    Airports And SC Fun?
Pure Platinum in San Diego is pretty close to the airport, and I guess Fantasy Shots isn't too far off, but neither one is a place where you'd really want to go. Especially so since Pure Platinum lost their liquor license. A little further north is the Deja Vu/Les Girls/Pacers/Body Shop cluster, but those are located where they are more because of the military presence (MCRD and former Naval Training Center) than because of the airport.

A new kind of whore house.
I don't know, jackslash. Some folks in Nevada are kind of oddly proud that brothels are permitted there, and the regulations that guide them mean that it's already tough for them to be located near high population areas. The Carson Valley area (Reno, Carson City, etc.) is the only real exception because the counties are so small - once a county hits a certain population figure, brothels aren't allowed, which is why there's no legal prostitution in Vegas/Clark County.

Also, Fry's doesn't necessarily carry everything - I was looking for a professional video card, and all they had was gamer stuff because pro cards don't sell.

STRIP CLUBS' WEBSITES - Any good ones out there ?
Cheetahs in San Diego has a great website (for a strip club). The main page has a window for their twitter feed, which is mostly useless, but does remind you that if you have a sporting event ticket you can use it for the cover to get into the club (still have to pre-buy two drinks at $8 though), and other special events. There's also a little slideshow of club pictures, which are curent with their recent remodeling, and a list of all the girls working the club at the moment, which updates for day and night shift. You get the same list if you go to the "Girls Working" tab from the main page, along with a photo of their Cheetahs Girl of the Month and an embedded video of an interview with the girl and part of her stage show. It's a shame the club is San Diego instead of someplace with better laws. 4Play in LA has a roll call too, but theirs is a little more cumbersome to read. They've also got a gallery of dancers that work there, but there were only two up last time I checked.

I totally agree. I was kvetching about the look of the site a couple days ago, but there's no problems now. It might even look better than it used to.

    So,.......What Happened To Tuscl?
I guess that "muddled" look applies to the main pages for discussions and reviews too - if I didn't know better, since there's only a single space between the teaser for this discussion and the photo of Lemmy, I'd guess that Lemmy is farmerart's avatar instead of motorhead's, since there's double spaces between the avatar, the giant link text, the post orginated by line, etc.

    So,.......What Happened To Tuscl?
I can get behind Founder's reasonging for the changes, and at this point my only gripe with the site is that it's just a bit ugly and hard to read. Otherwise, it's not a big deal. Even then, my only real aesthetic concern is that on the discussion pages like this, it's a bit hard to tell which comment belongs to who, or which avatar is associated with which post(er) - like, if the double spaces were eliminated between the avatar and username, username and comment time, and maybe between the comment time and the comment itself, it'd read easier, but then the comment time should be somehow differentiated from the comment content either by size or font. It all just looks kind of muddled right now.

New restaurant aims to be the "Hooters for women"
Maybe South Korea is really different, but here in the states I'd think that place would become a gay bar in no time.

Which states have the best stripping laws?
"When I lived in California, the clubs were (and probably still are) more lenient. Topless and nude lap dances are available." As mjx01 says, local laws vary within a state. LDs in San Diego sound exactly the same as Washington.

What Makes a Good Stage Show?
"The second gal was the multi-time national pole champion in San Diego. She could climb the pole to the ceiling, invert herself, and then walk in a circle about the pole on the ceiling. Then she could do the splits upside down on the ceiling. She had other moves to such as spinning herself backwards around the pole (maybe not a good description on my part as she said it was a move only a few gals could do.) There should be video of her someplace on the Net. And for the record I tipped her a $20 for her stage performance" This was probably Kennedy, who works at Deja Vu Midway. I think she's still there, and yeah, she's amazing to see on stage.

Staring at self in mirror during dance girls
It depends on the layout of the club and how strict management is, but she may have been keeping an eye out for bouncers.

minnow - did you go to Cheetahs on a weekend night? The one time I went on a Friday, it was all air dances, even in the VIP room, never mind the single song area.

    Preference
There's one in San Diego (Fantasy Shots) that's pretty much no-touch (there are theories about what being a regular will do for you there). But, San Diego is pretty much no-touch so I don't know what that place's point is.

Why no stage tipping - or even stage watching?
In San Diego, the tip rail is completely meaningless because the dancers can't touch you once they take anything off (maybe even before then), so your tip won't get you anything. Dancers make up for it by touring the room and collecting tips from everybody afer they're done. I don't know if there's any kind of no-contact rule in LA as well, or if it's just playing cool for them.

    "equipment failure" in another topic
There was a comedian who had a bit about having that exact experience, and joked about spiking his daughter's boyfriend's food or drink with blood pressure medication. The comedian died recently (within the last year or two) - I'll re-post with his name if I think of it. I was on medication a few years ago and things took a bit longer to activate than otherwise.

Your local Deja Vu probably has one, and the one I've seen definitely looked like it was professionally built. It also works as a change machine if you want to get more singles for tipping.

    Strip club or Bordello?
"Membership" is probably just the term the club prefers to use for "cover". Lots of places around San Diego do pretty much the same thing - Once you pay the cover at Cheetah's, you don't have to pay again for a year as long as you keep the card. At the Body Shop, it's a lifetime "membership" card. Probably no big deal.

Extra mileage but not much else
Seems like Rhino dancers not doing topless is pretty common - I've gotten that treatment a bunch of times. At least at the Van Nuys one, they'd do a 2-for-1 every once in a while (although they cut the songs shorter then) so you can take a test drive that way.

Strip Clubs in San Diego Suck
That's the policy all over California - it's state law that clubs that serve alcohol can only be topless.
