Agree that at many clubs in the U.S., the stripper-hooker line is blurred.
The club provides a reasonably safe and clean place to have impulsive sex. I just wish I could get totally naked and lay down on the couch in VIP so the dancer/stripper/whore could sit on top of me.

I'll bet your wife has some reasons for her sex-lite ways that have little to do with you. Some of this might come out in therapy, and an honest and communicative relationship could emerge. I would guess that neither you or your wife are capable of being intimate (intimacy is not sex), and that plays out for you as being perpetually horned-up, and for her as being perpetually clammed-up. It's a very frustrating condition for both of you.
Btw, I'd be interested in getting the rest of that BJ if you don't plan on getting it.

Getting "blocked out" is part of the SC game. Most dancers understand this, and go out of their way to avoid it, but it still happens. I have voluntarily relinquished my time with a dancer in order to accommodate some douche bag...I mean customer. Funny how "I'm going to do 2 dances for this guy and then I'll be right back" turns into 45 minutes...or more.
It reinforces my belief that one should always keep a couple of balls in the air at the club. I've never received a discount because I was monogamous with a particular dancer. So, if one has trouble staying with me, I just move to another girl...and punish the one who allowed me to be "blocked-out" by not doing dances with her until she is ready to recognize my value...and give me a big discount to make amends.
There aren't very many dancers worth fighting over either. Not everybody recognizes that, and that is where the trouble can start. Situational awareness is critical in strip club parking lots after dark...for a lot of reasons.

I print out a few reviews every year or so and take them to the club for the girls to read. Many are offended when their name doesn't appear, but most are genuinely interested in the criticisms and what they can do to correct those....then they go back to texting their friends and playing Angry Bird on their phones.

I've seen cases like the SD & Stacy. Stacy in my story didn't do FS with him, but she and her husband and kids would have him over for dinner, and take him places. I guess he didn't have a family.....
Maybe she enjoys your company, and that can mean a lot. She's lucky to find the "well connected gentleman" who will just give her money for seemingly nothing, so she's financially secure in the near term, and will see you OTC for a reasonable amount of money.
Enjoy her company, and remember she might like you for less money, so don't go blow a big wad of cash on her. I don't think she requires it from you. If you aren't getting where you want to be with her pretty soon, take that as a sign that she's playing you, and move on.

I have had this over-counting thing happen now and then. With a new dancer, I try not to let more than 2 or 3 dances happen without confirming that our count is the same. ROB's routinely think 2 equals 3. I can usually remember the names of 3 songs (except that techno shit) and we can get the count synched before getting into a big hole like 8 equals 11. But, it was probably an 8=11 situation that caused me to adjust my approach on this to begin with.

C. Mowes Key Club in WP, early 90's. Sitting in one of those banquet-type chairs off to the side of the room with the dancer straddling me face to face. Everybody in the room likely knew what we were doing, as they had probably done the same thing. Just the way it was done there before the City made them build a (VIP?) stall so it was a little more discreet.
I was pretty nervous, and at one point she threatened to charge me extra if I didn't hurry up and get off.

Asking is good, but actions speak louder than words. If she isn't rubbing your dick through your pants by the end of the first song, she probably isn't going to be doing that three songs later either.
Good dancers guide your hand to the places they are comfortable with you touching. They want money, and they don't want to waste time getting it from more dances and bigger tips.
Know the club. If dances are done in an area where everybody can see what you are doing, you won't be doing as much. Good clubs offer some degree of privacy with interrupted sight lines.
If management isn't watching and there's no other dancers around then the sky might be the limit with some dancers. Dancers who are prostitutes in disguise are pretty ingenious about disguising what they are doing in any situation.
Some dancers and some clubs are better for watching than touching

Dancers are not therapists, because they offer no rational way out of life situations that you may bring up to them. Usually more of the same shitty ideas that got them to the stripper pole in the first place.
