Thanks all for the tips. Never really even thought about Toronto so I'll have to do some more research there. And I'll probably go ahead and take the plunge on TJ. And I've always heard great things about Florida but it always seemed like too big of a playground to target. I'll send out a couple PMs as I start firming up the schedule there. Again thanks everybody.

Depends on where you live/hobby. Eccie is a great one...especially so if you're in TX. Somewhat of a presence in NY.

Interesting. I was a mere 1/4 mile down the road at the St. James on Friday night.

Well I'm embarrased to admit that, several years back, a continuous session in the spearmint rhino in Vegas (3+ hrs) cost $400/hr x 3 = $1200. Was too drunk to recall how many actual sessions that inlcuded...was one continual session more than anything. And it was fun, what I remember at least. But, given I was so drunk, the exact remembrance isn't all that great. But I do remember my wallet being lighter by $1200 by daylight.

Chicago is stripclub hell. Don't even bother with the clubs in-city. You'll get more action out of a Victoria Secret catalog. Clubs out South, while more friendly, can get extremely expensive. $30 dances with very little privacy. If you want to pay up for the VIP, be prepared for $300 + tip to dancer + tips to bouncers for 1/2 hour. If you don't tip the bouncers well, you will not get privacy, even in the VIP. $600++ for the hour. Absolutely not worth it. Stick to IS. Or better yet, get yourself up to Detroit.

To me these girls would rank among the top talent at any club I've been to. And this includes Spearmint Rhino in Vegas. But for comparison purposes:
1-7.5 (her upper body somehow look a bit beefy)
2-6 (attractive but just not my type)
3-9 (that's a tall wow)
4-9.5 (looks like the girl from Lethal Weapon #2)
5-7.5 (looks like Phoebe from Friends)
6-9 (and i like the tits)

That's an awesome review. Unfortunatley I've done the exact same thing at the Rhino - a couple times.

I share your dismay. Get on a plane and head out of town if you're looking for a real strip club.

Curious about the comments on 'regulars'. I've never actually seen what I assume (and what a girl tells me) is a regular actually get a dance...ever. However I have seen many girls spend entire evenings with one. How do girls make consistent money from regulars? Just curious. Perhaps I should raise this subject in a new thread.

Oh, and your maps are incorrect. The travel time from O'Hare (I'm sure you're not flying into Midway from London) to Industrial Strip or to South Chicago will be more like driving from the Vegas airport out to the Boulder Dam. Expect one way transit of +1 hour.

I must take an opposing opinion on Chicago. Given your stripclub history, I suspect you will be disappointed with the Chicago clubs and this includes the Industrial Strip. Might get some decent contact but somehow it just doesn't translate to a Vegas-like experience. Not even close. Other options for Chicago are to head way, way south to Club O or Club 390. Again, good contact but expensive. And don't expect anything beyond contact in Chicago. You mentioned a possible stopover in Dallas - take it.

Hands down - biggest disappointment is Chicago. The 'better' clubs are all nearly an hour from the city/airports, clubs are some of the most expensive in the country, a locals oriented environment which is very unfriendly for the business crowd, and the talent is only slightly above average. I'm sure there are worse cities (Salt Lake would seem challenging) but in terms of disappointing relative to expectations - Chicago takes it.
Worst region is definitely the Midwest.

Yes - $7. After returning from the tip rail I had my 'roll' of $1s by my side while I got settled into my seat. Girl comes by and asks if I wanted a dance which I kindly decline. I notice she notices my $s on the chair and she leans in as if to give me a view of her tits, grabs the roll and then starts to walk off. I inform her the money she just picked up is indeed mine and she, in a very bitchy manner, returns the $1s saying she didn't know whose money it was. Then she asks for a tip for returning the money to which I kindly replied fuck off and informed a club bouncer of her attempted thievery. Only time that has happened.
Now if you consider thievery via ghost dances - when a dancer overcounts the number of songs in a series of dances you've recieved from her - I've experienced this a handful of times over the years and have never paid for a dance that didn't actually happen. If it was apparent her miscount wasn't related to her lack of algebra skills and most especially if she persists I always take the issue directly to management. Actually happened a few weeks back and after only 1 song! E. Euro dancer insists we had just completed song #2 at $30 a pop. Mgt took care of it. Amazes me girls even attempt this - I think for some it is a form of attempted retribution (a way of getting even of sorts) against men in general for thier self-perceived lot in life. That or they're just ROBs! But 98% of the time - absolutely no problem.

I too remember those shows at the Platinum Plus as I was floored when I first observed several years ago. And that's also why I would visit 4-5x per year even though I lived a day's drive away. At one time I heard New Orleans clubs offered similar fare but based on reviews I've read it certainly doesn't appear that way.

If there is a Midwest version, I will be there! Plus, this will give me the excuse to try out the clubs in IN or MI. I've been itching to try either Brad's or Hip Hugger in IN or the Flight Club in MI. I strongly advise against Chicago as a Midwest destination.

As a recent transplant to Chicago, I share your disbelief and observations. Try the clubs in Harvey (I recommend Club O). The girls are a bit standoffish to anyone new but great dances with attrative women can be had. And there is definitely some grime factor with this club - the parking lot entrance can make one's stomach turn the first time. Enjoy.

In a club where the pricing is more fixed I tend to tip $5 on a $20 dance but only in accordance with the level of effort put forth by the dancer and the atmosphere she creates between the two of us. If she is simply going through the motions, just the base rate of $20 will be sufficient for her time.

When she is completely at ease with the interaction between the two of you. And exploring the bounds of that interaction generates the excitement of the dance.

Ah yes the Flight Club cash advance counter. Drank a bit too much one night and ran out of cash, argued with some tart running the cash advance counter (did I mention I I was drunk), then walked to the shitty convenience store down the road to get cash instead. A walk I would not have done sober in that area.
