I lived in Dallas in the late 70's and much of the 80's. The first strip club I ever went to was the Fare on Greenville Avenue (@ Meadow Lane??). It was a topless place with beer and slender little Texas girls who got up on stage and table tops and showed you their titties. Only fun if you were drinking Lone Stars with buds...to go alone to see the tits would have been the sign of a perv. They tore the original building down a few years ago, but I guess the Fare lives on over in the Stemmons Frwy area. Even then, this club had the feel of today's clubs well lit inside, bouncers, and lots of girls.
Another club, Baby Dolls, was located a block or so off NW Highway near Bachman Lake (Love Field area). In the late 70's, it was a dark. hole-in-the-wall, BYOB club, that featured 4's & 5's getting naked on a little stage in the corner (no laps as I recall). I had become something of a loner at that point in my life, and I would get a six pack of Heineken (green bottles of course), go over there and gaze at latino pussy, get pretty buzzed and horned up then drive home to the Village Apts at Greenville & Lovers and take care of myself...
There was a hole-in-the-wall on Lemmon Ave near Love that had a french type name like Chez Chateau. Anyway, I think it was a bikini club that served alc and of course fake expensive champagne for the dancer. If you got her some fake bubbly and gave her some $$, she would give you HJ under the table. Or, if you gave her a lot more money, you could go out to the parking lot she would get in your car with you and give you a BJ. All the while with Bruno standing next to the car making sure you didn't really enjoy it that much. I'm sure OTC would have been available, but I never did that.
There was also a place over on Harry Hines where you went inside picked a girl, gave her $50, went to a cubicle and got BBFS. I did that once with a cute little spinner.
After that I started running with a crowd that had lots of single horny girls from Michigan, and that started my 10-year hiatus from strip clubs.

Agree that the Topeka/Lawrence clubs are uninspiring for the most part. Outhouse used to be fun on weekend nights when the college boys from KU (main campus in Lawrence)go out there. Lots of girls show up to dance. I assume it's still about the same, but I haven't been out there in s few years.
I think the better club in the area is Trop56. It's about 20 miles south of Topeka on US75. It's a dive, but it's got a fairly private VIP and a pool table in case the girls don't turn you on. Rural legend has it that the house next door used to provide an opportunity for OTC, but I think the owner of the club might live there now.

During a nice hot dance, a comment that worked for me was, "wow, this would be even better if we were someplace else." Sometimes her reply was silence, and other times it was something like, "we can talk about that." That exchange was usually pretty telling, and gave me a clear idea of who I might not spend much money on in hopes of OTC in the future.
When I was in my OTC prime 10-15 years ago, I figured it took me, at the clubs I frequented, around $1000 spent on a fairly nice girl over a period of a few weeks before she would finally agree to OTC.
Of course some places, like ESL, are different, and the issue is not whether she will or won't, but rather what time she has open after work today or before work tomorrow morning.

Whitey here as well. I think all of the clubs in ESL have at least a few AA dancers. Outside of Brooklyn and Washington Park, the mileage factor drops off significantly. "Situational awareness" is important anywhere and anytime in ESL.
I'd only do Brooklyn during daylight hours. Pink Slip is 100% AA club, and I've had good take-out there during the afternoon. Usually disappointed with Bottoms Up (90% AA); it seems to be a late night place.
In Washington Park, there are 3 clubs out by I-64. All are well-lit and the parking lots are patrolled, so I think that area is reasonably safe at night. Of the 3 clubs, Miss Kitty's (20% AA) is prolly best bet for fun with AA girls. Unfortunately, the best AA club in the universe (Soft Touch) burned down last year.
Back in the neighborhoods of WP is Dollies (50% AA) which is usually a fun place at the stage, but VIP privacy is not so good. Across the street is Blondie's (100% AA), but I don't think they open until later in the afternoon. Only a couple of blocks from the police station, so it might be safe early in the evening. A half-mile down the road is C-Mowes (33% AA) where I think all dancers will do BBBJ or covered FS in VIP. Looks could be an issue. Couple of newer clubs in the same block as C-Mowes, but they are too expensive to be fun. 8' tall chain link fences around several parking lots; daytime only in this scary part of town.
