The weatherman's name is Jack Church. Jack Church. Sounds like a nickname for the Blue Diamond.

Clubber, I agree! Troop, the attitude here in Oman about bin Laden's death is a little detached. To understand, you have to know about Muslim sects. The sect in Oman is an ancient spinoff, called Ibadi. They view themselves as separate and pure, and they don't align with the major sects. That means they are not going to get involved in the Sunni vs Shiite sectarian violence, and they are not going to embrace some fanatic Saudi from a Yemeni family (bin Laden). I think they are politically neutral, but personally the men here seem to understand we had to hunt him down. If there is one thing common in the Arab world, it is that it is essential to defend your tribe. Our action against bin Laden fits into that well.

Oh gilllydon gets the prize for the most nerdy response. 120 most recent posts. Recorded manually with a tally sheet. The 2 posts at 106 are the same guy. As I said, there is sort of a bug in the recent reviews list. If you post two reviews, one right after the other, they will both show your number of posts as your current number. So the guy with 106 posted review #1 and it showed as his 105th review, but then when he posted review #106, his review total now shows as 106 on both reviews. Any other technical questions? Anyone want to debate the merit of median versus mean? As for camels, this is a society in which the Muslim women dress in public exclusively in an "Abaya", which is a black full length gown, with only their faces showing. There are no public displays of affection between men and women, and no obvious dating. All Internet porn is blocked by the country firewall, and there are no nudie magazines, and no porn videos. What is a single guy to do?

I'll leave the camels and goats to the local boys. My reference to Dubai was suggestive. Those who have traveled there know it is a den of iniquity. And Oman is not without opportunities for fun. Wherever there is income disparity, there is potential.

farmerart, LOL! Who was it who said sex is 90% mental? As for tattoos and piercings, I don't have strong aversion, but at some point, decoration turns to mutilation. Plus, there is something really sad about a large abdominal tattoo after childbirth. Is that a flower or a gila monster?

    Bye Bye bin laden!
I'm waiting for the reactions over here in Oman. I spoke with a Pakistani guy who works for me. He was noncommittal. My Australian buddy has the same attitude as Americans (Go to hell Bin Laden). I don't think there will be trouble here, but every weekend I walk the dogs on the beach past the US embassy, so it will be interesting to see if the security situation changes. Tonight, my slender Chinese girl is paying a visit. I feel inspired.

    Viva Las Vegas!!!
Gee, this thread didn't go the direction intended! Until my recent relocation to the Land of Zero Strip Clubs (Muscat, Oman) I lived in Phoenix and traveled to Vegas 2 or 3 times a year. Always went to strip clubs there. Not one strip club visit in Vegas would make my top ten list. I go there for the shows, good food, and the illusion that I will be lucky in the casinos. The strip clubs are a diversion: sometimes pleasant, and sometimes such a bad value that I vow never to return. Of course, we know how those vows work out. Places I would rather go to for their strip clubs: - Detroit - Tampa - Dallas - Houston - Phoenix - San Diego (ahem...well Tijuana really) - East St Louis - A notable strip of the northeast corridor extending from Irvington NJ to Tolland CT

Just think, 30 minutes after you get in your rental car at the airport you can be sitting in a dirty booth with a 30-something lady giving you a blow job. ESL, gotta love it.

Just a fat, creepy old pervert.
    Too much noise
One summer I lived in a 1st floor apartment in a row house in Baltimore. The guy above me had a water bed. Halfway through the summer, he got a girlfriend. So every other evening it was "Oh yeah!' slosh slosh, "Give it to me!" gurgle gurgle...I was afraid the whole heavy mess would come down on top of me.

    vegas question
I have been to many of them. Depends on your preferences and budget: - Full nude, Lil Darlings (but not my preference as even daytime cover is high) - Daytime, Olympic Garden - Nighttime high budget Sapphire or Spearmint Rhino Cheetahs is more miss than hit.

    Dancer Sales Pitches
From a dancer on-stage at Electric Blue cafe, "When I get off the stage, let's go for some dances. I want play with your cock." Sold! From an ebony lady at Vic's Place (in lovely Irvington, NJ), "Why don't we get that thang out an' put a glove on it?"

Strip club regular...5 times a week!!!!!!!
There are guys who go to regular bars every night. Consider it to be the same thing. Escapism, avoidance, boredom, loneliness, despair. These are probably all in the mix. You may be the thing that brightens his day. Or you may be an unhealthy obsession. Go work somewhere else for 3 weeks if you can, and then come back if you prefer this club. Maybe that will break the cycle.

    Is tuscl Corporate and Stuffy?
I've been on TUSCL for a long time. The nature of the reviews and discussions has not changed much (although there is more discussion of ITC, OTC, etc then there used to be). I don't see the basis for the complaint. On the other hand, I know you refresh the UI every once in a while, and the current UI is nice and clean, but as another post mentioned, the discussion board main page layout is not too efficient, with too much space dedicated on the left to info about the member. There, that's my complaint!

    Clingy dancers
RD has it right. The idea is to get her to leave without offending her (too much). Clubber, that neck massage girl must have relocated from Phoenix. There was a similar girl in a club there, always offering massages for the same price as a lap dance. She claimed to be a professional masseuse. At first, I politely refused, and she still came around; but eventually I told her exactly what I thought (gimme a break!) and she never bothered me again.

Strippers you've been with - generally a better lay compared to other women?
mmdv26 is on to the key factor...age. The average stripper is young, inexperienced, and not that skilled in bed. Give me a 30-something lady who has kept herself in good shape. She will know what she wants and she will know how to do the deed.

natasha from the sundowner ..... i need to know more
Look, you're not buying a TV at Walmart. You're trying to convince a woman you hardly know to go someplace and have sex with you. You're going to have to invest some more time (and, obviously some more money) in the club with her. Then you're going to have to ask her if she will go outside the club with you. And the odds are, she will say no. Because you're treating her like a commodity, not a real person.

    Need Florida Recommendations
On the west coast of FLorida, I would say Tampa is the place. I have tried clubs in Ft Myers and was not impressed. Club experience in Orlando was not great either. In Tampa, I have been to Mons, 2001 Odyssey and Scarlett's (and a few dive clubs, but that is an acquired taste). Had the most fun at Mons. Some guys object to receiving lap dances out in the open. If you are like that, than Scarletts may be the better option. Enjoy and report!

Advice For a Weekend Booty Call
Treat her like a lady. The rest will come naturally. And watch out for the excess drinking. My worst experiences involved too much alcohol.
