I had a dancer in Tampa give me the porn star line. I looked her up and in fact she had done some from films. I declined. Most girls at my local clubs were hotter than she was.

With the amount of amateur videos out on the Internet now, and web cams, there a whole ton of girls out there who probably call themselves "porn stars."

Another way to differentiate a porn "star" from just an "actress" might be the number of films she's made. I won't attempt to suggest a number that makes that distinction.

My luck has been 100% in that area. I've met five strippers who told me they were porn starts. When I went to look them up on line, sure enough--all five checked out. And I met one more, whom I already recognized as a porn actress/star wheb I first saw her in her club. There's a seventh, here in Seattle, that I haven't gotten to yet.

I remember at age 19 (yup late bloomer I was) whenever I could chance it, stay up late, etc, I would watch Beverly Hills Bordello. During that time, I thought I had the up on many people because I was watching non PPV porn. Could we consider Beverly hills Bordello a porn series? Are the actresses there porn stars (even if the shaft and the box is cleverly covered)

It's funny that enough strippers use that line. It's not like it's that difficult to fuck a porn star. This isn't the 90's or early 2000's. You'd figure that some of theses strippers would know about Eros, TER, Cityvibe, etc., etc. Access to porn stars is relatively easy.

The USA could be renamed the USOM (United States of Overreaching Marketing). Why do we panty bunch so much about stripper overreaching marketing in particular?

Would being listed on iafd.com website be enough to qualify as a "porn star"? "Porn Actress", maybe ? I've met ~ 8 house dancers who are on there, making anywhere from a few to dozens of flicks. Number of films made didn't always correspond with how good they were in the club.

About a year ago at Platinum Plus in Columbia I met one that said that she was going to make her first porno the next day and wanted to practice on me. ITC or OTC. She was about a 6, so I passed.

Isn't Porn Star just the generic name. I don't think the start out as a porn associate.

I get that line quite a bit, which I find weird. Only once did it actually check out, and that was a girl who IAFD credits with only one porno. But this was a girl at a nonextras club, so I didn't fuck her. I would have enjoyed her, but it just wasn't going to happen.

I have had that line or similar used a few times. Most of the time I just say a simple "yep" which then throws them out of their rhythm. As Capt Dan said I looked a few of the names that the dancers gave me up and could usually find them online, usually at an amateur porn site.
