Damn, it finally happened to me and got pick pocketed at strip club. Bitch was giving me some UHM dances and after I got home noticed several large bills missing from my wallet (earlier at lunch saw them in my wallet). Googled this topic and got lots of information not relevant to my case. Is it possible for those clever hands to slip in your pocket and lift bills out of your wallet? I carry my wallet in back pocket and never take it out at the club. Always carry strip club cash in my front pockets. To make it worse, Shadowcat warned me about this cunt.
My lessons learned:
1. Be extra careful in dark clubs.
2. Listen to Shadowcat.
I don't think a dancer could snag your billfold, lighten it, then return it undetected to your pocket. A wad of loose bills may be another matter. Lately I've been wearing shorts with zipped or buttoned cargo pockets in order to avoid this very thing. A Mexican Federale once advised me to avoid keeping all my cash in one pocket; "One pocket for the party, the other pocket for bribes." And if you don't need a wallet, leave it home, or secure it in the car.
In all my crazy activities with whores, strippers, druggies, and other lowlifes, I've only been ripped off once. I was doing a 3 way with my ATF & a crackwhore friend of hers. The crackwhore was to be paid $100.
When we got down to it, my ATF was blowing me while the other bitch was giving me a rim job on the condition that she could swallow my cum ( her condition, not mine). Well her tongue was up my ass half way to my large intestine when she "had to pee". I kept at it with my ATF and the other gal soon returned and they finished me off. The crackhead took off while we stayed in bed. Later I got dressed, pulled out my wallet which had been in my pants pocket and it was light a single $100 bill. There were 3 others there untouched but I'm guessing she thought I wouldn't miss one.
Live & learn.
Some dancers get desperate for money and think they won't get caught or take chances. They think they are experts at taking money so this is just a faster way probably in their minds. Illegal as well but they must think they are so good, they won't get caught. I've heard about various methods used to steal money. Many guys don't expect it and aren't thinking a dancer would resort to stealing. They probably figure even if they get caught, they won't go to jail. I had it happen to me one time and always got suspicious if a dancer tried to put her hands anywhere near my pockets again.
It pisses off strip club customers and they stop visiting the club. I know of one club that a dancer killed the business. I remember a manager telling me one dancer must have been doing it for a whole year or two and his crowd sucked at that point. He had ignored red flags too long. The other dancers didn't want to say anything. The manager didn't let dancers hang around in the lap dance room by themselves after that. Bouncer watched or she left the room with the customer so that she couldn't retrieve a wallet from the sofa she slid out during the dance. Never heard of sliding money out of a wallet while keeping it in the pants.
The 90% of dancers that are honest and that will actually give you change back from overpaying for a dance probably don't like a bad apple making their lives more difficult. I say 90% but probably less than half will give you money back if you overpay. At least 50% will think it's a tip. I'd say 1 in a 1000 dancers may resort to outright stealing or theft. Some clubs with the wrong dancers could have more than one. Could be only 1 in 10,000 if business is ok. Probably 10% or more of dancers in general probably have the skills.
I myself have been able to hear the clicking in a combination lock and was able to unlock it many years ago during a college summer job. They were surprised and I heard all kinds of jokes about what other hobbies I might have on the side. I could hear the tumblers clicking. I didn't think it was that difficult. I wasn't an expert and it was the first or second lock I cracked open. I think it took me 15 or 20 minutes as well. An expert probably could do it in seconds. Sliding money out of drinking customers pockets while distracted by a pretty girl should be easy for many dancers. Easy but with the risk of paying thousands in court fines and possible jail time, plus getting fired, possibly arrested.
VBD, sorry to hear this happened to you! Shadowcat has warned me about her, too.
It's no accident that my strip club pants and shorts all have pockets that have zippers, buttons, or velcro. Not that that's a guarantee, but I assume it lessens the risk.
A few years ago, I got my wallet lifted in Chicago while I was on the train, going from from downtown to O'Hare Airport. (Lemme tell ya, getting through the TSA checkpoint was a real challenge without any identification!) After that, because I'm *really* wary in strip clubs, I got an oversized wallet that I keep in my back pocket. Because of its size, it's really, really hard to get it in and out of that pocket, which is a royal PITA whenever I'm paying for drinks or dances. However, if anyone tries to lift my wallet, they'll be tugging at it for about 15 minutes, and I'd be a real PL not to notice that.
It's not just customers that can be ripped off. One of the girls at my favorite Baltimore club had $200 removed from her purse which was right behind her when she turned to talk to another girl. It only takes a few seconds.
I did tell management when it happened to me and they said to mark my bills so that if she does it again we can prove it. No point in doing that. After the ass chewing I gave her, she hasn't come near me. Since that was quit awhile ago, I thought that she might have learned her lesson.
If I have khaki or Khaki shorts on I usually button the back pocket with the wallet in it, though if your pants are at your ankles it probably doesn't do much, but might make it a little harder.
I got hit twice - about 10 years ago at a black dive in Ft Worth, TX, the doorman doing the frisk expertly swiped $200 from my shallow sweatpants pocket, I did not notice till 15 minutes later when I got some dances and went to pay for my dances (had to use the club ATM).
Second time at a black dive in Houston, TX - a petite black girl sat on my right leg talking to me and swiped 15-singles from my left swatpants pocket while she was sitting w/ me - unbeknownst I went for some sofa dances with her and I felt her hand near my other pocket and pushed it away but didn't think much of it (I thought it was by accident but I was trying to be safe), I had $200 in the other pocket she was trying to get to during the dances that she couldn't get to while sitting on that leg while she was talking to me - after the dances I went to the bathroom then I went to organize my $$$ and that is when I noticed all my singles where gone and also realized when her hand was near my pocket while she danced for me it was her trying to swipe the rest of my $$$ - I told the "manager" and surprise "there was nothing he could do".
I still go to black clubs almost exclusively where I get patted down by a doorguy on every visit day or night but I watch his hands carefully and immediately check my pockets once inside just in case. In the black clubs I hit the dances are floor dances mostly on barstools so I usually put my $$$ in my socks but if I get sofa dances then I don't put th $$$ in my socks b/c some dancers bend over and hold onto your ankles and your socks may slide down.
i guess i've been lucky. only one time have i encountered a pick pocket... in tj at the corner of ninos heros and the alley. a walker that bumped into me and propositioned me. i quickly checked within a couple seconds and sure enough the walker had taken my money and passport card and hong kong vip card. i quickly grabbed her and she returned my stuff. then she had the nerve to ask me for a tip!
From a 2011 review. Probably worth a repost in this Discussion.
I had some cash stolen from my wallet during a lap dance at the Flight Club, an upscale gentleman's club near the Detroit, MI airport. Let me describe my experience in hopes that others will avoid similar mistakes.
I've been to the Flight Club many times, so I'm not a rookie, although I'd classify my mistake as a rookie mistake, partly attributable to my first every duo lap dance. I chatted with two dancers, stage names were Brandy (upper 20's brunette who is fond of talking about her T shirt business and her role as caretaker for her younger siblings) and Heather (early 20's, attractive girl next door face, nice body). Brandy suggested a private dance with both of them and we agreed to $100 for each ($200 total).
At the Flight Club, the VIP area is a series of overstuffed couches, separated from adjacent VIP couches by heavy curtains. During the dance, while Heather rubbed her crotch on my face (thus blocking my vision of the VIP area), Brandy removed my trousers (I didn't complain) and placed them on the floor (there was my mistake, I didn't insist that my trousers and wallet be placed within sight and within easy reach). In a VIP dance with only one dancer, it is easy to monitor what the single dancer is doing. With two dancers, it is not easy to monitor every move of both dancers. Anyway, when the dance finished (yep, it was fun with lots of contact and lots of girl-girl action also), I retrieved my pants from the floor to pay the agreed upon charges. My wallet had been moved from the back pocket to a side pocket and my collection of $20 had been significantly reduced (probably by at least $100) and had been relocated in my wallet. I confronted the dancers who of course claimed no knowledge of anything. "Maybe your money fell out"-- yeah, right. I also reported the theft to the bouncer who was conveniently available just outside the VIP area and offered an accurate dance count (5 songs). He offered to convey my complaint to the manager but offered no remedy. In retrospect, I suspect that one of the dancers, Brandy, either shoved my pants and wallet under the heavy curtains to an accomplice or Brandy removed the cash herself. If there was an accomplice in the adjacent VIP area, it could have been the bouncer for all I know. Anyhow, I found enough cash to pay the dancers and departed, poorer but much wiser for the experience.
This was really unfortunate in multiple ways-- I would have been tempted to tip the dancers, not as much as was stolen from my wallet but at lease $20 each. After all, they were fun for 5 songs and both demonstrated some impressive deep throat skills (but only on my hand, not a more sensitive part of my body). Also, they end up with a review on TUSCL that mentions their stage names (which I typically don't mention in reviews) as a "heads up" to others customers of the Flight Club. Not sure if such reviews have any actual impact on the business for the Flight Club but I do hope that any readers of this review will avoid dances with Brandy (and to a lesser extent with Heather who seemed to be a more passive accomplice). There are a number of other attractive dancers at Flight Club to select. At minimum, I hope that readers learn from my mistake and take steps to secure their wallet if they arrange for a dance from either Brandy or Heather.
I had my cellphone stolen by a dancer at Follies a year or two ago. Had it out on the high top right next to me. I wasn't 100% sure who did it but I was pretty damn sure. Reported it to management but there wasn't much they could do--or rather, there wasn't much they were willing to do. I leave the phone in my pocket now, and if I take it out I keep my hand on it until it goes back in.
On a previous Follies visit in 2016 I had my ph on the table, the dancer on the other side of the table giving a guy a dance hit the table, knocked over the guy's beer which flooded my cell ph which I had sitting on the table - it still worked after that but not as well (it is not a waterproof ph)
Funny you mention the cellphone. I lost one at Follies a couple of years ago. Told the manager and they announced it, but nobody brought it forward. Gave him alternate number, and the next day he calls and says they found it. Picked it up and all was good!
I learned the hard way not to take my phone to a club at all. A pushy dancer picked mine up and quickly dialed her own number so she now had mine. She said now I could call her and find out when she worked. I never did and thank goodness she never called me. But this was a potential pain in the ass having my number.
I too leave my cell phone in my car. If I need it, I can always go get it. Like the time I asked a favorite to text me a sexy photo and she said that she would prefer if I took the photo in VIP. So I did.
I take my wallet and cell phone with me, always, but do operate with a bit of a sense of caution across the board -- wallet carried in front pocket, and sometimes moved (minus cash) to a zippered pocket in my jacket, etc. As a general rule, the phone is far too vital a safety tool for me to ever consider leaving mine anywhere (plus I use it for social purposes during the trip at the club), but I follow strict phone discipline; even drinking and getting pretty buzzed, in all these years I've only once lost track of my phone. It helps that most of the time, I SC with other guys, so there are other eyes at the table, too.
I don't really enjoy doubles, but I can see how a two-girl distraction team would be tough to deal with for even a PL who is on his toes. If I ever do a two-girl show again, which I doubt, I think putting all valuables in jacket in zippered pockets (and don't let anyone see you've put them there) might be the ticket.
Getting money stolen must suck.
As far as phones, I once sat on a phone. I put it on the table and thought whenever I go back up front, I will turn it in. About 20 minutes later 4 guys and a bouncer came looking for it at the wrong table about 30 feet away.
Never pick pocketed that I know of but do have a phone story.
At the bar fairly inebriated. Reach for my phone on the bar and it had seemingly evaporated into thin air. WTF. Somewhat panicked I told the friendly bartender who I'd been tipping well all night. She seemed pretty confiident she could get it back.
Sure enough, five minutes later, a bouncer walked up and handed me my phone. Took off before I could tip him. Apparently a dancer I was talking to at the bar "accidentally" grabbed it. They looked at the tape and tracked her down. I was a pretty good spender at the club so I think they went the extra mile. Not real sure if she was trying to steal it or not. We had drank several shots together so I gave her the benefit of the doubt.

Never worried ever about a stripper stealing my cash, yet my phone is another story.
