@ Art: Yes, but to a lesser extent. It's more dramatic at home plate because the outcome of the collision involves whether or not a runs scores. And that run could potentially win the game.

My relationship with my ATF ended with an incident like that. (PM me if you'd like details. Too long a story for here.) I wish I'd had the sense to think of lines like that at the time. It would have eased the pain greatly. But, it was really not that big of a deal to me, because by that time she and I were in cities 1,200 miles apart from each other, and I only saw her about every three months up until certain texts started arriving from her b.f.

@ Chukko: I've had the opportunity to go on closing night. A chain of four clubs here (Puget Sound Region), were all forced to close on the same night as part of a plea deal. I went to one of them, expecting what you mentioned. If it happened, I sense I was just too early in the evening to catch any of it. I did hear that extras were being given wide out in the open at one of the other clubs I didn't go to. I had the phone numbers of all of the dancers I cared about anyway. No big deal to miss their closing night. Some didn't want to work that night anyway.
@ Grand: When clubs close without notice, it's mostly to maximize profits for the owners. If the dancers were given any advance notice, many would quit early in search of others jobs.

As much of a boobologist as my faves, know I am, only two have ever left a bra behind, at my house. One was intentional, I could tell. It needed to be thrown out anyway. As Jack mentioned, bras are expensive, particularly for my kind of dancers (heh, heh). So, most are careful not to leave them behind.

@ Papi: There is a club in the same general area as the Tropical Lei and the former Hawaii Theater (now Monarch's), that is named, "Flesh." That club was also owned together for a long time by the same owner as TL and HT. So, no particular connection to Hawaii or anything Asian-Pacific in its name.

My contributions seem to be from club names that are amusing, because they're in unusual places for that name. I just noticed this club among today's reviews: Alcatraz. If it had been in San Francisco, I wouldn't even be writing this. But, it's in Helsinki, Finland!

I find the mapping feature adequate for my interests. But, it was down for several months a while back. If you have the address, you can use other on line mapping sites: Google, Bing, Yahoo, and MapQuest.

Now I understand. I concur with Slick. I think some of the Deja Vu clubs (L.D. is a Deja Vu brand) tend to offer bed dances. I had one once at the Deja Vu, North Hollywood, CA. I won't do it again. I like a chair or sofa much better. In a bed, there's too much room for the dancer to roam around in. On a chair or sofa, she's forced to stay closer to the customer. In my experience, bed dances cost more, and you get less for them.

News articles like this seem to come up more frequently in recent years. I make this comment whenever this type of thread comes up: These articles are typical examples of how strip clubs treat dancers as independent contractors when it's to their economic advantage to do so, and treat them as employees when it's to their economic advantage to do so, no matter what contractual arrangements actually exist between dancers and their clubs.

When in strip clubs I try to convince dancers that they just can't live without the Club_Goer brand human bra. I tell them it's much more comfortable and supportive than conventional cloth bras.

A sentence that I find amusing is in the second paragraph:
“There are these myths,†including that sex burns at least 100 calories per session. . ."
I recall reading another article on the same subject many years ago. However, in that one when it came to describing the number of calories burned to reach orgasm, it differentiated between real and faked orgasm. A significantly higher number of calories was burned faking orgasm!

I'm not ready to give up yet. I plan to wait until late this month and then ask him if there's any likelihood he can restore full service (for the pics, that is). But, in the meantime you can load or re-load any pics you want.

I'm with Toysales and Rick. I have one dancer I've been OTCing for seven years now. It's gotten stale the last few times with her, so I'm politely declining requests of hers for more OTC. I still have others who are still very interesting to spend time with.
