I was just thinking of how weird I am with bargains. I can spur-of-the-moment drop $100 at a strip club, but then I'll find myself being a stickler at the grocery store. Like, if a brand-name cereal costs $5.99, and the generic brand costs $3.99, I'll always buy the generic brand. For some reason, my brain thinks it's madness to over-spend for ridiculously priced groceries, whereas, at the club, I'll drop an extra $20 for one more dance without thinking about it.

I like grinding as well. I used to club a lot in a warm-weather state where it was painfully hot during the summer, so shorts were universally accepted. There's nothing quite like a dancer slyly reaching her hand up the shorts and gripping/maneuvering the stick for a good 10-15 seconds before continuing on with the dance.

Rational part of brain: "Well, I hope she all right for herself in life"
Irrational part of brain: "But she didn't even tell me she was moving!"
Rational part: "Dude, she's a stripper. You don't even know her real name. She doesn't have to tell you anything."
Irrational part: "But we had a special connection!"
Rational part: "Let it go and move on."
And on and on. You know the drill.

I think finding the right set of guys is obviously the way to go. I'm always afraid I'll find a couple guys who would like to go--but then we get there and they just want to watch, which would in turn make me feel funny if I want to get the usually offered high-mileage floor dances.

They never tell you what you need to know.
On a serious note (the $3,000 aside) I've thought about getting a part-time job. This is much easier accomplished, however, if you don't have a family to worry about. If you don't have a ton of disposable income and are still looking to keep ypur club habits going, it can be a good option. Say you work Tuesday evening, Thursday evening, and perhaps on Saturday.
With a bit of research and some luck, you could find something that will make you an extra $200 a week maybe. Thought it doesn't seem like a ton of money, that adds up over time ($800-$900 per month). You could have some significant fun with that kind of extra cash.

I'll likely be there in February or March. Hope it aint bitter cold. I've been wanting to try the Hamilton clubs for quite some time--and Henry VIII and Bogart's appear to be the way to go. I'm sure Henry VIII South and John's Hot Spot are good, but I don't want to do a ton of cabbing around.

I'm with all the other respondents. People may not discriminate against customers based on race, sex, religion, or sexual orientation. Think about how it would sound if a business said: "It is against my religion to bake a wedding cake for a Jewish couple," or, "It is against my religion to bake a cake for a black couple." Even if you believe a particular god is against these things, you may not use those beliefs to discriminate against others in a secular democracy.

Hmm. One more thing. Is there any kind of shuttle/train line that runs between downtown Detroit and the airport? It looks like the airport is actually well west of downtown Detroit.
Thanks.

Thanks, man. I guess I'll have to decide between the two areas. Leaning heavily toward the Inkster clubs, though. I should be able to have a good time there, I think.

I'd heard that the clubs in MD--especially the black dive ones--are great for mileage. A guy told me, however, that PG County is pretty rough, and that walking around over there is not generally a good idea. He also told me to not under any circumstances get caught in PG County after dark. lol. So I guess I'll heed the advice.

Don't know them. They're just pictures pulled off random tumblr porn sites. I'm not really sure why these kinds of women do it for me. I think maybe it's because I associate women in their early 20s as full of drama (which they certainly can be sometimes). Women in their 40s (at least in the back of my mind) are more straightforward with what they want.

Well, I vote Democrat. There are some differences between the parties that deserve to be talked about: foreign policy, healthcare, education, etc, all deserve to be debated. Any good ideas the GOP might possibly have on these issues, however, is offset by their odd anti-science predilections. Continuing to deny climate change is unacceptable. Bashing gay people is unacceptable. Trying to have creationism/intelligent design taught in public schools is unacceptable. People under 30 (which I am not) largely recognize this, and the GOP--given the demographic changes that are already underway--will eventually be forced to moderate on these issues or become completely nonviable in national elections.

Carson seems like a nice guy, but his views on science are--to put it nicely--crazy. He "doesn't know how old the Earth is" (his words), thinks the Big Bang theory is false, and thinks that evolution is a lie and that Darwin wrote "Origin of the Species" under the influence of Satan.

I feel like blatantly political discussions are never productive especially when they come with headline tags like "Kerry's a fool!" or "Jeb Bush is an idiot!" If the TUSCL board is anything like the American public as a whole (and it appears that it is), about half of the posters are liberal and half are conservative. It generally leads to shouting matches, and no one ever changes their mind. To each their own, though, I guess.

Having lived in Phoenix for many years, I've found Mexicans to be--in many cases--high mileage. Unlike many of the traditional American girls (black or white) in the Phoenix area, I find the Spanish-as-a-first-language strippers are hard-working girls who are simply supporting their immigrant families, who are often poor. For me, then, Viva Mexico!

To be fair (and I don't know how often your friend has been to strip clubs), I was anxious in them when I first started going to them as well. It's an odd thing to have bare-breasted ladies chatting you up, often one after the other, some of them giving your crotch a rub when they sit down to talk to you for a few minutes. I eventually became comfortable. As a shy person, I'm still much more comfortable (for some odd reason) having chicks grind on me than I am chatting with them about the weather.
To your point, though, I don't like going to clubs with other people. I'd be too worried about how long they wanted to stay, if they were having fun, etc. When it's just me, I can focus on the women 100%.

Not saying that she needs to be attracted to you enough to start dating you or anything even close to that. All I'm saying is that girls respond more to good conversation and respectful personalities more than men, who are more likely to be almost entirely focused on looks.

Right. Money is obviously the primary thing. My main general point, however, is that an age difference does not necessarily prevent friendship, attraction, etc.

Thanks for the response. I did have one dancer several years back who said she "only did that kind of stuff with her boyfriend," so I stopped asking for it for awhile.
She told me that hard grinding and overtly sexual dance moves were actually easier than cuddling/allowing a customer to hold her, because the latter seemed too personal/romantic, etc.--especially with someone she didn't really know.
So I assumed most dancers felt this way.

This doesn't make too much sense to me. $1,000 per visit for regular dances without any hint of extras? That's a hell of a lot of money. You must be rollin' in some serious dough. Also, are you telling me that a dancer is flat our refusing to take $300 from you for dances? This seems like a messed up situation even to me, and I've been played more times than I'm willing to admit.

As a side note: For me, if I have two orgasms kinda close together (within 1 to 2 hours), the second one always feels more powerful. Not sure why that is.
