    OT: Arrest Warrants
Some jurisdictions expect you to call up to find when your court date is scheduled. After trying to find out for months some people may get lax or give up and end up with a warrant. When there's a raid at a strip club I've heard of them checking for outstanding warrants. I don't know how many people they check.

    Memorable experiences during feature shows.
A while back there was a feature dancer at this small 8 Mile strip club. Her show started with a little pyrotechnics and she had a couple large snakes wrapped around her body. The next time I went there I was told that she disappeared and the animals were found alone in the room she was staying in?

OT: Detroit, there's and app for that
A while ago I had my car stolen in downtown Detroit. I went to the precinct and they told me there were a number of cars stolen each week and because of lack of funds they only had one officer investigating them for an hour or so each week. A couple of years ago there was an article about the different violent crime rates in different cities that said Detroit's problem was that the people don't think they can rely on the police and everyone has a gun? A recent TV interview said there were over 80,000 Cpl in Detroit but a police official being interviewed wouldn't discourage issuing Cpl when they're handled properly.

Good News. South Carolina is out of the drought.
Last year in Metro Detroit we had 6 or 7 inches. There was 3 1/2 feet of sewage in the basement and it took months to clean up. FEMA gave me $3000 but a lot of people were getting over $20,000 plus loans. On the designated pickup day for garbage pickup from this 'disaster' half the houses for for miles had ton of damaged household goods on their front lawns.

Do they respectfully report on the deaths of strippers?
A woman who happened to be an exotic dancer was murdered in her house just outside Detroit. The original report in the local paper was titled that an exotic dancer was murdered. Later the father of her 2 year old son was arraigned for the murder. The fact that she was an exotic dancer could have been mentioned later. but the newspapers seems to be more the standard.

She did some impressive pole tricks. I'd be surprised if she was drunk when she did them.

Message to Rick the Lion: Keep Yo Friends Out of Detroit
Supposedly when feature strippers used to have dangerous animals on stage they kept them heavily sedated. Maybe thatโ€™s why the guy with the weed whacker is still alive. Once I was sitting a couple feet from a 600 pound tiger on stage and the tiger kept staring at me.

I don't have any scheduled or pending payments on my Debit card so I've cancelled it when I was worried about it. I've called customer service and for something like $7 they send me a new card with a new number in about a week.

Once I was talking with a dancer and she insisted I turn completely around to look at something. I got suspicious and kept my eyes on my drink. I once saw them dragging what looked like an unconscious customer around the side of the Coliseum. A police car was present. Better check the balance on your debit card. I'm always afraid that could they could get my address from my wallet and maybe duplicates of your keys? I have these special locks where I can change the keys fairly fast without changing the locks.

@Longball; The Players dancers that were off stage and in the bar area were given tickets if only a little bit of their buttocks wasn't covered for one thing. I think this is called semi-nude and only permitted on stage with the new ordinance.

I was there later and didn't notice anything, but didn't get any dances. There was a raid/inspection several weeks ago at Players. The dancers were given tickets for indecent exposure. When they went to court they were given fines and one years probation.

Victims get robbed before entering a strip club
CrazyJoes right. I was in La Chambre's park1ng lot after i left. A robber runs up behind me somehow knocks me to ground, gets my wallet, and gets away. I look in the mirror the next day and see the biggest shiner I've ever had.

Don't know what influence this had, but in 2010 Penthouse started a lawsuit against the City of Detroit after the new ordinance was passed. This wasn't settled until last month when the Penthouse claims against the City of Detroit were dismissed.

    Detroit Curtains = It's curtains!!!!
I was told Player's is going to be remodeled soon and be closed for a few weeks. The dancers will be at Legends at that time. The oval bar is going to be removed and a standard bar will be where the downstairs VIP is now. The VIP will be all upstairs except for customers in wheel chairs.
