In evolutionary theory anything that costs energy is selected against. The female orgasm must provide more of an advantage than it costs or it would not exist. We know there must be a advantage, but what is that advantage. As far as I recall, no one had come up with a solid advantage that outweighs the cost in energy and added complexity.

College anthropology was way too long ago. Before most of the strippers I see were born.
I may be misremembering and there has probably been much work in the field since then.
The female orgasm consumes quite a bit of energy. If it did not serve a purpose it would not have evolved. That does not rule out the female orgasm being a co opted male orgasm.
As for male nipples, it is easier to have one general blueprint with fewer deviations. The nipples do not take up much in the way of resources and do not make us much more vulnerable so there is no pressure for them to evolve away.

Maybe I'm missing something here. A customer requests something. The service provider names a price for that service. There was no mention of rudeness or insults in the OP. It was a simple service, drink a shot with me. Unless there is more to the story I don't know why it would end a good P2P relationship.
Dancers sell their time. A shot isn't one minute . It is five or ten minutes of her time hanging with you. That's is at least a couple of dances time wise.
However, if this perceived insult is enough for you to end the relationship, that is your call.

A few from my high school became strippers. A few were comfortable with me seeing them on stage and some weren't. I frequently tell my customers they need to pay me more for the services I provide. They don't get made and end our business relationship. Usually they agree or counter offer. Occasionally they say no thank you and hire someone else. I can't recall a single time it ended our business relationship. Why would a dancer asking for too much one time end the relationship? Tell her no you won't pay for her to take a shot but you will continue to pay for dances and whatever other activities.

A few years ago there was a guy at one of my regular clubs that would ball room dance with several of the ladies when things were slow. He'd tip the DJ to play something appropriate and they would dance in the corner of the bar. The ladies that knew how to dance enjoyed it. Change the word to reasons and it is still the same. If she says no to something i dont require a reason so i dont ask. I get annoyed when people ask me to explain my choices.
Ladies have volunteered reasons for saying no to my requests. Usually it is i dont do that or i save that for my boyfriend.

If someone eats the same meal every day we would think there is something wrong with him. Same episode of the same TV show and we'd think he needs help. We avoid the guy that wears the same clothing every day.
