Supposedly when feature strippers used to have dangerous animals on stage they kept them heavily sedated. Maybe that’s why the guy with the weed whacker is still alive. Once I was sitting a couple feet from a 600 pound tiger on stage and the tiger kept staring at me.

I got to see Siegfried and Roy in Vegas while they were still performing. I was seated at a table right up against the stage. When the brought out the Tigers, although they were tethered, it certainly crossed my mind that this was a bit scary.
