hi guys,
when i logged in a few days ago after a long absence i noticed my profile pics and a lot of other people's profile pics were gone. can someone tell me what happened? sorry, i'm sure there was a big discussion about this earlier.

Carolynne, About November 21st, founder reported that the picture server was down and he wasn't sure if he could get it up again (my puns are always intended). See his exact words at:

I'm not ready to give up yet. I plan to wait until late this month and then ask him if there's any likelihood he can restore full service (for the pics, that is). But, in the meantime you can load or re-load any pics you want.
I am guessing that if it costs money, it probably won't happen. We shall see.
