I got my first one in '98, but didn't have it too long. Bought one in 2000 - oddly enough, after working for Sprint that summer - and have had one ever since.
I don't remember phones being commonplace until maybe 2003, but I lived in a college town most of that time.

I've had an experience similar to jackslash's: a now-closed club in central PA had its back door open when it was below freezing outside. Being central PA, there were people outside smoking and whatnot. I think I stayed about an hour before deciding that a cold club was not the move.

Cleveland was the only one to do it in the finals. There have been a few teams who've done it in other rounds. The ones I remember most are GS/OKC and when Houston did it to Phoenix in the 90s with Mario Elie's "kiss of death" 3.
I have a strange feeling that this gets to Sunday, but that Toronto wins it then.

Looks like KD will play tonight. Even if he's back to 100 percent - which is quite doubtful - I still don't see the Warriors winning three straight. The Raptors are good enough to get one more, especially having two chances at home.

I agree with mjx on everything except SOH being the best club in Harrisburg. Number of recent reviews - say, last 6 months or since some big change in the club - would tell the best story without actually reading the reviews.

I've heard that dancers do it so they know where our hands are, as nicespice said. I'm not a handsy guy so it annoys me slightly when it happens, but I play along because a dancer's comfort is more important than my hand location.

Nothing: 95 percent of the time I've made my decision before a dancer says anything. I can't even think of an action that's foolproof, since I've turned down kisses and handshakes.

Off the top of my head, my guess is that the circle with the bar is 'ignore' and the star is a sort of favorite or bookmark. That green circle probably is an indicator that the person is currently logged in.

Although I'm overjoyed to not have to hear Reggie Miller or Chris Webber call games anymore, I'm equally unnerved by the amount of coverage that a certain actor turned rapper is going to get during the Finals. ESPN(/ABC) can't resist that sort of thing, and dude's likely to have his own camera. They're going to mention him more than any actual Raptor player whose last name doesn't start with L.
The series itself? I'm going to guess that KD returns in Game 3, Boogie returns in Game 4, and the Warriors win in 6.

NO is awful, especially if Passions is closed. That is/was the only place in town with decent pricing. DC is up there too (same Passions-type exception being allowed for Ebony Inn, although Mustangs isn't that bad), as is Orlando.

The only non-dancers I tip with any sort of regularity are bathroom attendants, mostly because it's expected. I tip waitresses whenever I at or drink, but it's not that often. The exception to that is any place that charges $5 for water: I tend not to carry singles except when needed for bathroom attendants, and feel that's enough of a markup that any tip should be included in the price. I think Follies is the only place I've ever tipped the door girl.
Regarding the tipping for change, a now-closed place I used to visit took 10% off top for changing into singles (there was no per-song pricing: customers made it rain on dancers, who kept dancing until the money stopped coming at what they felt was an acceptable rate). Took one instance for me to learn that lesson.
My general disposition is that if you add to my club experience I'll act accordingly.

The Nuggets should've taken it: they had a 17-point lead in the second quarter. I didn't even realize the Blazers won until I saw a tweet that seemed strange. Talked about Isaiah Thomas' season being over. "What do they mean his season's over: when did he go to the Blazers...I thought he played for the Nuggets...wait a minute: I know the Blazers didn't...oh wow: the Blazers won?".
Dame can't say anything today: he went 3-17. CJ gave the Nuggets that work, though - he 'made' 17 shots and scored 37. I need KD to come back so he and CJ can rehash that podcast discussion from last summer.

This isn't so much my concern with the ^ (although it's certainly valid) as much as the fact that someone else may post a comment between the comment one is "^ ing" and their own comment. I've edited enough of my FB comments to have learned that lesson.

Hmm...I can't think of a good movie with a great soundtrack. Most of my favorite movies have middling soundtracks, and my favorite soundtracks come from middling movies. My favorite combos are probably Scarface and New Jack City (loosely based on Scarface). The Scarface soundtrack really fit the movie in every way, though. That was South Florida in the early 80s.

If I'm eating, I'm eating: my food has my attention. Then again, I'm usually not eating that much in a club so my attention isn't diverted for that long. The one club where I might order an entrée, I'm eating in an area separate from the 'club'. Of the clubs I've visited that have dancers that unattractive, I don't think any of them had food.

One recurring theme throughout the season has been that the Warriors have been bored and looking for challenges. They relished the opportunity they got last night, and took full advantage. I never expected them to win last night, and was trying to figure out how to watch a Game 7 and do Mother's Day stuff tomorrow. Thankfully, I don't have to deal with either situation now. They might want to root for the Nuggets, though: I think Murray's inconsistency would sink them in the WCF whereas Dame and McCollum are less likely to disappear.
Has anyone turned public perception around faster than the Bucks, though? After Game 1 they weren't ready for prime time and "this is why the Celtics brought in Kyrie and Hayward". A week and a half later, the Celtics are at a crossroads and the Bucks look like a real contender.

When I was in college, my friends used to think this and I thought they were crazy. Now, I kind of get it.
It somewhat goes along with the last part of what CC99 said, but instead of distance I think the line is that of physical versus other stimulation. People can - and of course, often do - have sex for the physical reward. As long as she makes the mountain splash, things are usually good. Sex can obviously be a more intimate experience, but it doesn't have to be.
Kissing is much less likely to offer the same stimulation, although it is possible. Other things have to draw people to kiss each other (usually), and those things tend to be related to attraction and/or feeling.

When I rate a club, I rate the amenities and the building and décor and all that...ooh, it added the accent: nice. Dancer rating is completely separate. That said, it's near impossible for there to be that much of a discrepancy between the two. Regarding this particular case, I understand but disagree with the reviewer on rating the dancers a 1 due to his experience.

Earliest: probably noon. Whenever I go to Follies, that's when I try to get there. Actually, I think I got there a little before noon once. Also got to Lido in Cocoa at noon once.
Latest: left Playpen in Tampa once at around 6:30 AM. I've shut down Tootsies at 6 several times.

Dive, definitely. Without all the pretense, there's more room for fun. Upscale clubs usually don't have much for me, either in dancer talent or dance experience.

Some friends used to go here a lot maybe 20 years ago...I've been twice, after the changeover. It's probably the last SC I would go to in Broward.
