Taking Washington DC Metro to Clubs

Any information would be very much appreciated:

I'm likely to be in DC next month, but will be using the Metro to get around once in the city. Can I get to any of the dives/high-mileage clubs on the Metro? Or, as I've heard, are these high-mileage clubs located in such high-crime areas that it would not be wise to try to walk to them after getting off the train.

Thanks.

I went to a DC club once. I drove by, saw the neighborhood, saw the building, and drove to Baltimore. Stay away or drive yourself to Baltimore.

I went to Camelot in DC years ago and it was easily one of the worst experiences in my illustrious strip clubbing career. There was zero contact at the stage. A bottle of beer was $9 and the waitress kept pushing them on us every 15-20 minutes. If we refused to keep buying drinks, we would be kicked out, at least that is what she threatened. I don't think there were even lap dances there IIRC.

There are no high mileage dives in DC. The two true dives - Macombo and Royal Palace - are as bad with contact as anywhere else. You also definitely do NOT want to be wandering around outside of Macombo at night.

DC really sucks. Most people attribute this to the fact that there are no LDs, but that's only half the story. The other half is that there is a fuck ton of money (lawyers, lobbyists, businessmen, etc.) chasing a very limited supply of strippers. So unless you want to tip a Benji or more just for the privilege of having a girl deign to sit and talk with you and many Benjies more to get her OTC, then all the clubs are really good for is eye candy.

But just to add: A 45 minute ride on an Amtrak train will put you in Baltimore, which is a much better (relatively) strip club environment. You could even stay in Baltimore and commute to DC each day, which I did once.

Royal Palace was a very short walk from my Hotel the last time I was in D.C, it's also a short walk from the Dupont Circle station. Very strange club. Advertised that it opens at noon, yet the club didn't open any day I was there until 7:00 PM. There were about ten dancers the one day I visited, who ranged in looks mostly from 5 to 7, with one very popular 8 and one 3. Nude club, so it had that going with it, but there was one I would pay not to see naked, the only pure ugly Asian I have ever seen.

There were no stage side chair, only club I ever went to with no stage side seats. Almost all dancers did a reverse strip tease to the music as they left the stage. No contact whatsoever, yet for some reason all the dancers put a piece of cloth or towel on your lap, even though one never even had more than 10 seconds contact with my lap the entire time. The DJ was clueless, the sound system failed at least 3 times, and the dancers seemed to know the system better than him. They should have hired the Asian gal as the DJ, since she seemed to know how to work the system better than him.

Takeout is available there. since one of the dancers I tried offered to see me at my hotel, and I saw the one hot dancer enter the elevator in the hotel later in the week with a fairly rich looking older gentleman.

Personally I think you would be better off sticking with an escort in D.C.. There were a lot advertised working in the Dupont Circle area, and the competition is so high that the prices advertised were not as high as I would have expected. I saw one hot looing and well reviewed gal, who I contacted but was booked up the entire week, at several restaurants. She was one of the most reasonable, and offered 2 hours plus dinner for 500.

Lived in DC for three years. The clubs there sucked, sucked, sucked, sucked, sucked. Did I mention they sucked? Expensive drinks and no contact. As rl27 said, find an escort.

Yeah; the DMV as it's referred (DC, MD, VA) is pretty-bad w/ only MD having worthwhile clubs.

I have not SCed in the area but everyone that has says DC is not worth it b/c of zero-contact – either SC in MD or don't SC at all IMO.

I have not been there, but my understanding is that mongers go to the adjacent Prince George County Maryland spots. Lots of Black anything goes places there. Many are members only; and so once it is set up like that, then there are very few enforceable restrictions.

You are interested in public transit? Probably there is someway to use it.

I'd heard that the clubs in MD--especially the black dive ones--are great for mileage. A guy told me, however, that PG County is pretty rough, and that walking around over there is not generally a good idea. He also told me to not under any circumstances get caught in PG County after dark. lol. So I guess I'll heed the advice.

People talk too much shit – I've been hitting all-black clubs in not the best hood for over a decade – and yeah; not a good-idea to be walking-around in those hoods – but if you have a car is a non-issue.

If you can rent a car or use Uber; then you have options and you should not be deterred; but if solely relying on public transportation; then that's another story.

"DC" and "high mileage" do not belong in the same sentence because there is ZERO mileage. period. Go to MD, accept the look but no touch rules, or give the fuck up.

I think you need to use common sense everywhere. But I just let it roll off me when guys here post about "bad neighborhoods".

Everybody seems to like PGC Maryland, including white guys at the black clubs. blackstripclubs.net was filled with this.

Neighborhoods in the U.S. hardly get worse than Washington Park, a down-at-the-heels village just east of East St Louis -- but this not-so-young white guy is there every month or so. I used to go only during the day, but my last couple of visits to Dollie's were late at night, leaving after midnight. By 10pm many of the customers and almost all of the dancers are black, but everyone's nice to me and it's all good.

When I'm in Chicago, I club almost exclusively in Chicago Heights and Harvey, not the best of neighborhoods. I'm sure I'll hit clubs in Prince Georges County the next time I'm in D.C. I guess you could call me a one-man racial reconciliation squad, bringing harmony between the races one black stripper at a time :)
