I don't have kids, but I also don't think it's a sympathy ploy either... maybe with the girls that are not good looking and can't hold a conversation... but like it was said, people talk about their kids and come on... most guys in the club have kids too... it's a way to have a quick common bond, case in point "really, what baseball team does your son play for? Really, I think we play you guys"... I mean, I would talk about my cat if it wasn't creepy and dumb... :)

I worked there for 4 years, I've seen it probably 7 times there, and I just want you to know it probably was NOT a customer, it was probably another girl. Either through jealousy, because someone paid her or because she has enemies... ALL 7 times and the 2 other times that I have seen it in a different club ALL have come from other women, mostly wait staff...
These things happen, I've been drugged also in a strip club (and twice at other clubs) GHB is an evil, evil drug and it's very powerful.
That club used to be so nice, it's sad to see it turn so dark and ghetto, it's gross. When I was working (a little over a year ago) GHB was not the largest problem, but I won't go into that...
It comes with the territory though, let it be a lesson to your friend that drinking at work is NEVER a good idea, no matter what.

I've known several male dancers in Vegas, New York, Chicago and Houston and I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but non of them made "good" money. They all were very, very attractive but the downfall (for them, I don't know, maybe not you) is 90% of your clients are Gay Males.

Interesting, I've never heard of a 2 for 1 at a club and I've been dancing for 5 years... :) I'd be kind of pissed if I had to dance for free though, sounds like bullshit to me (good for YOU!) but as an "independant contractor" it's amazing that the club could actually force the girls to give free dances. I guess you could always go to the back though... Doesn't sound like a place that management has the best interest for the girls. I'm glad that I work with people that understand that price cutting each other is not going to make anyone money.
I've had a couple of friends come down from their prices, we make the bulk of our money by having customer's pay us to entertain and sit with them by the hour.
Anyway, very interesting, I'm gonna have to share the 2for1 subject later in the locker room and see if any of the gals have had this experience...

What is uptime? I'm not familiar... I guess we don't have that, but then again I work in a very "upscale" club so we don't have drink specials either (that's what the bottle of vodka in your locker is for!) hahaha

2 things, why don't they have a metal detector if it's that bad? I'm paranoid as it is so thanks for this :) Oh, and the 2nd thing, as a dancer for more than 5 years, it's a very known fact that the "day" girls at clubs are much cleaner and nicer than the "night" girls, as most "day" girls have families, participate in their community and do other things besides wake up at 6pm and go to work... Just saying...

Ok, I do the SAME thing, I tip everyone too... oh, and I OVERTIP everyone, I tip the guy at starbucks 5 bucks, I tip wait staff at restaraunts generally 100% and if something isn't happening fast enough (getting into a club, food coming out, etc.) I tip... I tip the fed ex guy and I tip the the girls that work in my apartment building for doing stuff for me (like grabbing my mail or signing for a package)
I think that's the one big thing that I have learned that "money makes the world go round" and if you want something done give someone a reason to do it... actually it's really helped me in "real life" as far as being able to see the structure of business and the emphasis on "wants" and "needs".
Funny you said that, I was talking to a fellow dancer about this the other day, about tipping the DJ, the managers, the waitress the house mom, the valet, it gets expensive, I would say last nite I probably tipped out about $120 which is insane if you think about it... me working 5 days a week that's $2400 a MONTH... that's an income by its self, and that doesn't even include house fees...

IMO honestly, you can get any girl OTC if you want her bad enough. Show her consistency and appreciation and make it worth her wild. I have known lots of girls that say these kind of things until the time comes and she realizes that she has known you for quite some time and that you are not going to stalk her and chop her up and eat her (seriously, being friends with "us" is worth a lot more than guys will ever know) I have a lot of club guy "friends" that I call when I'm bored and don't want to go out alone... it's always a great time, it's always a nice place and good atmosphere and company and really, who can complain about being able to go where ever you want for free and be treated like a princess? The guys that are friends I generally have known for about 4 years btw.

That's sick guys... seriously... here's my opinion...
First off, I work in a club that serves a full restaraunt style menu, lunch, dinner, desert, etc. I AVOID all men while they worder food... quite frankly because I think it's RUDE... actually the waitress' will tell you "oh, he just ordered, I'll let you know when he is done" so that things like this (people thinking you want to eat with them) will not happen, my club is VERY strict on this... we are allowed to order food but at NO time are we allowed to be eating on the "floor" (it's like chewing gum or talking on a cell phone, it's just tacky) Most importantly I am APPAULED at the women that would want to eat in front of you... are they just fucking stupid? (don't answer...) You are sexy, you are a fantasy you are everyman's dream, and I'm not sure about you guys but I am pretty sure that everyman's dream does not include seeing some naked girl spill food all over her... disgusting...

I worked at the St. James for 4 years, women are allowed, they just have to be with a male, and there has to be one male per female.
And it is true that women can NOT get lap dances there, the reasons that were given to me were said to be because there was to much "drama" in the past...
Honestly, I don't mind couples or women in the club, the club I work at now allows women and there are quite a bit of couples that come in on the weekend. For the most part women are fun, they are really intrigued and I think they have a lot more respect for the dancers as far as realizing how hard it is dealing with men every day... I've only had one "disgruntled" wife and the funny thing is she was a former stripper... Besides the girls wanting to dance for their boyfriends in the club (leave that to the professionals) I really don't see a problem as long as people are respectful and have a good time...
