SJG: Check your PM. I'm not willing to post club names in a public forum for fear that the clubs will further constrain the fun in a private dance.
I like the suggestion for obscuring the cameras with garments or some opaque substance! I'd love to know which cameras are really being monitored versus those that are there for show and deterrence of extra curricular activities.

I had some cash stolen from my wallet during a lap dance at the Flight Club, an upscale gentleman's club near the Detroit, MI airport. Let me describe my experience in hopes that others will avoid similar mistakes.
I've been to the Flight Club many times, so I'm not a rookie, although I'd classify my mistake as a rookie mistake, partly attributable to my first every duo lap dance. I chatted with two dancers, stage names were Brandy (upper 20's brunette who is fond of talking about her T shirt business and her role as caretaker for her younger siblings) and Heather (early 20's, attractive girl next door face, nice body). Brandy suggested a private dance with both of them and we agreed to $100 for each ($200 total).
At the Flight Club, the VIP area is a series of overstuffed couches, separated from adjacent VIP couches by heavy curtains. During the dance, while Heather rubbed her crotch on my face (thus blocking my vision of the VIP area), Brandy removed my trousers (I didn't complain) and placed them on the floor (there was my mistake, I didn't insist that my trousers and wallet be placed within sight and within easy reach). In a VIP dance with only one dancer, it is easy to monitor what the single dancer is doing. With two dancers, it is not easy to monitor every move of both dancers. Anyway, when the dance finished (yep, it was fun with lots of contact and lots of girl-girl action also), I retrieved my pants from the floor to pay the agreed upon charges. My wallet had been moved from the back pocket to a side pocket and my collection of $20 had been significantly reduced (probably by at least $100) and had been relocated in my wallet. I confronted the dancers who of course claimed no knowledge of anything. "Maybe your money fell out"-- yeah, right. I also reported the theft to the bouncer who was conveniently available just outside the VIP area and offered an accurate dance count (5 songs). He offered to convey my complaint to the manager but offered no remedy. In retrospect, I suspect that one of the dancers, Brandy, either shoved my pants and wallet under the heavy curtains to an accomplice or Brandy removed the cash herself. If there was an accomplice in the adjacent VIP area, it could have been the bouncer for all I know. Anyhow, I found enough cash to pay the dancers and departed, poorer but much wiser for the experience.
This was really unfortunate in multiple ways-- I would have been tempted to tip the dancers, not as much as was stolen from my wallet but at lease $20 each. After all, they were fun for 5 songs and both demonstrated some impressive deep throat skills (but only on my hand, not a more sensitive part of my body). Also, they end up with a review on TUSCL that mentions their stage names (which I typically don't mention in reviews) as a "heads up" to others customers of the Flight Club. Not sure if such reviews have any actual impact on the business for the Flight Club but I do hope that any readers of this review will avoid dances with Brandy (and to a lesser extent with Heather who seemed to be a more passive accomplice). There are a number of other attractive dancers at Flight Club to select. At minimum, I hope that readers learn from my mistake and take steps to secure their wallet if they arrange for a dance from either Brandy or Heather.

Thanks for supplying some links to your sources. I see nothing in these sources to support your claim of 1 in 3 of Atlantans have HIV/AIDS. You could have made the same point with accurate statistics. Nothing is risk free! Maybe abstinence is risk free but you'll die of terminal boredom.
Now a more interesting question would be what % of dancers (and other sex workers), either at Follies or elsewhere, are HIV positive (and do they know that they are infected)? This is actually one more argument for legalizing and regulating prostitution-- you can require that sex workers get tested (and treated) periodically.

It sounds like there is a lot of variability in the AMP experience across different regions of the country. In Michigan, I've had pretty good experiences at AMPs. They typically provide an enjoyable table shower, decent massage, and a range of condom-protected services, with the exception of Greek. The only downside is that the AMPs that I've visited often have only two "girls" working so you don't get much of a choice.
I would be pleased to see the addition of spa reviews on TUSCL. I've never ponied up the money to register for the spa review sites, such as rubmaps.

I agree with skibum! Unfortunately, this comment would apply to nearly every state. We have much to be proud of in the USA but our overly moralistic, hypocritical approach to sexuality, including consensual business deals involving sex, are a source of embarrassment.

Thanks for the improvements.
I can now see club reviews posted by date. I can also select a quick view (just a listing of the clubs with a review on a specific date; if you click on a club that has a review, it opens the club web page with its most recent review). I really like this feature as it helps me sort through clubs that I follow for recent reviews.
You do have two tabs that seem to go to the same place, recent reviews and new reviews.
Otherwise, thanks for making improvements in the functionality of the new format.

No luck seeing reviews from prior days on the "recent reviews" tab. All I'm getting is the reviews for the current date and scrolling down does not reveal any additional dates.
I'm using Chrome on a Mac laptop.

Where is the "search" function located?
On the previous format, I used the "recent reviews" tab. I liked the fact that you could click a recent date and see a listing of all the reviews that had been published on that particular date. I could go back and "catch up" by seeing reviews that had been published yesterday, and the day before and back about a dozen days. In the new format, all I can see is reviews that have been published today. The reviews sorted by prior dates are not visible. This makes it much harder to keep up with recently posted reviews.

Check maps.google.com or get a Florida map (I still enjoy a printed map!). The Villages are about 60 miles south of Gainesville and no where near Fort Meyers.

I mention names under two conditions:
1) if I have positive things to say about a dancer, I'll recommend her by name but without giving details of anything that could get her in trouble. For example, "I had a very enjoyable private dance from Suzie."
2) I'll also mention names to "out" a ROB. For example, "customers should steer clear of Suzie, who is known for bait and switch tactics and miscounting dances."
I also know that this is a relatively public forum, available to dancers, managers and even LEO. So learn to use the private messages if you want to request or share more explicit information.

I read a few of the Denver reviews. It sounds like mileage is pretty limited (as in no extras) and private dance prices are unusually high (40-50 per song).
Have I drawn the wrong conclusion?
Maybe my expectations have been warped by visiting the clubs in Detroit?

On the whole, Chicago clubs are very disappointing for a major city. Depends on what you're looking for in a strip club. A few of the clubs in South Chicago have some selling points (e.g., Arnie's is high mileage with predominantly black dancers) but these clubs will require transportation and maybe a bit of caution and vigilance.

Landing strip and Penthouse would top my list for Saturday afternoon entertainment. On a budget? You might try Criket or Henry VIIIN. Not sure about BTs Dearborn.
Flight club and Player's are very weak on Saturday afternoons, in my experience.

For high mileage (assuming that's what HM means) go to Tijuana instead. San Francisco clubs are overpriced and not all that great for such a liberal/tolerant city.

So if the prudish American politicians would legalize prostitution, we would probably reduce human trafficking and have some high end bordellos to compete with the FKK clubs in Germany (and the other countries where prostitution is legal and safe!)

Pole tricks are only OK.
Two better sales techniques:
1. Play with yourself on stage (probably over, not under, your g string, unless you're working at a very permissive club) and act like you're enjoying it. This is a sex-oriented business. You can set your own limits but whatever you can to do promote sexual fantasies will be well received.
2. Offer some contact when customers approach the stage to tip you. I've had contact that ranges from a kiss on the cheek, to boobs in the face to a subtle strip club "hand shake" (over the pants, typically).

Hong Kong in Tijuana. I prefer Hong Kong over its sister club, Adelitas, because it functions more like a strip club with stage performances, some pretty interesting girl on girl shaving cream shows and opportunities for casual groping for a dollar tip. Adelitas is still quite good but there is less focus on stage performances and the girls simply hang around the club waiting for a proposition.
In the states, I would rank many of the Metro Detroit clubs high on the value dimension, including Criket, Players, Bogarts and Landing Strip, all of which provide a variety of dancers (variable quality depending on the club) but with private fun available at a decent price point.
I agree with the positive rankings for Hi Liter (Phoenix) and the COI (California) clubs. Scarletts at Ybor City (Tampa) is also quite good on the value dimension.
