Being in HBG, it mostly depends since my club of choice posts dancer schedules online. I won't go on Wednesdays if Catfish is on, though. Outside of that, I usually go on Saturday nights no matter where I am.

Same as Papi and shadow: I check on area clubs, places that are liable to have good stories (TJ), and places I'm familiar with (South Florida and Tampa clubs, Follies, Passions in NO, Ebony Inn, a few Dallas spots). I mostly read to see if there are any major changes that I need to be aware of.

I'm an only child, so yes. I do have one cousin who also SCs, and one who's willing to go with me when he has money. The first cousin I mentioned happened to be at Follies at the same time I was once. Neither of us lives in Atlanta.

What Rick and Longball said: go to Pasco. Drive to Hudson and work your way back down. I like 2001 and Playpen (if you're into AAs) as far as Tampa clubs, but if you're already in Clearwater then you should listen to Rick and Longball.

Went 140 in a Millenia once on the (Florida) Turnpike. I was late getting to a friend's house and figured that was as good a reason as any to see what the car could do.

^ What 25 said. There's more of a challenge in avoiding girls you don't want than there is in finding the ones you do want...and really, the former is settled with a respectful but affirmative decline.
I also agree with rh48hr: I'm not really interested in too much experimenting, especially if dances are $20-25 a pop.

^ What rh48hr said. The local spot puts the schedule online, and I only go when it looks like a favorite or multiple new girls are there. If the same girls are there and I'm not feeling them, it's easy to walk away ("if it's online, why do you go in those situations"...new girls might be scheduled, but not show up - like tonight). It's also easy to walk away with 80-90% of my money if I walk into a club and the girls think I don't have the 'look' of a guy with money and/or one willing to spend.

Did they really try to pass of G5ive as a substitute for Dean's? No, no, no, no, and no.
Now I wish I went to Dean's while I was down there for the holidays. There's almost no place worth going in Dade now except for Tootsies...which is all I really need...and Showgirls on Tuesdays.

Went to a party and the hostess had a room down the road since she was from out of town. She invited me and this other guy back to the room. He had his girlfriend and another woman with him. The other woman didn't feel good, so she didn't get into anything. He and I took turns with his girlfriend and the hostess.

Now that would be worth making a bad decision. Even though the snow stopped early and they've unexpectedly plowed the roads already, I'm still staying in tonight. I'd go out if there was a Follies type club or even an Ebony Inn, but this is Harrisburg.

I'm in central PA. Great point about others not being able to drive. I think that sealed it on me staying in tonight.
Dog sled sounds cool, but I don't have any dogs. It'd be cool to pull up at the club with eight huskies, though.

I would. I'm used to lines from all my times going to regular clubs...not to mention if I go through all the prep and driving to go to a SC, the line isn't going to stop me. I could decide to go to another club, but I'm pretty one track minded when it comes to those sorts of things. That said, I think the longest I've ever waited in line is about 5 minutes. I think Tootsies, Passions, and Savannah's are the only places I've ever waited in line, defining a line as more than 3 people.

If you're in Orlando proper (the east side of the metro area), go to Cocoa. If you're on the west side closer to Disney, go to Tampa: it's about the same distance from that point and you have better options. That drive back is not going to be fun, though; either way.

Still the best dance I've ever gotten to date. It was at KOD in 2010, back when the club was worth the hype. Fine chocolate something gave me an amazing two-song set. Every time I've heard the second song since then, I've thought about that dance. I simped out so badly...sigh.
Oh, it says first dance...well, I guess that would be one I got from Pleasers back in 2001. My cousin was 'seeing' a dancer there and I was staying with him for a few days while looking for a job. We went to the club and he bought me a couple of table dances while he waited for his girl to finish her shift. She was cool, the dance was alright. I got why people were into SCs, but I didn't really get into them myself until maybe a year after the experience from the above paragraph.

I noticed when I was home for Christmas that Tootsies was charging $50 on Super Bowl Sunday. Why in the world would I want to watch the SB at an SC (even Tootsies) and then pay $50? I can almost furnish a party of my own for that.

This is what makes Tootsies so great...well, not that great since they're charging 50 to get in Sunday. You can go to the bar in the back and hear (and obviously see) the game, and then check out the women afterwards - or during commercials or whatever.
Outside that, it's probably better to stay home if you care about the game at all.
