Ever get recognized by a dancer outside of the club?

I've been doing this long enough, it was bound to happen.

Was out for an evening with the girlfriend. We'd had dinner and a few drinks. Stopped for one last drink at a little spot near the hotel. Sitting at the bar when I saw one of the strippers I'd seen semi regularly over the past year settle into the booth behind us. She made eye contact and smiled at me. Thankfully she didn't come over.
I texted her later that night and she was cool about it.

Made me think how this could have gone sideways.

Anyone have a bad real life out of the club encounter?

As a dancer, I’ve seen a few club customers in the real world. One guy at a burrito spot. he was with a male friend. I would not have went over and said hi to be awkward, but if he looked my way I would have smiled.

Another instance… I’ve seen the same regular, 3 times. Once at a concert but I was on a date. He just gave a head nod and i smiled. The other two times we talked, just because life is funny and we weren’t on dates or anything! 😅

I've never had this happen but I assume most dancers would have the sense to be discrete.

@caseyx that's a bit of an assumption for dancers to have sense.

Many years ago, I was at the booth for my company at a job fair. A dancer I'd visited several times walked up to the booth to talk about jobs. She looked at me, blinked hard, shrugged, and walked away.

I guess there's a chance something like this could go sideways, but most dancers also don't want an awkward encounter. The possibility of an encounter outside the club is also an added reason to treat dancers nicely in the club.

It's happened to me. Both girl and I refrained from speaking or acknowledging each other. We just talked about it the next time we saw each other.

They sometimes have as much to lose as us. Of course, it could very easily go sideways really fast.

    Kind of bad.

I was waiting in line at a local fast food place. I got my order and sat down in a booth. A girl who was also in line immediately came over, sat down opposite me and said, "Don't you remember me?" She then mentioned that she danced for me at the club that evening, but couldn't stay to chat because she was in a hurry and was just getting some food to go. As she got up to leave, she asked if I would pay for her food. I said, "Yes, but not if you leave." She then mouthed the words, "Fuck You" and walked away.

Imagine if your SO was away at the restroom which or she was sitting near you. Would have been a shxxstorm.

Entitled little bitch....expecting you to pay for her food just because she exists. Your response to her request was perfect.

Perfect answer @WiseToo. The nerve of that chick to ask you that. But I know a bunch of dudes would have paid because they just didn’t want any problems or wanted to make friends with the girl.

I ran into a legendary dancer of the Seattle circuit at a swingers club here on two different occasions. Both times, She was with some dude that must be her cuck I imagine. Both times, she gave me a quick look and then kinda shook her head “no” as if to let me know not to acknowledge her. I obliged, not aware of who this dude she was with might be.

Next time I saw her at her home club she said that the dude paid her to attend these events with her.

Had one that cut my hair at a chain a couple of times.

I was checking out at the grocery store and when I went to pay I noticed the woman behind me was a stripper I had dance for me and more a few times. I did not acknowledge her and she did not seem to notice me. I use my middle name in clubs. As I was leaving she called out "See you Saturday <name goes here>" using my first name.

I realized she had looked at my credit card as I checked out.

The club was shut down a couple of weeks later and I never saw her again.

It has never happened to me in my home town because I live 30-60 minutes away from the clubs that I go to but it used to happened to me quite frequently when I used to drive to Columbia SC to visit the Platinum Plus there. I ran into them at the hotel just 2 blocks from the club where a lot of the out of town dancers stayed. Some times never made it to the club. It was your room or mine?

Also there was a Waffle house 2 blocks from the club. The club did not serve food and the Waffle house was the closest place you could get some thing to eat.. I can member one joining me at my bar stool while she waited for her to go order. On the other end one with her significant other walked past giving me the don't speak look. Which was always my policy when meeting dancers randomly OTC. Always let them make the first move.

My favorite story was when I ran into the dancer(TUSCL gridget) that became my ATF. I ran into her at the IHOP in Columbia SC and she was with her husband that she divorced about a year later. They sat in a booth down from mine. his back was to me but she looked right at me and waved. Every time I looked her way she smiled back. As they were leaving she waved again.

Later that day at the club I tried to tell several dancers about my chance meting with my ATF but they had already heard it from her. later when she joined me I asked what she told her husband about me and she simply told him that I was one of the good customers at the club.

Yes - a few times. I wish I had some story to tell but they just pretended not to see me and I did the same.

I ran into the hottest, sexiest dancer I ever knew, a easy 9, less than week after I had the best private dance in my life with her - on the first night I met her. We really hit it off and had what I perceived as great sexual chemistry. She was probably a good actor but she claimed to be very sexually attracted to me and had a lot of very nice things to say that her body and wet pussy confirmed. She was a Playboy cyber girl and her nude pictures can be found on line. (She still looks great today - about 15 years later.)

When I ran into her she was at my local supermarket with an elderly woman (mother or grandmother). I saw her, she saw me, but no acknowledgement.
It turned out she lived right in my small town and was the wild wife of a giant local cop. I found out later we even had mutual friends.
I felt like it hit to close to home for her. I suspect she realized we had mutual friends and she kind of avoided me after our supermarket encounter. But what a woman!

Yes. I had stopped at a small club in Central Nowhere NY west of Syracuse and had a really nice dance with a woman, nice enough that I planned to go back the next night for seconds.

The next afternoon I was running an errand in the mall and who should I see but the same beauty. She gave me a shy smile and continued past without stopping.

Second helpings that night were worth the visit.

Not as bad as being seen by a SO or someone who knows SO while on an outing with an OTC girl.

That hasn't happened to me {yet}, but once while on an outing with a regular of mine, she spotted another dancer, and we needed to disperse and reconvene a few minutes later.

StudMe’s got a good story I can’t top, but I did have a cop’s ex-wife offer to blow me in vip with clean up included, no mess. Never saw her otc, praise the lord.

Yeah - the giant cop got fired for beating her up at some point. But I think he got his job back somehow naturally. I don’t think they’re married anymore. She’s got a legit job now with a pretty strong online presence. She’s still gorgeous but doesn’t live around me anymore…
Not that I’ve been keeping track…

Around 7 years ago there was a dancer who I got to know a little bit. I could tell she wasn't going to be in the dancing world forever and had some real career aspirations. I even reviewed and helped to give advice on her resume at the time.

But years passed, I stopped visiting clubs locally (still on some business trips) and I hadn't spoken to this dancer in many years.

One day my wife tells me I'm going to think our daughter's summer camp teacher (daycare staff member) is hot. Oh yeah? I'll be the judge of that. So I pick my daughter up that day and... yep, it was my favorite dancer from years back.

I never brought up the past. Thank goodness she never did either. And she became my daughter's favorite teacher for about 2 months.

Small world! It added a bit of intrigue to drop off and pickup. That's for sure!

I had a recent encounter with a dancer from one of the clubs in my area at the casino in my area. I was playing one of the slots when she comes to the one next to mine. At the casino, I have nights where I just run into people I know, so we start talking and she sounded oddly familiar, so I ask if I have seen her elsewhere previously. That's when she mentions her strip club dancing and that she still dances. Not long after that, her friend (or perhaps her girlfriend, she is bi) comes along and that was it.

One time, at a friend's bachelor party, we had 2 strippers come by the room and do a show. 2 days later, when most of us were leaving, One friend was with his wife and her friends from the bachelorette party. They bumped into one of the strippers at the airport, who was in a wheelchair, and she said "Hey, friends name". Luckily my friends and their wives are pretty cool, so it make for a funny story. For the record, nothing they did directly caused ol girl to be in the wheelchair, lol

Told this story a couple times here in the past but 25 years ago my then fave came into the store I was managing with her Mom and brother who were visiting from Europe.
She had her back to me when I approached them and we both looked completely shocked when she turned around but both recovered quickly and said hi. Helped her get a present for her brother and when the other sales guys asked me how I knew her I told them she was a server at a regular bar I frequented. Found out that weekend that she told her Mom basically the same thing about me!

I once saw a bartender from a club (she was a former dancer) at a gas station. She ran over and gave me a hug. My wife was in the car. She asked me who that was. I told her it was the bartender from a place I go for lunch. She never gave it another thought.

I also ran into a dancer at my neighborhood grocery store. She told me that she was living with a bf within walking distance. She said she was quitting dancing. She then offered for me to meet her at her new apartment as the bf was not home. I opted NOT to meet her.

I was in-line at the Courthouse waiting to go through the metal detectors, when ahead of me in line I spied a woman in an incredibly short skirt, with butterfly tattoos on each hamstring. A dancer. They made her take off her shoes and when she lifted up her leg to do so I immediately knew she was wearing a thong. Then I looked at the Court officer's expression and realized, but naked, no thong.
Spent about 40 minutes chatting with her on the third floor and during those 40 minutes at least 40 -50 other attorneys came over to say hello. You are very popular, she exclaimed. You are hot and wearing no under garments I replied and she laughed. The next week she did the only free CR I have ever gotten in my entire life.

RTP - I wonder if she told the boyfriend, "sure, I'll stop dancing, if that's want you want, babe". Then, she switched to escorting/meetups, which is not dancing, so she wouldn't have been lying.

Let this be a lesson to anyone who thinks they want to date a stripper. Most can't handle the thought of her playing around on the side.

Nothing bad but it has happened a few times. The town isn't that big, and a lot of people like outdoor music festivals. Just head nods.
