> I've only been offered FS OTC once in the US. But that's offered pretty frequently at the Brass Rail in Toronto.
If you think it's frequent at BR, try Zanzibar.

Rare for me in the US (in an extras uncommon area). Every time it has been the first time I've seen her, and all but one time it was not a girl who regularly danced at that club (travel dancer). In Canada, quite frequent.

I gotta ask ... "DMV"? Maybe DC/Maryland/Virginia? I lived outside Baltimore in the late 80s and don't recall this acronym, but you all seem to recognize it.

Keep it in my pants when I do OTC. If I were a stripper it would stand for I like big bucks and I can not lie.
A couple of times I have been talked into it, but they have not been good. Now, several times I've had a dancer recommend another to me, who I would not otherwise have entertained, and those have turned out good.

> A brief recent CF really liked having her ass slapped. HARD. In VIP. At the stage. Sitting on my lap at the table. But only by permission. She would yell 'harder" in front of the whole club until I made it SMACK, and she got off on how I disliked the attention.
Once knew a dancer who, in the lap dance area, demanded to be spanked as hard as humanly possible. This area was just chairs separated by curtains, so others in the area could certainly hear and know what was happening, as could the gatekeeper and a few nearby tables. But no one ever interfered. My hand would hurt ... She never asked for it on stage or in the "public" area though.
Haven't encountered the choking thing yet.

I think it's fine to ask. Some will tell you, some won't. Some that do and say yes if you ask for a certain name will be lying, thinking why give the customer an excuse to NOT come in? Not concerned with keeping the good will of a PL. Some will be telling the truth as they know it, but then the dancer will flake on them and not come in. Some clubs post a lineup on social media, but usually too late in the night to be of help to me (having to schedule Lyft an hour ahead around here due to lack of drivers and living out in the boonies).

"rate of speed". The term "speed" is already a rate (distance over time). So "rate of speed", if it were to mean anything at all, would mean "acceleration". But people use it to mean simply "speed".

Dances are only $20 standard in NYC? Gotta say that surprises the hell out of me. Whenever I've been there everything right down to a burger and a Coke has been _more_ expensive than elsewhere (except airports, they're worse). My area is the opposite of a metropolis and dances are $25-30.
Tipping gets me remembered. My personality alone doesn't. They allow me to be a little more handsy.

Less clubbing, more escorts. Also home/appliance repairs when I no longer have a salary (retired) have become a concern.

I can't recall the last time I watched a SB halftime show. Kinda remember one with two middle-aged women being on in the background but even then I didn't have the sound on. The really ancient rockers, that's my "jam".

I love my Tesla. Great acceleration, free Supercharging for life (bought 8 years ago), almost nothing ever goes wrong with it (a parking sensor, a door handle). It's true that it has 30% less range in the winter. It does burn through tires quicker. At home, our grid is about 1/3 hydro, 1/3 nuke, 1/3 coal, so yeah charging here does still use a little fossil fuel. I took a trip 800+ miles each way through the mid-east US to North Carolina, and had no issues finding or using Tesla Superchargers along the way, mostly at convenience stores I'd never heard of (Sheetz? Buckees?). For fun I looked up the composition of the grid at some of them, and it was a surprise to me that the one in NC was 90+% nuke rather than 100% coal. I used a site called evtripplanner to plan my charging stops on the trip.
It's my only car. I drive it in the winter, in blizzards, on trips, everything.
The experience may indeed be quite different for an EV which can't use Tesla chargers. Musk was fairly clever about this, getting early adopters to pay a big premium for the car in order to fund the charging network. Other auto manufacturers buried their heads in the sand and now don't have a charging network.
However, never believe any time estimate from Musk. Robotaxis might happen *someday* - or not - but I would be quite surprised if it happened within 18 months.
I love EVs, but I don't believe in government mandates. As far as I'm concerned, if you like your ICE then keep using it. Unfortunately they haven't made me Emperor, so the laws are what they are rather than what I think they ought to be.
Politicians and their lackeys being what they are, I'm not surprised at the tone deafness of one of them blocking a charger during a road trip to promote EVs.

I liked it. I especially enjoyed how they presented both sides of the old feud. And Danny's wife is hotter than his daughter.

Nothing bad but it has happened a few times. The town isn't that big, and a lot of people like outdoor music festivals. Just head nods.

It is a waste of money but I've done it occasionally as a treat for a dancer.

I don't have a problem with a 20% tip, but when one bottle is $450+ it gets to be a ridiculous amount for two minutes' work. I think there has to be some kind of 'tip cap' for the waitress/bartender. (Of course I don't mean legally, I mean as part of our voluntary custom)

Watching a game on TV as I write this. I still enjoy it. I know I can't change the behavior of the players. It's just the way young people are these days.

I just want to say what we're discussing here is NYC. The rest of NYS is nothing like NYC financially. "NY" is ambiguous.

I was in school at the time, and Boston was huge. I don't recall whether I bought their records through Columbia House or BMG :-) I never bought anything later than their first two though.
My tastes are kind of opposite of shailynn. Boston/Kansas/Styx/some REO still great. I've been to Kansas and Styx concerts within the past 5 years, though of course not all original members. BOC too. Collins was way overplayed at the time, I got incredibly sick of hearing "Phil Fucking Collins" as I called him. Plant/Gabriel ho hum, Police ugh. Foreigner was big here partly because Lou Gramm was from nearby.

> Usually you go to a lapdance room attendant, say βI want 4 dancesβ and you hand him $100 (say dances are $25 each) then go back to the LD area. If you want more dances you have to stop and go pay the asshole again.
That's every club around here. You pay the attendant/bartender/bouncer, they give the dancer their cut right there. We used to have a post-pay club. There were sometimes disagreements about the count. I don't know how the club got their right cut - not my business to know. I miss that place for several reasons. But I suppose having to declare a limit up front has saved me some money.

> Do you want to see her energy on stage?
Yes. I figure if she's lazy on stage she'll be lazy in back. Not always true of course, but it's the only evidence I've got. If a dancer doesn't go on stage (whether her choice or too many dancers at the moment), no VIP. Around here VIP means just private lap dance area, not even an actual room just a tiny curtained area with something to sit on, with very little chance of extras.
