Shadowcat just posted on PP - Columbia and said that they have adopted the policy of bouncers escorting dancers back to get dances, so I would assume this is standard operating procedures in Greenville, since this is where it all started. Looks like I will have to find new stomping grounds, if this is the case.

I have the same attitude as azdd - every ROB I have ever encountered doesn't last very long. I remember one afternoon, sitting at a table and a guy I had never met before sat down and told me to watch out for a dancer who was working that day. I watched as he went to very table in the place and told every guy how she tried to rip him off - now that is how you out a ROB. Sure enough, the ROB came by asking if I wanted a dance. Not I or any other guy in the place took her up on it.

As a long time patron of the club, I have found it rare that a dancer was too blatant (other than the Memphis girls, but they are all gone by now). Most would be pretty non-committal about describing what could be "had" in the couch room or champaign room. I suspect it was complaints from the church people made it's way to some higher up in the Greenville County Sheriffs Dept. as Sharkhunter suggests. Lets just hope it blows over - so far I haven't been able to find out much through my deputy connections but am still on the case.

I drove by today (Sunday) at 1:00 PM and there were only two cars in the parking lot. Narcotics makes more sense - the prostitution rap is just to pander to the "moral police" and make them feel like they are putting a stop to immoral behavior.

I used to call that the "Memphis handshake" because when they shut down the Platinum Plus in Memphis it seemed like all the gals who moved to Greenville greeted me that way. Most if not all of those dancers have since left Greenville. Since then, only a few have done the Memphis handshake, but they have been dancers I would not be interested in.

I agree - this was not what I would expect if they were trying to catch someone in the act - I wonder if they have other evidence that they are not sharing about other activity going on in the place. They may also have sent in undercover officers that collected offers for extras and the "raid" was just to get the case to court. I know a few Greenville county deputies and I'll see if they will offer any information.

I agree with Impala - Platinum is a highly visible club that can be seen as you drive into Greenville on Rt. 385 coming up from Columbia and other points south. You would think that it has been on the radar of the "morality police" for some time. There is probably more to the story. i'm watching the local news to see if they report more information

I was at Platinum earlier this week and asked the waitress why it was so dead - only 5 - 6 dancers around and she said most were at the funeral.

While riding a train from Madrid to Malaga I saw some people walking on a similar path across the gorge on the side of a mountain - it might have been the same path - and I wondered what would make someone want to do that.

I always ask for the volume discount and most dancers are good with it. If they are not I wait for one that is.

I would suggest khaki or Dockers rather than jeans if you want maximum grindage (most dancers I know say that jeans are too abrasive). Also, most of the dancers I know are a bit insulted if you don't get a hard-on while they are lap dancing, especially in a high mileage place.

Soft, loose clothes with silk boxers. I did have a favorite dancer say that she never approaches guys in shorts because they are "pervs".

I always get high before clubbing and find the pot enhances all sensations. I will admit that I always go to the same club, and am comfortable in familiar surroundings, so that would be my only caveat.

This story is probably being spun by the anti-pot people who are pissed that the state of Washington has legalized it.

I doubt that anyone who was famous or high-profile would want to divulge that information, but I am sure we are all legends in our own minds….

Shadow, I have been using the androgel1.62% for the past 5 years and swear by it. I also exercise 5 days a week (lifting and cardio) as part of my job (Personal Trainer) at age 62. I hold a PhD in Human Physiology, so I researched this before I committed. My doctor monitors my PSA, cholesterol, liver enzymes, etc. every 6 months and so far no problems. I never have to get up and piss in the middle of the night so I know that I don't suffer from even benign prostate issues (which is a potential side effect). On the plus side I have lost body fat, added lean muscle (benched 350 at a body weight of 205), definitely see a boost in my sex drive, etc. YMMV but this is what I have experienced. There are people who are termed "non-responders" in any treatment so I do not claim that your experience would be the same as mine, but I am definitely a responder.
