SC Pro tip: when visiting clubs in the daytime- close one eye for 5-10 minutes before you go in. This will open up your retina to allow you to see in the darkened club. You just shut the other eye and open up the one you previously kept shut. Old school pirates wore eye patches that they would flip from one eye to the other when going above and below deck. Happy Mongering!

I'm surprised they are playing full length songs- they have been notorious for songs between 1:45 and 2:30...may have to investigate

I told my wife about my SC habits and some OTC meetings about 20 years ago as a way of being honest and trying to work on saving the marriage. She blamed herself for driving me to seek out these other women and went into a sever depression and many years of therapy that cost way too much money. We are still together and things are great but my SC habits continue, but I will NEVER-EVER make the mistake of opening up and be honest about them. Not only did it cost a ton of cash, it really hurt her and she did nothing to deserve it.

CHicago clubs are now also smoke free. It is nice to not smell of smoke after a visit to the club. Now I just smell like stripper perfume..lol. Dancers and customers run outside to smoke, some clubs even have set up heaters and tents for people to smoke in. I joked with one dancer about her doing extras while taking a 'smoke break' in my car...she laughed and said "you know that might work out".... All in all is hasn't affected attendance, that I've noticed.

chitown-the trouble with statistics is they can be swayed any way to sell your point. Bikini bars or places that do lingerie shows technically would not qualify as strip clubs, if they did than the public beaches would. Ultimately I think the term needs to apply to any establishment where the actual or suggested/simulated sexual acts are performed by entertainers for the exchange of money. It may also be simply defined as any place where your S.O. gets pissed at you for going to. For some this may include something as lame as Hooters restaurants.

Had to get a vista machine because the evil microsoft wont allow anybody to sell stuff with anything different. Prgorams stop responding in the middle of using them and lag behind. I have to reboot way more than ever. Would love to switch to Mac which is my home machine but I'd have to change the whole office and that too much $$$, so I sit and bitch about how much vista sucks and think about how computers were suppossed to make our lives simpler and have us working 20 hour weeks instead of 40. We all bit off on that lie. Thank god for the diversion of the interent and the fact that every year there is another graduating class of dancers ready to give us our own up-grades!

I once had a regular atf that took care of me with one way contact. I never tried for 2 way. One day she asked if I wanted to do a double dance with one of her friends. The three of us hit the LD room and started. The 2nd girl initiated the 2 way contact with my ATF and i joined in for what became 3 way contact. Since the line was crossed the regular 1 on 1 dances with my ATF now include 2 way contact. Who knew, not me, I didn't try or ask, it just happened. Dances are much better for both of us now.

Tell them that you're driving and would hate for the responsibility of being over-served bring the club and the shot girl into a legal fracass. That usually scares em off. You of course can't be drinking alcohol to keep your story straight ....or just go to another club.

Essentially the girls are in sales and selling a fantasy product. Anything that adds to that fantasy is going to be a plus. In a competitive market its the dancers who can set their 'product' apart from their competition. If the girls all dressed the same it wouldn't feed into the whole variety os the spice of life thing that we justify our trips to clubs with. Someone once said if man didn't need variety than they'd only need to buy one issue of Playboy!

Most clubs now cut songs short to a consistent length. That way none of the girls can bitch about dj's playing longer songs for certain girls keeping them trapped on stage. It also keeps us guys from getting super long lap dances, can I say "inna godda davida baby". Years ago, in the 90's, my favorite club used to love playing 'stranglehold' by ted nugent. Over 7 minutes long and the best bang for the lap dance buck. Now clubs are lucky to give you 3 minutes. I also miss hearing full length songs while just hanging out at a club.

Every year I get a little older and there's a new graduating class populating the poles. Thats the economy of succession.

Try reading the book 'Candy Girl' by Diablo Cody. Its a true life story of a girl who decided to try dancing and lasted about a year. Her journey is funny and insiteful. It gives us customers a little view from the pole so to speak.

I once brought in a bunch of those really big candy canes, the ones that look like small billy clubs. All the girls wanted them and some even proceeded to use them on stage in different ways. It got very exciting. The crowd loved it and the girls raked in cash. I got some extra special attention during my ld's later that night and for a few nights after.

I'm guilty of this especially if I'm out of town. Its hard to keep up the lie where you're a regular. Once i slipped my wedding ring onto a necklace I was wearing and convinced a dancer that my wife had died of cervical cancer and that it was still way to painful to date or have sex with other women and that I only came to strip clubs to make sure that I was still alive down there. I actually moved her to the point of tears before getting a lap dance form her. I'd hoped that the story might elicit more mileage but she stayed within the rules of the club which were pretty tame. The other lie I've told is that my job is that of a professional driver. That I get to drive different cars for tv commercials on closed courses and through the desert and whatever. If you watch any sports you see the same commerecial 100 times so its easy to talk about how you got to drive the new whatever through the streets in the middle of the night going 120 mph. Since the drivers are never shown its hard to disprove. A buddy of mine used to say he a professional hockey goalie from whatever team was visiting that night. Goalie's wear the mask most of the game so its hard to bust him on it. I don't know a damn thing about hockey so I could never pull this one off.

Nothings worse than going to a club expecting high mileage or extras from so and so and not getting anything. Ultimately what you get and why is up the girl. The term your mileage may vary is a truism in this hobby for sure. I've avoided clubs where the mileage is reportedly low and no extras are available. This is what should be reported so we can save our money and more importantly our time here on this rock. That way we won't be getting anyone in trouble, wont be accussed of bragging and will still be doing our fellow hobbyists a great service. So, if you're getting great mileage or extras keep it quiet- don't take a chance on ruining it for yourself or others. If the club is low/no mileage let us know! TUSCL is a resource I use whenever I travel and I plan my recreation based on the reviews and comments here. It also serves as a virtual experience as I can vitually go to just about any club in the country. Keep up the great exchange of information.

I've been taken to many strip clubs over the years on business. I've never hosted these excursions. The hosts typically buy dances for their guests. Because it is a business thing you never want to loose your sense of professionalism and get too drunk or do something embarassing that would cause a lack of respect from your host. The people that have hosted these trips never partook in any dances while we were there with them. It was strictly business. Even when the girls were pressuring them to get a dance he always defelected them off onto on of his guests. Your husband probably didn't want to tell you about this because he didn't want you to feel hurt or bad about yourself. My wife blamed herself for me going to clubs and develeoped a severe problem regarding her self confidence and self worth. Several years of therapy later and she's lots better. I've curtailed my clubbing but it remains something I don't ever bring up. If your relationship is as strong as you imply, I would drop this and focus on your relationship and your new family. Don't obsess over something and have it ruin something great.

Their out of work musician boyfriends might actually have to get jobs. As much as you think this could happen, it never would because we are of course male.

Initially I like to sit at a table that is in the path of the girls from their dressing room to the floor. It provides a parade of T+A and allows me to take inventory on the club. When I go up tot he stage to tip someone it makes the girls seem like I'm making an effort to do so and not just sitting there tipping out of obligation. When they get off stage and cruise from the dressing room to the floor my table is typically the first one they pass. If I'm interested in a lapdance they're usually ready to go and also its the longest time they have between their next set on stage.
