Dancers carry paddle-type fans with their stage names on them, so even newbies know who they are. Somewhere in the club there is a counter with a dish for each dancer. Each dish starts out with 21 maraschino cherries on it. Custies can buy the cherries for $1 each. When a dancer's dish gets empty, she gets $20, the counter attendant gets $1, and the dancer goes on stage for one song. Then the dancer's dish gets refilled with 21 cherries.

Would be good on Fridays and Saturdays at clubs were lots of people come in and gawk and never stage tip. Might get it through their heads that you're supposed to kick in a few dollars if you want to see a stage show.
