nudity and alcohol laws. One of the reasons I avoid clubs in NC.

Seriously, I usually ask up front if I don't know the rules. A polite "Where may I touch you?" and she'll tell you.

I know of one club that has private hot tub dances, and the customer gets in with the dancer. I've never been tempted to try it.

I've had the opposite problem, which involved being asked to sit on my hands.

I like it! Reverse marketing trick. But then again, this could be one of the gateways to being asked to do porn.

Why doesn't someone open a club simply called "Extras"?

In my experience, the club matters a lot more than race or ethnic background.

Speaking of time, has anyone else noticed that the "Most Recent Review" in your Hotlist can be days if not weeks older than the most current review? This seems to have been a problem for awhile.

Bingo, santiago. Other dancers see you spending, and probably infer from the time that your fav is spending with you that you aren't an a-hole, and they want some access to your wallet as well.

Not even with Dick Johnson's johnson.

Has anyone else seen this as a trend the last year or so? I've encountered clubs with lots of customers, but no one tipping, no one sitting at the stage. (Contrary to your observations, I've seen this at some of the WV panhandle clubs.) Seems to lead to more and more "dancers" not getting on stage and only working the room for LDs. Does the economy have something to do with it?
