Log Normal Distributions

OK, so I'm sitting in my villa in Oman. There are no strip clubs here. But with the help of my trusty VPN, I can surf the web, and TUSCL deserves a regular visit. Inquiring minds want to know, how many posts has the average contributor posted? So, being the engineer, I just spent a few minutes perusing the stats, and here they are (cus you really want to know, right?)
Out of the 120 most recent posts, here is the count:
1 - 32 guys
2 - 12
3 - 12
4 - 9
5 - 3
6 - 4
7 - 2
8 - 3
9 - 1
11 - 2 12 - 5 13 - 3 15 - 2 16 - 1 17 - 1
20 - 1 22 - 1 25 - 1 26 - 3 28 - 2 29 - 2
33 - 3 38 - 1 45 - 1 53 - 1 57 - 1 63 - 2
66 - 3 76 - 1 85 - 1 89 - 1 100 - 1 106 - 2
First, an oddity, in that TUSCL seems to put the same count on multiple posts by the same guy if they are posted on right after another (hey Founder, some sort of bug).
Second, this is a classic log normal distribution, which is found in many situations, but in this case can be described as a population that is subject to heavy infant mortality, so the average "age" is very low.
And the average? Well, the "median" is the best measure, and that is about 3.5 posts.
Lest you feel sorry for me, this past weekend I was in Dubai for 3 nights. But that story does not belong on a strip club web site.

Also did you go through manually and count up the numbers, or did you write a script to crawl the discussion forums and record the numbers?

^^
so which one waa me?
Camels ??
Although I can see some of those guys doing them. With some of their views on other things, yep, I believe it.
Any other technical questions? Anyone want to debate the merit of median versus mean?
As for camels, this is a society in which the Muslim women dress in public exclusively in an "Abaya", which is a black full length gown, with only their faces showing. There are no public displays of affection between men and women, and no obvious dating. All Internet porn is blocked by the country firewall, and there are no nudie magazines, and no porn videos. What is a single guy to do?
If you're bored it would be interesting to see the statistics on whether the newbie reviewers give higher average ratings (at a statistically significant level) than the experienced reviewers. If they do it might be because they haven't been to many clubs and are thrilled just to see nude girls, or because the experienced reviewers have developed higher standards and are rating new random clubs from travel. If they have on average lower ratings then it might mean the experienced reviewers already have a good sense of which clubs are good and stick to those and continue to rate them highly.
YAWN!
Sorry hd.
Troop, the attitude here in Oman about bin Laden's death is a little detached. To understand, you have to know about Muslim sects. The sect in Oman is an ancient spinoff, called Ibadi. They view themselves as separate and pure, and they don't align with the major sects. That means they are not going to get involved in the Sunni vs Shiite sectarian violence, and they are not going to embrace some fanatic Saudi from a Yemeni family (bin Laden). I think they are politically neutral, but personally the men here seem to understand we had to hunt him down. If there is one thing common in the Arab world, it is that it is essential to defend your tribe. Our action against bin Laden fits into that well.
