Close to Hobby - the Ritz; hands down the best club in that part of town. $7 cover during day; Champagne room is $75 bucks and the girls who ask if you are VIP are the players. If you go often enough it's worth it to buy a lifetime VIP membership...on sale for $700. Decent drinks, wait staff is friendly; music could be better. IMHO day shift yields best results for extras - usually it's a 23 year old mommy making ends meet. Night time is the for the pros looking for $400-500 for their time. Good luck.

Cas3850 - do yourself a favor and follow some discussions more, read some articles...a newbie that has no posts and just joined raises some flags when they start asking "what is legal"...I'm sure you're not a cop or any LE but someone may mistake you for one.

A buddy of mine visits TJ and he laid off for some time when the violence was really bad...he's been back twice now and all is well according to him. Adelitas is his favorite. $5 cab ride all over town..the best way to do it. Good Luck..

Not speaking for anyone else, I go because I like seeing naked women. My wife knows it, she's okay with it....and she reminds me regularly "they really don't like you, they like your money". Some guys spend $400-500 a month playing golf, others spend $2,000 a month on a boat. Get off your soap box.

The Block is pretty seedy so I agree with sctripper and would advise day trips only. The clubs are full of hustle so be careful...girls will approach with the "would you like some company?" line and as soon as she sits down you'll be hustled for a $20-30 drink. When I was a young man, I used to frequent the Block and recall the first time I heard that a dancer's drink was $20..I flinched and she said calmly "Hon, you're not buying the drink, you're buying the company". So I bought it. Once you've paid that there is generally a fair amount of groping and some extras in the Champagne room.
The Block today is only two blocks from South St. to Gay Street. There are 2-3 clubs I'd recommend on Custom House Ave...righth off the Block. My personal fave is "The Mousetrap"...smallish, dark, usually 3-4 dancers during the day and generally safe. Bring plenty of dough.

Pothead, I'm with you..I want some fun involved when I go to a SC which typically means something other than "you wanna dance"? The best times generally happen when a dancer can start a conversation and catch my interest or make me smile...work and make me feel special that's the ticket.
My personal corollary is the more interesting a girl is the more money she can make. I'm not a big fan of fake tit blow up doll types..how plastic can you get?
