What cities have the best high mileage clubs?
Phoenix, El Paso and Dallas have their share of interestingly reviewed clubs. On the east coast it sounds like Connecticut and Rhode Island. Possibly New Jersey as well perhaps, but it is a real hodgepodge of smaller dive clubs to sift through. And of course South Florida. An easy place to visit "on vacation"

why are strippers on this site?
How would you keep them out if you wanted to? We can't keep Dougster or SJG out. People can always create more logins, circumvent IP address tracking with proxies, etc.

    Anywhere there are Titties.
Do you remember the 1st strip club you went in ?
Jon Jon's in downtown Fresno, around 1993. It was a dark, sketchy side of the city, I felt nervous parking on the street and walking alone into there. It looked like they had converted a western themed restaurant into a club. There were wagon wheeled light fixtures. I used a newspaper coupon for a few dollars off. Most of the activity was still stageside but the DJ did pitch lapdances at $5 each. The VIP was I think $20 which was way too much for me to contemplate as a newb. I watched the show for a few hours. It was pitched as an "amateur night" and some of the girls did seem to be actual amateurs without a good stage routine. I worked up enough courage at the end to approach one dancer, tip a dollar and go home. I did not visit another club for several years.

^^ haha I had a similar experience at a different club. The dancer said she did not like all the "bullshit rules" like keep one foot on the floor. She gave me some good straddling dances + kissing. Even she admitted there was no point taking a guy to VIP just to give the same dance on a couch that he gets in a chair.

In this instance I believe her - I later did VIPs with her in the early evening (when the bouncers were busy setting up the club and only walked past instead of sitting in the corner observing everyone.) Her dances were better. Other girls also mentioned the management being generally strict.

Got a few Newb questions from a new SC fan
C.I.M. - Yep, the girls still wore costumes (nurse, secret agent, etc.) danced to some specific theme music, and actually teased and stripped out of them... Guys would still whoop and cheer with each piece of clothing that fell.

    VIP expectations for the uninitiated?
I visited several clubs before trying a VIP. I still thought $10 for a floor dance was a lot of money at the time and usually kept my total expenditures under $100. I bought a 2-for-$50 VIP special and thought "Wow did I really just blow 50 bucks?" Really, I think the majority of guys in a club are not big spenders and not like TUSCL vets. They buy drinks, watch sports, tip a few girls, buy a lap or two.

Yes, a dancer mentioned to me once that the bouncer had given her a hand sign that she needed to change positions more often. Remaining in one position too long is a "Simulated Sex Act" under North Carolina codes.

Such a n00b thing to do...
Subraman's windbreaker technique sounds good... Might look a little odd with shorts but you are not likely to leave VIP without it (and your stuff) I had been deliberately putting my wallet and keys on the floor under the chair/couch, figuring that it would be hard for a 3rd party to swipe them and they won't get knocked into the seat folds in the dark. At some clubs I may be in a corner and can tuck them between the furniture and a wall.

Got a few Newb questions from a new SC fan
In the early 1990s I remember clubs still operating with a bit of burlesque mode... The stage really was the show and the reason to be there... to even sit by the stage, cost a higher ticket fee than sitting at a table. I was surprised to resume clubbing in the 2000s, and learn that you could sit anywhere and only tip if you felt like it. I think at many clubs now, the stage has degraded to simply showcasing available dancers. Or, almost an orchestrated way for the DJ to pry ladies away from regulars, and give a few other guys a moment to chat with a dancer for a few bucks.

If she walks away smiling, you spent too much.
So I don't have VIP and writing a review today won't get me VIP status.
I suppose if someone reviews the same club every day, only the 29th review would actually extend VIP status.

Our two-party system has failed, just like our founders said it would
I participated in a political party for a while. Was a precinct lead, a member of the county executive committee, paid yearly dues and attended the state conventions as a voting delegate. I grew disillusioned with it all, as I realized that participation was principally ineffective and pointless. The main thing the party really wanted was fat donations, and these largely ended up in the hands of preferred media and political consultants... to ineffectively squander on radio and TV ads the most people ignore, and direct mail that goes directly in the trash. It is light version of joining Amway or Scientology. Spending your free time working with "true believers" and being squeezed for donations and purchases.

Nidan, that sounds like someone who confused on club with another... Or is just making shit up. You bring up a good point though. The best approvers are guys who cover many clubs and can sniff out the BS immediately.

Have have trouble sometimes deciding between Approve or Reject. These tend to be very short reviews - and I feel like the submitter is being lazy, just wants to keep his free VIP going. (But I realize that there may not not be much to say about a club that is going stale.) These usually sit in the queue for an afternoon, until enough slow Approvals pile up from more generous VIP moderators.

When reading unpublished reviews, we do not know who submitted them. I suppose Founder did not want us to kick reviews out simply b/c we have a bias against a specific writer. I think anonymity both ways does sound appropriate.

    It's Saturday night - who's strip clubbing tonight ?
I have been debating with myself... I had built about $250 into my budget this week if I choose to go. Right now I feel like skipping for another week. Go next weekend with around $400 so that I can feel like I have more options, maybe haggle for package VIP deals. I am of the opinion that things tend to get good with a dancer during the 3rd song. Nowadays I would rather go 4 or more songs with ladies I approve of, than do lots of short time sampling.

Is Tuscl the new Backpage ?
BackPage did not last long after FOSTA. I don't think Founder quit his day job to live off TUSCL fees and advertising. Not worth the headaches and risk to become a high profile hookup site.

Why dont we vote on clubs in different categories once a year ?
A local chef explained to me, that he was told that if he did not advertise his restaurant in a local "arts and entertainment" weekly, that he would not appear in the yearly "best of the city" lists Even if not manipulated by the editors, these lists are manipulated by businesses. They will pre-print the voting form, and hand out self-addressed envelopes with coupons.

Clubs probably turn guys away regularly who pitch working the bathroom as an excuse to get in free and ogle dancers. You may actually need some references and work history to be a troll at an upscale and corporate club.
