Strippers' worst nightmare :(

Thursday, October 18, 2007 7:12 PM
What do you think would happen to the strippers if all of a sudden men would stop going to strip clubs?! Imagine your fav club empty, not a single customer, your cell phone is going crazy with calls and text messages inviting you in, meanwhile you are completely obliviant and happy with a new things in life. Night after night after night, girls have no regulars to give their SS to, no PLs or PIL to mess with. Meanwhile, thier rent and bills are past due. Some need to get their next fix. And there are thousands of them out there! Yeah, that would teach them, LOL. But no, we are too kind to do that to them, aren't we?

They might actually have to go to school instead of saying they go to school. :-)

Their out of work musician boyfriends might actually have to get jobs. As much as you think this could happen, it never would because we are of course male.

That's exactly what is going to happen in Saint Ohio!

Bones, Ill bet that the downturn in OH is temporary. Clubs and customers will adjust. Other areas have similar restrictions and clubs do just fine.

Bones: FONDL is right. The same applies at my favorite club. "6 ft rule" etc. Just like Memphis. Rules were ment to be broken and will be at strip clubs UFN. The key word is discretion. I and trogangreg have seen changes in the Atlanta scene during the last year. Less air. More contact. The Olympics are gone. Hotlanta may be coming back.

Most of these dancers who are one point have had the cash rolling-in are incapable of doing real work, yet most get addicted to the lifestyle such cash produces - so the only step is to move into escorting on a larger scale Already in the northeast USA in certain locales, one is increasingly starting to see dancers pitching the idea to certain select clients of more extensive and ongoing OTC special arrangements, the idea being that certain sugar daddy types can makeup for expected monthly cash shortfalls Dancing is to some degree a lower form of whoring anyways, so taking the next step is really not that difficult

Well, Columbus clubs haven't been all that HOT with dancers and mileage anyway. All I can hope for is that Bugsy's Speakeasy (the bikini club) in Elyria, Ohio will still be willing to support my SC habit!!! My mastercard company knows of the club real well! :-)

Well it's been a few weeks since the last time I saw any of my favorites. I visited the strip clubs in that time too. Won't be going to the same ones now as much anymore so there's even less chance they will see me. The club wasn't even as crowded as normal. I'm saving money that I had originally intended to spend. There are a lot of other things I could spend it on though. I do know where one favorite is at and she will be back in December I believe. I'm not calling her anymore though. In my situation, I will not be visiting the club as much any more and could stop. If other regulars are doing the same thing, if the favorites took a month or two off, they may find an empty club when they come back. I think it's already happening at least in one club.

I agree that a "work ethic" is a foreign idea to a lot of strippers, that's why I really appreciate the ones who have it. I'd go a little further however. Where strippers want to be paid $300+ per night for partying or doing next to nothing I think most young people have virtually no work ethic anymore. I agree strippers are probably at the extreme end, but have any of the other geezers noticed how few teenage kids work anymore, and how absolutely incompetent the ones who do are? As for moving into escorting or going higher mileage I think that more than the economy that is due to much looser moral standards in society. It's now cool to act like a slut, so where is the incentive not to go into a cash rich environment and act like a slut?

"What do you think would happen to the strippers if all of a sudden men would stop going to strip clubs?!" Simple. I'd request more hours at my other job (bartending) and commence my graduate studies sooner than planned. Meanwhile, I might look for some menial and flexible side work for which my current degree level qualifies me, and in which I already have some experience (such as freelance copyediting/copywriting), in order to generate some extra cash.
