Worst strip club large cities

I'd put San Francisco somewhere on that list. Low mileage, topless clubs where they don't even get topless in floor dances, much higher priced lapdances than the rest of the country. In COI in the greater Los Angeles area, you can get 3 nude dances for $40. Meanwhile in SF a single nude dance goes for $60.

Definitely agree with Chicago but damn I haven’t been on the west coast much and it looks like San Francisco might be near the top of the list.

I've only clubbed once in Las Vegas but I thought it was too expensive, too many rules, and so overrated.

Like @TFP brought out COI is a much better mongering experience.

I'm very thankful I live 20 minutes from COI and two hours from TJ.

Nashville, Memphis, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Orlando are among the worst.

Cities that I have been in where the strip clubs suck :

Nashville, Orlando, New Orleans, Chicago, New York, Denver.

I actually had a good time in Thee Dollhouse in Orlando last time I was there. Moderate one way contact floor dances, decent two way contact VIP dances, and ended with OTC.

Washington DC

Since OP specifically mentioned "cities" vice metro areas, I'll add St Louis to the list. on that technicality. There are exactly zero strip clubs in the city of St Louis, same as Cincinnati. As most Tuscl mongers know, it's a whole 'nother world club-wise across the Missouri river in "ESL". Across the Ohio River in Newport, KY doesn't begin to hold a candle to ESL clubs, and only serve to add to Cincinnati's strip club Siberia moniker.

I agree with @Warrior with his list (except Denver because I've never clubbed there).

One I'd add is Boston. I couldn't find a fun club there.

Yes, New Orleans sucks. Especially because, given the liberal nature of everything else, you think it will be good.

NO is awful, especially if Passions is closed. That is/was the only place in town with decent pricing. DC is up there too (same Passions-type exception being allowed for Ebony Inn, although Mustangs isn't that bad), as is Orlando.

I'll add San Jose, CA.

What's truly sad about this list is that 15-20 years ago most of these cities were off the hook for liberal extras. Manhattan (especially Times Square), NLO, Nashville, and Vegas (back in the days of OG) were all destinations for my monger-based travel.

Herbtcat is right, San Jose is WAY worse than SF. Santa Clara county is GAHbage!! The worst of the worst! I feel bad for every guy that writes a review about any club in that county because I automatically know he didn't get his money's worth.

There can't be anywhere worse than Orlando surely?

Los Angeles...southern California in general.

Chicago and Nashville and Washington DC (which is why I generally confine my mongering to the PG County suburbs).

 trying to find a real strip club in Tijuana with one way contact is a challenge.

I saw a few people posts about some smaller market cities too, but I don't agree. IME there are often takeout opportunities at reasonable prices. I found a great one in Memphis, for example, as well as in several other smaller market cities.

The problem with the places I noted above is that the clubs suck AND OTC is generally cost prohibitive. I just have no interest in shelling out $600-1,000 when I know that I'll be someplace in a few more days where I can pay 1/3 of that.

I hear Denver is on the upswing again. Was there last year but didn't have time to hit more than one club, which I picked because it was getting so many horrible reviews. Like many other cities it will probably never be what it was 10-15 years ago again, but decent with 1-2 good options for VIP would be nice.

I would qualify that if full nudity on stage with alchohol is all you are looking for, the DC clubs are plenty fun and relatively inexpensive. Not sure about the potential for takeout, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was available. Not every monger looks for extras.

Which DC clubs are relatively inexpensive? The ones downtown aren't. Not every customer looks for extras, sure, but not every customer is a monger. DC clubs in actual DC suck, in a bad way.

Yep... 20-25 years ago, I'd say SF was possibly the best SC city in the country, not the worst. And the best SC that has ever existed in the US is 1996-2006 MBOT, at least for those who had a little cash at the time

I had a couple of stops at MBOT near the end of the date range Subra put out there. It was definitely up there on the all time list. One of the clubs that lived up to its hype.

I will second Vegas, when Crazy Horse 2 and Olympic Gardens were open and Spearmint Rhino hadn’t remodeled and expanded, it was an amazing clubbing experience.  It’s shit now compared to what it once was.

Reasonable drink prices, zero cover, food competitively priced and damn good. Tipping completely at your discretion. Quality of girls has been rising. What's not to like, except no extras?

But there is only so long that one can sit there like a spectator before one gets bored.

Vegas is a great strip clubbing city. The secret is don't act like a tourist or a mark....it doesn't have to be expensive. I've spent $200 and had girls give me their numbers and want to hang out.

And hooked up with a few girls without spending any, but you have to see them a few times first in Vegas.

Anyway, as I've said in the Vegas threads, Vegas is a good place to avoid the sex industry entirely. Go spend a few hundred shooting machine guns and drinking at the many awesome bars, you'll have a great time

^ +1 to what Subraman said. I refuse to club in tourist trap destinations anymore. There are just too many smaller city clubs and even suburban joints to have fun in to burn lots of time and money trying to make something fun happen in a tourist trap.

Go to the non touristy clubs and don't come across as a tourist/mark.

But even in the tourist clubs, just don't act like a trick.... that goes a long way.
