Many of these women grew up without a good father and they are continuing the cycle, raising a child without one. They do respond to men who have calmness and security in their own lives, because the ladies lack that. And older guys can be this way because they likely have savings and are past that point in life when they need to worry about covering rent, utilities, etc. And we have enough to share some of it.... I think that helps, a little :-}

Dunno how accurate this is, but the bartender told me the price is affected by seating capacity, sort of like ASAP fees for music. This was in a spacious club, that normally only bothers to light one half of it most of the time... Certainly I could see such a fee structure being a problem.

I hung out at two smaller clubs that were unwilling to pay the fee to show the fight. Customers were light, ladies about the same as usual, until it was over and more guys arrived

Summer of 1993 in Fresno. I was frustrated with experiences using the old print ad 1-900 personals. So I visited a club downtown called Jon Jon's using a coupon for $10 admission with 3 included beers. Stage seating was $3 extra so I stayed at a table and just watched... Did go to the stage just before I left and tipped a single.
There was still a side of burlesque vibe to the show. Dancers wore costumes that they disrobed from.

Yeah I've been thinking lately, the experience is mostly about the dancer, not the club or it's pricing. I can get some very fairly good two way touching and grinding for $10 with some girls at some places. And I can think of $25 VIPs with girls who push my hands away and tell me to keep my mouth closed when she leans her tits in.
In fact I may be at the stage where I've settled on some favorites at my regular clubs and don't need to experiment with fresh girls for a while. That's probably something that takes time to sink into newbies... You really need to explore a range of women, to uncover the ones you enjoy and should keep going back to. It can take several visits to a club to figure this out. TUSCL can give a lot of guidance to improve your odds, but it's unlikely the first dancer you try will be a knockout experience.

NC is all over the place. There are still some $5 afternoon chair dances in a few clubs in western NC. And $10 chair dances are still common. But I think what TUSCL members are really looking for though is overt contact both ways, which is in the $20-$35 VIP rooms.

2 hours is plenty if you're not getting the itch to buy dances. By that point all the girls should have rotated through the stage... You've been hassled enough to buy drinks from waitresses, listened to loud music etc etc.
That was me yesterday... Club was busy, girls finding plenty of patrons to go VIP, they had little interest in doing chair dances. I folded my hand, decided to conserve cash for another night.

The last time my wallet was missing, the girl searched the folds of the couch and handed it to me. Then I lost my membership ID and driver's license a week later... Drove back to the club, the dancer had found them after I left and turned them in. This is a dive club. Maybe the girls give a shit, a little, for locals willing to go there.
I have since stitched velcro snaps onto the pockets of those lapping pants.

I had a similar experience recently with a girl who is not a stripper but otherwise ticks off all the stereotypes.. Abusive family, revoked drivers license, in rehab for opiate abuse. She was texting and calling me, being complimentary to me. Then "poof" gone. Maybe her phone crapped out and she never memorized my number. You just have to accept that women without good organizational skills can do this.

I lost about 35 pounds last year. Began coloring my gray hairs, updated my contact lenses, bought new clothes and had them tailored to fit. I did all this to prepare for meeting some women through a professional introduction service... Spent thousands to join it, met several ladies but nothing worked out.
I started thinking about all the lapdances I could have bought instead. And figured, why not start now? I do think the dancers appreciate meeting a man who is clean, wearing fresh clothes, etc.

The main use I have for my contact lenses is going SCing. Helps get rid of the middle age vibe of glasses. It took me a few tries to find an optician that would prescribe them weak enough for look-around-the-room distance. I kept explaining that they were for "social use" uhhh... Reading karaoke screens, playing pool... Yeah, stuff like that.

My answer may not help much but I think women are often inherently flaky and do inconsistent and contradictory things. Just shrug off her behavior if you feel like it is good value. Keep scheduling dates if you want... assuming it doesn't bother you to continually need back up plans.

Well you can also think about it as you and the girl are simply learning how to groove together by the end of song two.
I have been asking myself lately though whether an occasional trip to VIP has been more of a tease for the dancer than me. Chair dances are still commonly $10 in NC and VIP $25 or so. I don't think the VIP experience is literally 2.5x as good, usually.

The last time I encountered this, it was an inebriated dancer clinging to another one. The tipsy dancer kept making lascivious comments about the other one, asking me to buy dances so she could watch, and asking me to buy dances for her to party with the other girl.
I thought the whole thing was a hustle or a ruse, but I went along with it for half an hour just to eat up time waiting for the stage show to begin. The other dancer was enjoyable but I decided the experience would be better without the distraction of the bi girl yakking to us.
When leaving the club, I encountered the 2nd girl again on break - she said she had never met the verbal one before, and wanted to shake her off.

After a 7 year hiatus from visiting SC's I'm just visiting local ones again and getting a sense of things. $150 is plenty just to sample a club and I usually leave with a bunch of unspent singles. I plan to go with more cash on me, after I decide on which clubs/nights I really want to play.
