I love to smoke weed before I go out - especially a sativa that gives one a great body high.

According to most of the reviews I have read, the state of South Carolina is cracking down everywhere. Even Myrtle Beach clubs have been affected. The religous folks want to force their morality on everyone, but I'm sure that once it starts to have an economic impact they will relent (especially in places like Myrtle Beach). For now, the clubs in SC suck compared to past standards.

I plan to take one for the team and go this week, just to see what is up.

Yes, every time I drive past PP in Greenville it looks like an abandoned building. Still has bits of yellow police crime scene tape in the parking lot. I also noticed Trophy Club Changed their name to "Scores" - apparently taken over by a new company. I just hope the PP situation doesn't embolden the "morality police" from going after every other club in town.

Good update Cat - I am sure that it will be the death of PP as we knew it. I just hope they don't go after the other clubs in the area.

I only review a club if I can update information. Some reviews are positive and some are negative.

Early 70's I was in college and a topless dancer bar opened up in a nearby town. Back then there were no private dances of any type, just a girl dancing on stage topless. I still thought it was pretty cool. Through the years I witness the evolution of the strip club. In 1981 went to a club in Montreal and saw my 1st table side dance; a few years later went to a club in Raleigh NC where for a dollar the stripper on stage would come over and DFK you. Later in Charlotte NC I experienced my 1st lap dance and I was hooked.

With enough gold I can get the pussy and even if she refuses I can get different pussy that is probably just as good. Gold is valuable because of its rarity pussy is pussy.

Yes, the "moral police" know they on the verge of running PP off and putting all the other clubs on notice, so I fear the worse. Perhaps it was the high profile of PP viewable from I-385 as you enter the city that led to it's ultimate demise. Perhaps it was the fairly recent high profile trouble of shootings and bouncers causing the death of a customer during an altercation. Either way the culture of strip clubs will go the way of other cities that were once wide open and now will not be so good. I for one, don't think I can go back to air dances and minimal contact.

Yes, I was thinking of Trophy Club as well - just concerned that the PP bust would make everyone paranoid and mileage would be low. I guess the only recourse is to give it a try.

The prosecution recently claimed they have dancers who have witnessed these lewd acts and are willing to testify. They are probably copping a plea so they don't get busted for income tax evasion mentioned earlier in this thread. This totally sucks for those of us who called PP our home club.

When to PP yesterday afternoon and it was dead - a handful of dancers and customers. I didn't even bother to get a dance because I could tell the vibe just wasn't good.

I hope you are right JS69 - this thing has been in the local news so many times these past weeks that I fear public pressure will make the judge expedite the case for a temporary closing.

I plan to go by tomorrow afternoon to do a little recon. It might be the last time the club is open. The decision goes down on Wednesday.

I might try to get over there before Wednesday just to do some recon. It may be my last visit if they end up closing the place down. There are a lot of guys like me who will miss the place if they do close it.

I consider myself a christian but don't go to churn and believe "hell" is just a punishment conceived by men who wished to control people with fear. I also believe that any act between two consenting adults is not a sin. I wish I lived in a place that believed that same thing (South Carolina - the buckle of the bible belt.)

I always say I am waiting for someone, and since I usually do an afternoon visit (which in my favorite club means regulars hooking up with dancers), the dancer usually moves on. If the dancer asks who I am waiting for I usually say "I'd rather not say". Some accept this while others take some sort of offense to it. I had one gal who recently said "well it doesn't matter if you tell me or not, sooner or later I'll find out". My response was "Look, I come here to meet up with certain dancers and have a good time. I don't come her to be interrogated" - needly to say she stomped off in a huff, but at least she quit bothering me.

The news this morning said that the solicitor has video evidence of illegal sex acts. Makes you wonder how they got that, but I guess the technology is available to hide cameras anywhere. The state is seeking a temporary closing while the litigation continues. Even if they don't get closed down, things won't be the same for a while.

I have ben smoking pot since 1970's - I hold 2 masters degrees and a PhD and am highly successful in my business. Am I a pothead? OK, I probably am, but I do use it responsibly - never drive under the influence and only get high after the work I must do is done. Just like someone who enjoys drinking alcohol, one can do so in a responsible way.

To answer Papi's question, the PP Club is located right within view of traffic on I-385 a main artery into the city of Greenville from all points south such as Columbia, the state capital. I would guess that not only is it prime real estate property, but is probably rankles the "morality police" that many people see it as they enter our city. As to the question of "why now", my itel suggests that up to this point a group of Greenville County Sheriff Deputies had a business that cleaned the carpets there and would offer the added service of tipping off the management of any vice raids. Apparently the group got busted and PP was left exposed. I fear the worse unless someone pays someone off at a higher level.
