There was a dancer at bogarts with a bad attitude who routinely gave me a hard time. She just wasn't my type - a little thick in the stomach, small boobs, long straight thin brown hair, glasses. Apparently thought she was hot shit, however. One time when I told her I was waiting for someone, she asked "Who?" When I told her (it was a great looking MILF) she said "I guess you don't like the cute girls" and walked away. Another time I was in the VIP, and she was about to head into one of the two curtained areas (all they had at the time) when my dancer said "Hey, we're next". Our friend cursed, and when I chuckled, she whirled around on me and laughed sarcastically, like a wicked witch. Finally she came up to me near closing time one night, and said "Two dances for $30." When I politely declined, she lowered it to $20, then $10, then, in exasperation, to $5. When I still politely declined, she said, "What are you, a fucking homosexual?" and stalked off. Ah, the good times...

Ask for a price for a specific service... when she tells you, just say "I'm sorry, but that's too much for me" and watch the price drop. Most dancers will take about half of what they originally propose. If that makes you feel cheap then tip well if the service is good.

Another 1/1 review was posted recently... the weird thing is that it refers to Tuesday as the $10 dance special night, when the last time I checked it was still Thursday... Bogarts is on Tuesday.

I've been to that place. All they sell is 3.2 beer. Impossible to drink too much.
Actually, it's a pretty weird place. No contact. Dancers won't even take money directly from you, only from the stage floor. There's no VIP, no private dances, no floor dances. Dancers, however, are some of the most incredible I've seen - the word acrobat comes to mind. Not sure how they make money, because when it's slow they just pick up a few georges per set. When I was leaving, I saw a dancer who had just finished her shift driving off in a Jag. Another weird thing - dancers must wear a full length dress (and I mean high collar to floor) when traveling between dressing room and stage, and be escorted by a bouncer.

I think sweat is sexy... but there's a big difference between sweat and B.O... or worse.
Once had a dancer switch to an inverted position during a dance... basically stuck her ass in my face with her hands down on the floor. Would have been great, except for the bad wipe-job smell. I had to bite my tongue to keep from saying "Clean up on aisle #2!!!"

Visited a club in Akron once with a juke box. Girls only danced on stage when they felt like it, so sometimes there would be a break in songs... and the dancers in the VIP would shout "Hello!!???!! Start another damn song!!!"
In Bogarts one day a dancer came stomping down the stairs from the VIP loudly cursing the DJ (loud enough for him to hear) about the length of the last song played... while her customer walked sheepishly behind her. Typical example of how many of them just don't get it. If your dancer acts like it was torture to sit on your lap for 6 minutes instead of 4, will she get your repeat business?

I visit some clubs in the detroit area that could easily be classified as seedy, but I'm happy to say I have never been scammed like this.
I've never been asked to pay up front. A few times I've been asked if I was sure I could cover the bill... but flashing a wad silenced the concerns. If I was asked to pay up front or put money out I would just walk away.
Occasionally I think a dancer is inflating the song count, but only by 1 or 2. I'm pretty sure I get an equal number of undercounts.
Once I had a dancer tell me on $10 dance night that she didn't do $10 dances (after we arrived in the vip). Showed me what I would get for $10 (air dance) and $20 (good grind). If she wasn't the sister of a fav I probably would have walked, but I said okay since it would have been a fair value any other day of the week.
Biggest rip-off I've ever experienced was buying a dancer a drink for $12! If that's the worst I can say I can't complain at all!

All the strippers I know closely monitor their portfolios with their smartphones, and often interrupt their dances to talk to their brokers. Naturally they got calls when the bad news came out, and immediately started trying to up their incomes so their retirement plans wouldn't have to be put on hold.
