Anywhere there are Titties.
Do you remember the name of the 1st strip club you ever went into ? Did you enjoy it ? And is it still open ?
I was 19 in college in San Antonio. "Top-of-the-Strip" on San Pedro. No, it is not still open. I actually spent most of the night playing pool in the back, got hustled out of about $500 by a pool shark. I went back but did not play pool the next time.
Got something to say?

I acted like the stereotypical newb but had a great time.
2nd one I went to while out of state in college was horrible and totally turned me off going ever again. We're talking bad talent bad attitudes over priced everything. No idea if that place is still around.
A good ten years later, a move and stumbling on this board opened my eyes to everything is possible and oh has it been glorious!
The following week, I drove back with as many of my possessions as I could haul in my car and once I got into town I checked into a hotel, got dinner and hung out in my room for about an hour until I go bored and decided to go check out a strip club. I Googled strip clubs nearby and found one in Wisconsin Dells named Wisconsin Dolls.
It was a Sunday evening and when I got to the club, it was a small establishment that had a neighborhood bar type of vibe. I was the only customer and there was only one dancer, but she was a young hot college-aged girl. As the night progressesd, 2 more girls showed up and they were also hot college-aged girls. I only got a dance from the first girl, and I think I stayed for 2 hours and only spent a total of $60. On the drive back to the hotel, I saw the billboard again and it happened to be for a different club than the one I visited.
I had enough fun to come back to this club, but first I visited that other club, Cruisin’ Chubby’s, which is a misleading name because all the girls at this club were thin. That is when I learned $60 is not enough cash to bring. I had to use the club’s ATM on that night.
No idea if it is still standing or not.
After the visit, I didn't visit a strip club for more than 20 years, and in 2017 I went to Venus Showgirls in Stanton which was a dump but it motivated me to look for better clubs and I soon discovered COI and TJ.
Did your dad take you to the club when he had the babysitting duty? You don't look a day over 50.

I can still remember 3 of the dancers. A thick, older AA, a little blonde spinner (my friends went back later and were giddy that she got nude), and a long haired sandy blond working with a lower leg cast.
I realize now that she looked much like my CF. Hmmm..
...sigh...
You can see it from the freeway and it's nearby a local arcade, mini-amusement park, miniature golf course, and bowling alley. Songs were $10 in a booth, $20 in practically the same booth next to it, and $125 in a small little VIP room with a dark but transparent curtain (if the fire marshal hadn't been around). I remember barely being able to afford the booth dances let alone the VIP room. Tops never came off unless you went in the VIP room on dayshift, and only if the girl was willing to take her top off. It was a terrible and unfulfilling club at the time and apparently is still the same to this day.
I tried out a few other clubs and eventually settled on Ecstasy Theatre for my early clubbing life.

I bet that didn't compare to Honk Kong in TJ did it? That place is a Latina Utopia.
I probably would have found these types of clubs eventually, but I might have saved a lot of time and effort if my first visit was something like the Girls of Glitter Gulch downtown.
I was in college in Boston in the early 1970s, and my roommate, who was a theater tech major, worked at the Pilgrim Theatre. He handled all of their tech work -- lighting, sound, and whatever else needed to be done. What he didn't tell me for quite some time is that the theater featured strippers.
The Pilgrim Theatre was one of the most infamous places in an area of downtown that was called the Combat Zone, Boston's way of containing the seedier elements of society (like yours truly, I guess). The typical thing at the Pilgrim Theatre was for them to show what were then called XXX movies for an hour, put live strippers on stage for 30 minutes, then repeat that rotation. At age 20, I had never seen a stripper, and I asked my roommate about it -- and wondered whether it would be OK to bring my girlfriend, who was as curious as I was. He said sure, and told me that they didn't do anything the law didn't allow. Sounded safe enough for me.
We came into what looked like a normal movie theater with a stage. Yes, the porno movie was going full tilt, as graphic as anything you'd see online today, and the most startling thing was that instead of the movie soundtrack, all you could hear was loud rock music blaring from the speakers. Much to my delight, it was the Allman Brothers. Sweet!!
The strip show was quite an eye-opener for my 18-year-old girlfriend and me -- apparently the law allowed the girls to dance in nothing but high heels, and the expression "spread eagle" took on a whole new meaning for me.
At the time, two of the regularly-featured dancers were Fanne Foxe and Chesty Morgan, who I guess was kind of the Stormy Daniels of that era -- minus the dalliance with a future president.
It looked like they had converted a western themed restaurant into a club. There were wagon wheeled light fixtures.
I used a newspaper coupon for a few dollars off. Most of the activity was still stageside but the DJ did pitch lapdances at $5 each. The VIP was I think $20 which was way too much for me to contemplate as a newb.
I watched the show for a few hours. It was pitched as an "amateur night" and some of the girls did seem to be actual amateurs without a good stage routine.
I worked up enough courage at the end to approach one dancer, tip a dollar and go home.
I did not visit another club for several years.
But I was also going to Sunnyvale Hip Hugger. But both of these clubs are gone now, buildings demolished.
Later I would also go to Richard's Lounge / Candid Club / Sporty's Bar.
And I would also go to the Pink Poodle, nude. And then once to a club in San Francisco, nude, made in old movie theater, but non-lap dancing, no touching, stage only.

I’m convinced this was all a set-up, and that I won him a few bucks on a bet. At the time I had a reputation at work as a very straight-laced religious person. When I got back to work I told no one where I’d been, but within a couple days it seemed everyone knew, but I never confessed. That, of course, was the start of my long, slow slide into debauchery.
If I recall correctly, dances were $5 each. I have no idea if there was VIP or not. The girls would carry around wooden boxes about two feet square and a foot high. They placed the boxes on the floor between the customers legs and stood on them for the dances. No touch, no grind. They would strip naked, but they always kept a piece of clothing around their necks when dancing. I wondered if that was to meet some sort of anti-obscenity regulation, like always have on a piece of clothing.
I’ve never been back there. It seems Jason’s is closed because I’ve never seen them referenced on here.
I remember the guy at the door looking me and my friends over. We were just three kids from Brooklyn with about $100 between us all.
The place had peep shows, live shows and magazines. It was definitely a learning experience. I look back at it now and I must say we were all pretty fortunate to not get into any trouble that night.
I went to a few other place during my teen years then Giuliani began to closed down a lot of the spots in the 90s.
The second one I went to was the FEI Club in Central Falls, RI. I brought a date and went with my parents. It was a “night club” with a floor show featuring “Busty Russell” with her nifty 50’s.
Both clubs are long gone.
I know Papi visited, August of 2014, after my last visit there and it was "The Office Falls" but I know it closed after that. Haven't been by there since I retired back in July of 2016.
The barmaid, on the other hand, was mega hot and fully clothed. She stayed fully clothed. Thus ended my first strip club experience, lol.
The club probably died 40 years ago.
Small bar. Had a decent size stage in the middle and another small stage to the side of the bar - both being used. The first dancer was really cute (a Jennifer Beals type). She danced a couple songs topless then took a break by sitting down in the middle of the stage where I asked her some questions and then she danced some more. Afterwards she came around to everyone who had tipped her on stage for a chat and a peck on the cheek.
The next dancer was a little more rough looking but still had a good body. She was really into the dance, laid on her back on the stage and announced she was going to do some "puss-ups" and thrust her pelvis upwards. Then she pulled out one of her pubic hairs and dropped it into the glass of some guy who was passed out stage side. A few minutes later he came to life and guzzled it down. During this girls break a skinny wrinkly old lady bartender came up on stage and shouted out who wanted to this girls beaver. Everyone gave a hurrah but this previously rather wild girl demurely declined to take off her bottoms. So the old lady grabbed her bikini bottoms and started tussling with her trying to pull them off but unsuccessfully. On the other smaller stage was a tall thin skanky blonde with way too much makeup - one of the guys loved her.
That was my first strip club but two summers previously I had been to a live sex show in Europe. I remember what the inside looked like but not the name of the theater. A group of guys I was with was walking around the street during the day when we were approached by a guy offering us a group deal to see this sex show. I think it was like $7 each so we said yes and then he walked us a couple of blocks to the theater. Just as we came in there was a black couple sitting at a bar - turned out to be the performers. It was a small theater about the size of a movie complex theater but with a stage at the front. We all sat midway back and the only other people there was a guy in his early 20s with his girlfriend a couple rows back.
So the girl comes out and the show starts. It is a lackadaisical performance and she doesn't look like she wants to be there. She dances around a little and strips nude. While she was dancing the guy came out in a gorilla suit with a big fake dick that he jerked off and shot water at everyone in the audience. Well, I hope it was fake dick and water. Then she proceeds to put various things in her vagina - the show was actually billed as "7 shows in 1!, the candle show, the banana show, etc." During the banana show everyone was invited to take a turn eating the banana sticking out of her pussy. About half the guys I knew and the guy with girl participated. For the grand finale the guy came back out on stage and fucked the girl for some time. Once again everyone was invited to come down to the stage for a closer look and touch the girls tits. Only a couple guys went this time and one of them said the man doing the fucking told him if he took out his dick the woman would suck it right there. Overall the whole thing was a little sad since the woman didn't seem to want to be there.
A 24 y/o coworker invited me to go as a "right of passage" I guess for turning 21 - I don't recall having too-big an interest in strip-clubs at the time and I probably would not have gone out of my own volition, I knew very-little about strip-clubs back then and was not interested in blowing the little-$$$ I made at the time as I worked my way thru college - I did enjoy the visit - went back w/ my friend the next-week but soon lost interest and in the entire 90s could probably count in one hand the # of times I hit a strip-club.
IDK how much mileage was available back-then but my friend got a voluptuous blonde to dance for us table-side - she brought a little stand w/ her she would dance on and no-touching was allowed, even as a newb I thought that was lame and a waste of $$$ (IDK if there were contact lap-dances available) - the blond that danced for us was very good-looking typical of low-mileage clubs of the 90s - blond, mid-20s, big natural tits, meaty-thighs, and meaty-ass, w/ a flat-stomach and toned, with a natural tan - looked like a California blond that could grace the pages of Playboy back in the day (b/f it became mostly plastic) - we sat stage-side but rarely tipped but that kinda seemed the M.O. at that club - I recall one of the dancers was a tanned body-builder, she wasn't huge but was ripped - one of the dancers that caught my attention on stage was a young early-20s brunette w/ a slim but curvy body (natural very-firm large-Bs/small-Cs) with curly-dark hair and a great natural tan.
Back then the club has a pretty-cool dancer showcase - the showcase was set to Motley Crue's "Girls Girls Girls" song - the song starts w/ just the sound of a Harley Davidson motorcycle revving - there was no announcement for the showcase - but once you heard the revving of the Harley you instantly knew what was coming (the showcase) - so the Harley revving signaled the dancer showcase and the girls would hit the stage on-cue as soon as the music started a couple of seconds after the Harely revving sound; it def caught your attention - back then the club was a bit higher-energy than it is now - a bit more like an MTv video; but not necessarily wild.
Lol! XTC in SA was the first club I ever worked at. In my experience you were far from the only one like that...
Did a quick Google search and apparently the club did change ownership in the late 90s - Deans Gold (originally Solid Gold) apparently was originally-owned by Michael Peters, the guy that owned the now-closed Solid Gold in Oakland Park near Ft Lauderdale and owns the new Solid Gold in Pompano (north of Ft Lauderdale) - the guy that bought the old Solid Gold Miami (now Deans Gold) from Michael Peters is named Dean Tyler and I guess he wanted to keep the club closely related to Solid Gold since it was a very-popular club and I assume why he kept "Gold" in the club's name?

Whenever I see the Dean's Gold name I think they are talking about that. I can't think of the club on the corner of 163rd and Biscayne as anything but Solid Gold.
This was the Sunny Isles club I visited I think once in the 2000s but I don't think it may be the dive you were referring to:
