Leading a Dual Life
Clubbing is fantasy not reality...in my case anyway. Where else are you gonna go and develop an intimate relationship with a woman that quickly. For strippers this is a volume business, so it makes sense to be as friendly and outgoing as possible. I've talked to family members and friends about the occasional trip, but I've never told them the actual frequency of my visits or everything that happens. They simply wouldn't understand. Luckily they've never asked so I guess I've never lied about it either.

What do you think customers do that irritates dancers the most?
Yeah I have to agree on the chat thing. I think the dancer gernerally controls the length of the chat (if it even happens at all). I've had plenty of dancers sit and chat only to find that their dance wasn't what I was looking for. But I would guess the unwanted groping thing would be the biggest peeve.

Agree or disagree? the level of physical attraction we feel is determined by..
I can see an attractive woman on stage and be turned off if she has a hairdo that dates back a couple of decades. 20 years ago I might have found her really hot. Can my primitive brain be all that primitive if my tastes change and evolve?

Lap Dances, don't they get old?
It all depends on the dancer. Assuming she's attractive, if she's really into it and puts on a good show she can keep me entertained for a while. If she's simply performing a repetitive act, yes it can get pretty boring very quickly...irregardless of how hot she is.

How much did it cost?
I hear what you're saying, and I appreciate the services provided by members who have been forthcoming. In Atlanta, I generally have a better time with the amount of $$$ spent (yes I've paid for VIP's). We all know that you aren't gonna get Platinum Plus mileage for just 20 bucks. I'd feel more inclined to give more info if the local authorities weren't such dicks. Paranoid, maybe, but I remember what happened to the Gold Club and the Taj Mahal. That's the last thing I want to happen to the clubs that are left. I just wonder what my experiences would have been if I had my present salary 10 years ago. Besides, these days 75% of my time in clubs are devoted to my favs...and I don't ask for the things that most guys are looking for. It's f'd up I know.

Why do we get so attached?
What's not to like? Where else can you go from a casual greeting to seeing her naked within minutes? And it's easy (albeit expensive). With a few bucks (sometimes hundreds) you can obtain the undivided attention of a goddess who is generally in a playful mood and is all too willing to stroke our egos -- among other things. She laughs at our jokes and is always interested in what we have to say.

Do Club Owners Monitor (and learn) from TUSCL?
I've never had the opportunity to meet one. At my favorite club, everybody hates it when he drops by...it's like Dad is home so all the dancers get real frigid. That motherf***** needs to keep his a** at home. Otherwise I think he does a pretty decent job considering his circumstances.

Group says it has signatures to force vote on [Ohio] strip club law
I've been noticing a number of dancers from Ohio in ATL lately. I didn't ask, but I wonder if it's related to this. Anyone else notice a mass migration of strippers from the buckeye state?

the little things
Eye contact. I've had plenty of beautiful dancers sit in my lap and grind, grab, rub, etc. But years ago there was one dancer from Iowa who basically raised the bar for all dancers afterwards. I saw her on stage and found her absolutely stunning (I mean exotic Brazillian model stunning). Come to think of it, she was in Maxim once. Later on the couch, this girl just rocked my world for hours. I just couldn't get over how she would look into my eyes with this seductive "I'm gonna f*** the hell out of you" look. I don't know if it was just a learned skill or self confidence, but she truly personalized the experience. Since then, I can't stand dancers who just go through the motions or spend 90% of the time checking themselves out in the mirror. My current favs make good eye contact too, but it's different with them. It's not just some fabricated act, but it feels more intimate. The best way I can describe it is they just look happy and are into the moment with you. Oh and uh, perfect breasts and gravity-defying asses also help too.

Shift Changes suck
A couple of girls had their claws in me in the VIP once. Remember that scene in Bram Stokers Dracula where Keanu was just immersed in hot ass vampires and he couldn't get away? Well, luckily the shift change started and my ladies had to take off. I think I sat there for a while for Lil Jr to cool down! At least my wallet was grateful.

Celebs In The Club
The dancers I talked to weren't all that crazy about celebs. They generally expect a lot without paying since they're usually on the receiving end of "comps" wherever they go. I guess to a celeb, why should strip clubs be any different?

Should I let her go
I love my favs. I love seeing them light up when they see me, joking around, talking, ...the dances are almost secondary with them. But I know that they're on the clock. As attached as I am to them, ultimately it's still a business relationship at the core of it. Don't get too attached (at least that's what I keep telling myself).

If I knew every guy that a dancer met would treat her as well as I treat dancers, then I might have a different opinion. I know of too many assholes though.

BOOTY CLUBS IN ATLANTA
The Cheetah will have maybe 2 black dancers on any given night. As a matter of fact, I don't think I've ever seen an unattractive black woman there. Hassle is very low there too.

Massages vs Lap Dances
Actually, I love a good massage...but for a masseuse to replace a stripper she would have to be fun to be around as well as reasonably hot.

If you care about her you'll tell her to find another way. I know dancers that I really care about who tell me some of the crummy things they have to put up with. It makes me sick and we're only "friends". There's no way I could let a relative get into this.

What Do You Say To A "Lady" ??
Lol. Man you need to hit that! At the very least you'll have a pretty interesting tale for the grandkids...well I mean with another woman of course because this chick probably does have a "tuck job".

Hooters
For those of you that think Hooters is a silly idea, then yeah, you probably shouldn't go. It's kind of like "strip club lite", where you want to see cute chicks without having to deal with bouncers, constant tipping, police raids, etc. However, not all Hooters are created equal. If you're fortunate enough to live in the Atlanta area, you can usually see some pretty good talent. If you live in a smaller town, it can be very Denny-ish. When I used to go regularly, I was fortunate enough to have a regular Hooters girl who was hot and great to talk to. I always tipped her very well, but nowhere near the expense involved with visiting a favorite dancer.

Road trip through Ky
I really don't know how to recommend a strip club to a woman, I just know how I see things through my creepy, peverted male point-of-view...kinda' hard to see how a woman can relate, even if she's in the biz. Nonetheless, the Deja Vu in Lexington is ok...actually there was a blonde there that made the place amazing for me...but the club itself is just ok. Stay away from the Holiday Inn on that side of town...think "The Shining" except not as pleasant. In Louisville, I'd have to recommend Trixie's. No booze but there's a bar next door for that. I haven't been there in years, but they had a "menu" that suggested some pretty interesting things to see. The club was touch-n-go though. Have fun!

Slow times?
In Atlanta, the crowds are there but they aren't spending as much. I thought it more had to do with clubs closing and management feeling the need to be more cautious about what's allowed.

Taboo Subjects for Strippers?
Religion came up once as a related subject to another topic. I'd never start off a conversation that way. The fav that I was talking to is a rather intelligent gal, and our converstions tend to get a little deep. Her "hotness" tends to keep things on an even keel though. It doesn't take much to go from intellectual to horn dog around her.

Taboo Subjects for Strippers?
Hmmm. Don't talk badly about other strippers unless she brings it up. I personally try not to get into their home life unless she brings it up too. Religion is probably a no-no. I think I'm comfortable enough with my favs that we can talk about almost anything because there's a mutual trust there...neither party is looking to hurt the other.
