+1 on that statement There's probably more ways they are not the same than they are. And the longer they dance/strip the more pronounced the differences become.
When I first came on the board one of our ladies who is a member wrote how she flipped the switch on and off when she went to work.......and I replied as time goes by much like a real light switch doesn't the on/off button tend to blur and become worn out......never saw an answer which to me was an answer.

Okay something else to consider to meet the 20 something year olds you would need to have interaction with them as you did when you were that age.
If you are older where is that going to happen in your normal everyday life?
I'm not big on going to younger bars or nightclubs. Hell even when I was in Vegas for a week I didn't go to any trendy night spots. It's boring and it's loud (sorry if I sound like Elmer Fudd)
You're not in college anymore......
I do go to the gym but I'm there to work out not pick up women and most of the women I know resent guys hitting on them at the health clubs anyway regardless of the guys age.
I have (and I am older) younger women approach me. It does happen and I would suspect it does to a lot of older guys based on comments I hear from single women in their 20's and 30's.
Why SA? Because it cuts the time down and it cuts through the BS once you get past the point of the first or second meeting.
I'm with Flagooner on the part where I don't go to stripclubs looking for OTC. I go for the interaction in the club. Anything beyond that is a plus....some of what happens in the club is beyond what I expect.

Define date......
Putting aside the velvet touch of flagooner for a moment if you are trying to be "captain save a hoe" you might as well put your hand on a hot stove repeatedly and wonder why your hand hurts.
I dated (meaning no money exchanged hands) a girl off and on for a couple of years --she became a stripper after one of our breakups and during the times we got back together she quit stripping. It was still a nightmare at times. And she got far worse once she had her first stint of being a stripper. After the second time she went further down the rabbit hole.
I see strippers OTC and they can be fun. We have a good time and I treat each person regardless of what they do for a living as an individual in a large part on how they treat me and how I see them interact with people in general, but I don't look to date strippers. For one thing I see the guys that do and in general they either work in the same club......or they fit what others including myself have stated on here before....a parasite living off the girl.
How many rappers and athletes date a stripper exclusively? A very, very ( did I say very) small percentage if any.

It seems to depend on the vibe of the club...........
One of the reasons I like to sit at the bar and have a drink with the girl is it gives both of us a chance to see if we are on the same mindset.
If so it avoids misunderstandings....if not I move on and I'm at the bar---other people are nearby so again no chance to make something out of nothing to claim I owe her.
BTW I don't care if the drink she sips is water, coffee (as one of my favorites at CH3 does) or alcohol.....

From the last experience I had when I took a friend I can share the dancers pick up on which one of the guys is the one to hit on for the upsale
Call it stripper radar much the same way a poker player can tell who the mark is at the table when they sit down. ( and if you can't tell it means it's you)

The funny thing is many of the things they can be fined for the club knows the girls do and some of them with their acknowledgement even if it is not official.
Really they can fine probably anyone they want as a means of control.
I know I heard first hand about the clubs in Detroit ( some of my first comments on here I raised the question and I was told by a dancer it wasn't a big deal)

It must be me or my luck but
1) I've yet to been in a club where there was only one dancer I liked. So there are always choices.
2) Nine times out of ten I can at the very least get the girl I like to come over and talk/dance/drink for part of the night.
3) The other time when I can't typically at some point she will come to the bar and the bartender (where I sit and who I tip) will introduce me to her if we haven't met.

On a more realistic note how much of the general male population do you think frequents this board? I doubt we are even 5% of the guys that go to strip clubs. We are the tail wagging the dog.......we might be the informed tail but none the less..
Recall the story about a month ago posted on here about the idiots that were contractors or oil guys and every time a girl would go to another table they would come over to the table and and throw 20's at her until they had every girl in the bar............
That is the mentality of the uninformed and small egoed and sadly there are more of them than us.....

There are a handful of different types of trolls (at least) and they all have slightly different reasons but look up the research and paper on the Internet "Trolls just want to have Fun" if you want an overall understanding.....and social media has only made it worse, which is why occasionally you'll see me comment on my disdain for Twitter in particular.

And thus you will have trolls. I'm not going to tip my hand any further than what I have already but the bottom line is if you accept the methodology of how this board is moderated it includes the acceptance of trolls and multiple handles from a single poster.
As for how we interact with each of them I can only speak for myself in that I accept people at face value until they provide me enough of a reason not to do so. So I am an innocent until proven guilty type of person. It doesn't mean I not seeing the BS, it simply means I take the bad with the good.

I'm not so sure once a girl spends time with you once or twice if she simply just doesn't run out of conversation topics.
The first time you talk--no doubt they want to be sure you have money and they probably are completely focused on how much of it is staying behind at the club with them.
Afterwards I'm more inclined to agree with Subraman--"I suspect there's underlying business imperatives here, too. To wit: I suspect the girls know very well that a typical customer -- say, a guy in his 40s, in mid-management, married with kids -- does not lead the most exciting life in the world (he may be enjoying it and it may be satisfying, but it's not super exciting), and many guys get their excitement vicariously through stripper party/drama/sex talk. In short, with most strip club customers, the girls are rewarded for talking about themselves"
So if you have a hobby that you are passionate about --cars, photography (one of mine) or if you are lucky enough to have seen most of the USA or parts of the world bring it up--it works for me everytime. Most of these girls lead a pretty boring life despite their attempts to make it look as if they don't. A lot of them want to travel and see other places but they never seem to have the money to do so....some are thinking about using their stripper jobs to allow them to at least see a few other cities around the country but even if they have there are plenty of places they want to see and haven't.
Don't get me wrong your money still rules as the overriding factor for many/most of them but getting a person to talk about what they want to do with their life opens the door to trust and communication.

Mine was more of an FYI for a couple of reasons---1) Most sites do their updates at Midnight -2 AM time frame and sync up the time with the East or West Coast, regardless if the servers are off shore or not .I logged in at 7 AM this morning and it was down---I logged in the second time right before I posted and it was slightly over three hours.
The server updates most likely are a patch being applied that Microsoft send out yesterday and it caused some network issues for organizations--just a hunch or educated guess on my part this was a reason but it took me under 15 minutes to run the patch.
So having said all of that and realizing I am using educated guesses ( still a guess) it was worth mentioning.

Most of the different species described here we've all seen and run into probably multiple times if you go to clubs for a year or more.
I guess I fit under old dude with the added I get bored easy and I travel for work which means I don't sit in a hotel room if I can find something to do. And let's face it going some place with decent looking women undressing ranks pretty high on the list of things to keep guys happy.
