    Define "regular".
clubber: Are you sure dancers are club employees ? In most cases, dancers are "independent contractors." Hey, I can be a pedant too. Your opening definition sentence should have read- "A regular is known by dancers and club employees."

gmd- I'd say that you came up with a good empirical definition of "regular". If you haven't submitted this to founder, I'd say that he'd likely accept it and post it. Still, I think that clubbers standards as being recognized by key employees (and I might add at least some dancers) might qualify one as a honorary regular. Lets say that over the course of 2-5 years, you make 6-10 business trips per year to a particular city visiting Club XXX each trip, with a vacation or 2 thrown in. I was in the spot several times, being instantly recognized in some clubs.

    Newbie stripper - extras?
shadowcat: Reading about a dancer making a lot of $$ w/o performing extras is like reading about a guy owning a 400 HP plus sports car saying that he observes the speed limit at all times. I'm waiting for a new stripper to come here saying that she's stripping her way to a Masters Degree in Psychology. She creates an elaborate sexual/stripclub attitude survey ala the gent from Richmond. Says she'll use that as a basis for her upcoming thesis paper. Sarcasm aside, OP should know that this is a stripclub review site. The serious contributors to DB constitute a VERY small percentage of reviewers. Yet OP appears concerned about how much longer she can continue to make good money doing what she does. The real situation likely falls somewhere between outright alarm, and "don't worry" approach. While tuscl extra seekers may be in the minority, the DB contributors likely visit clubs more often (and spend more $$) than most reviewers, maybe greater than 10 times more than a lot of patrons. So, if hardcore extras seekers constitute 5% of total clubgoers, their much greater level of patronage means that OP may encounter extras seekers ~ 50% of time. Actually, OP has (or should have) a better idea than we do of how rampant extras seekers are. Tuscler only knows what he(she) and maybe a handful of buds want. OP working 2-5 shifts per week encounters far more customers than we do, so has a larger handle on club patron tastes. (I very rarely strike up conversation with other club patrons.)

    Lesbian strippers
How can you tell when a stripper is lying ? Whevever her lips move... One club I've gone to several times has a website with dancer profiles/pics. One item in profile is sexual prefernce. By a ~55/45 ratio, most dancers were straight, rest "bi", none lesbians. I'm skeptical on the later. IMO, dancers are in this as a business of sorts. Since a vast majority of customers (online, and in the club) are straight males, virtually no dancer would admit to being a lesbian for fear of alienating potential customers. Probably more than a few dancers who listed themselves as "straight" did so under the presumption that some customers would think that one listing themselves as "bi" is a copout for a dancer not wanting to publicly list as lesbian. IME, I take this with a grain of salt as I've encountered roughly equal proportions of (uninhibited, stuck up, nice/engaging, put offish) dancers of either sexual preference. I've seen dancers listing themselves as straight take couples back to VIP. I've also seen dancers listing themselves as "bi" eagerly approach male patrons (solo, and groups.)

You, My Dear, Are No Porn Star
Would being listed on www.iafd.com website be enough to qualify as a "porn star"? "Porn Actress", maybe ? I've met ~ 8 house dancers who are on there, making anywhere from a few to dozens of flicks. Number of films made didn't always correspond with how good they were in the club.

I've met lopaw at 2 different L.A. area clubs- she's the real deal. I've also met a dancer who posted a review but did not participate on DB.

    Suggesting OTC
Several posters have said that OTC for them happens when dancer has some regular consistent familiarity with you.(probably hometown, or reasonably close club.) Yet there is a flipside to this, as some dancers don't want someone too regular, due to potential for stalking/clinginess issues. They may feel more comfortable with the out of town businessman who might make 3-6 trips/year there, vs a local living there year round. A crapshoot either way.

Dancers than don't hustle in the club ... is there more than meets the eye ?
I've wondered the same thing myself. One of the laws of nature seems to be that the dancers that you'd dearly love to buy dances/VIP's from either disappear to the dressing room, or park themselves at a table with a (seemingly) non-spending patron. (No, Rick, they're not wearing a suit. Yes, I'm conidering the possibility that she may be angling for OTC, or that casually dressed whales exist). Meanwhile, you're incessantly approached by those who you'd rather not be approached by, or the "meh" genre of dancer. I haven't delved too deeply into research on "non-hustlers" as I focus my attention on finding dancers who will satisfy my sweet spot.

Is it wrong for Dennis Rodman to go to North Korea?
    1) Dennis Rodman and bad taste go hand in hand. 2) The concept of Dennis Rodman legitimizing anything is laughable.

    Mayor
    1) Captain John Yossarian 2) Major Major Major Major My rationale for choosing these 2 stems from the fact that neither of these 2 individuals (fictional characters in "Catch 22") wanted their particular job. The scenes where Yossarian asks the doctor to ground him, and Maj. Major sneaks out the back window of his office when someone comes in to see him are classics.

    Regretting Money Spent
Like many, I have experienced buyers remorse from time to time. I don't dwell on it too much. When I do get introspective, I tend to think more in terms of "I could have spent time/$$ on dancer B or Club XX instead of the one that I spent time/$$ on.

    RIP: Larry Lujack
Although Larry Lujack somehow escaped my radar, I definitely recall 890 WLS, and how impressed I was to be able to pick it up from great distances at night. The farthest for me was Daytona Beach, a wow for the poster who picked it up in CA. Some other powerful AM stations include(d) 700 WLW Cincinnati, 770 WABC New York, a couple of 600ish stations in CA. I don't recall the identifier, but there's a 740 station out of Totonto, I think, that can be picked up fairly good at night in SW ohio.

B & C. For a take home cash option payout of ~ $150M - $180M (Cash option value $295.6M), I don't need no stinking rules. That portfolio should easily earn 7 figures in interest & dividends. Golden Rule; He (or she for lopaw) who has the gold makes the rules.

+1 on shadowcat sentiments. It is all too easy amoung all the noise on the board to miss a solid contributor who isn't a drama queen. I also wonder how that guy in Houston is doing who apparently got in a bad accident a couple of years ago.

O.T. - The Car Chase From 'Bullitt'
Fellas, it isn't all about HP. Weight:HP ratio is the player here. According to my Yahoo search, Curb weight for 1968 Hemi Charger is 4300 lbs, for Mustang GT, 3300 lbs. That works out to a Wt.:HP ratio of 10.15 for the Mustang, 11.46 for the Charger. Like golf scores, the lower the better. Don't forget the extra weight of 2 bad guys in the Charger vs. just Steve McQueen in the Mustang. So, I could buy a Mustang catching a heavier Hemi. Art, Hollywood could make a jackass catch a racehorse if it wanted to.

I seem to recall reading somewhere (here, or other similar site) where the ideal age of a woman for a guy is half his age plus 7 years. So for rick, ideal age for his fave OTC romps would be 28.5. As for lopaw, I trust that she'll eagerly conduct her studies to come up with an ideal age for lesbian partner(s).

The Stripper With A Bad Case Of Bacne
Slick: Are you sure they were zits? On 2 different dancers in recent years, I've seen embedded/studded jewelry on their backs- a dozen pieces or more. On 2 other dancers, I've seen a single pierced jewel in the spine/small of her back area. You might have been popping some pricey jewelry there, Slick.
