I need to take a break

SuperDude
Detroit, Michigan
Went to The Coliseum on Eight Mile Road in Detroit. No dances, but a conversation with an ATF. Arrived at 11:30pm. Had more than a few mixed drinks, but nothing heavy. Woke up in my car in a residential neighborhood just off Eight Mile Road at 6:30am I do not remember paying the bar tab, getting the car from valet, driving to this house, paying a dancer for anything or stopping at White Castle for burgers. My wallet was emptied, save for a $20.00 bill. ($300.00 gone.) Car littered with White Castle burger bags. I cannot account for the time. My debit card was with the bartender, but is now in my wallet. WTF??

Not brilliant SuperDude! I don't judge people for spending too much or doing crazy stuff as long as they don't drink and drive! Just be careful in the future because you could have killed somebody! :(

Scary. Not a good area to pass out in. Could you have been drugged?

I think someone may have drugged me. I can handle mixed drinks. I have not passed out since college 50 years ago. When I woke up in my car in front of a strange house, I was scared and confused. I had the thought that I may have had a drugged drink, but I don't believe those things happen to me.

Yeah mixed drinks at a strip club don't do that to people. In fact it takes a lot of them to do much of anything. Something else happened.

I hate to say it but it is possible that someone did drug you or memory loss can be a sign of a history of heavy drinking ;). Anyways, I was at a local club and a dancer asked if i wanted a drink after getting a couple dances, i thought that was a little weird but sure why not. I had 2 beers in little over an hour while i was there plus the Vodka 7 the dancer bought me. I left a little bit later maybe 15 minutes because I wanted to go to another club, once I got to the other club I ordered a bottle of water and got a VIP dance from one of my favorites. About 10 minutes into the VIP everything started spinning like i had been slamming a bunch of shots after drinking all day. I had to cut my VIP short, its not fun to have the spins as a dancer hangs on you or is dancing on your lap.

I can’t say why i felt so drunk after 3 drinks in about 2.5 hours but I always thought something was wrong about that last mixed drink I got but I can’t be sure.

Once I was talking with a dancer and she insisted I turn completely around to look at something. I got suspicious and kept my eyes on my drink.

I once saw them dragging what looked like an unconscious customer around the side of the Coliseum. A police car was present.

Better check the balance on your debit card.
I'm always afraid that could they could get my address from my wallet and maybe duplicates of your keys? I have these special locks where I can change the keys fairly fast without changing the locks.

I always watch my drink at a strip club. Sometimes I think I'm just being paranoid, but I know I'm not.

Dancers always ask me what I'm drinking which makes me wonder. I'm glad you're ok and hope there are no repercussions you haven't seen yet.

You might contact a lawyer and get a blood test to determine if you were in fact drugged. A layer, because if you go to the cops, they might decide to arrest you.

You should also check your bank for bullshit transactions on your card, and dispute them.

You said you had "more than a few" mixed drinks. is it possible that things just got out of hand and you lost track of how many drinks you really had? When was the last meal you had? Could there have been shots involved after things started getting out of hand?

I just have trouble imagining that you could have driven yourself out of there and pulled through a White Castle for food if you were drugged on top of all the booze. Sadly, the more likely scenario is that you got caught up in everything and things got out of control.

I agree with others who have said that this may be a wakeup call. I had one several years ago which changed how I did things, especially when I travel. You may need to think about how you can make some changes, including setting some alcohol consumption limits when you go out, to keep something like that from happening again.

    It could be anything:

+ not out of the realm of possibility you could have been drugged – strip-clubs are full of shady people whom probably have shady pasts and maybe shady presents we are unaware off

+ the alcohol could have affected you differently this time for w/e reason – some underlying medical issue you may not be aware off; etc – the stomach is pretty sensitive and sometimes having something wrong w/ your stomach can cause some nasty side-effects especially when drinking

We all often let our guard down when we SC since we go there to have a good time and unwind and not worry about anything – but when $$$, alcohol, and hos, are involved; one should always try to be alert/clear-minded.

Hope you are feeling back to normal – yeah it was something shitty that happened but don't throw the baby out with the bath water – i.e. IMO doesn't mean you have to stop SCing or now be paranoid and looking over your shoulder when SCing – just be a bit more careful especially when interacting w/ others in the SC.

Don't forget the age factor. You are not a young man any more. So If you want to get it up for VIP, lay off the booze. I know I do.

Brilliant point Papi_Chulo! Don't give up on fun SuperDude! Just watch it with overdoing the liquor! I hate to agree with rickdugan, because I generally feel that he's a major d-bag, but it was probably just getting too drunk! If somebody drugged you they would have done something worse than parking you someplace random with a bag of White Castle!

Doesn't mean that your debit card transactions shouldn't be checked carefully! But you may have a hard time disputing if it is just charges for a zillion lap dances that you got talked into when you were super drunk!

Keep smiling and and thinking brilliant thoughts and thank the stars that nobody was hurt or killed! Hopefully you won't have a financial hurt either!

Not that parking a person someplace random with a bag of White Castle isn't a non-brilliant, d-baggy thing to do!

Understanding that everyone is different, I am ALWAYS aware (the next morning) if I had too much to drink the night before. Have you ever blacked out with memory loss from drinking before?? Was your card used at White Castle? Did you sign a receipt?

If you are being honest with yourself and you truly have NO recollection from leaving the club to recovering your debit card to White Castle and so on, I would seriously investigate the possibility you were doped. You can visit a hospital or an immediate care center and have a blood test. Do it now. The details of "I woke up in front of . . ." are nobody's business. Just tell them, "I think I might have been drugged and I want to be tested." I would also immediately check your bank balance and consider telling your bank to put a temporary hold on your debit card as it was out of your control for 6 hours.

As everyone has said, sure, it is a wake up call. I only order beer ITC as I can watch them remove the bottle cap. I don't trust anybody in a SC to make me a mixed drink. Am I paranoid, fuck yeah. Think about it . . . I am traveling ALONE with a lot of cash and with NO DESIRE to ever have to explain in a police report my whereabouts when I was drugged and robbed. I want no permanent record of any of that. I have even had a dancer reach in my pants pocket when my pants were around my ankles and steal cash while my head was thrown back and my eyes were closed. After enough trouble and enough close calls and enough stories like yours, I will always be paranoid and on my guard in situations like SC, AMP, escorts, etc. It is not like I can call the cops readily.

    Be safe and have fun.

Always limit my alcohol when driving to clubs and tote my drink / beer to the restroom. SC employees have been known to work some scams knowing that we carry around some pretty fat wallets. There was that time at the Flight Club that a dancer wanted to "take my wallet out of my pants so I would be more comfortable".... riiiiiiiiight. I leave some cash in my front pocket and my wallet buttoned in my rear ( I always wear dress pants to clubs). Anyway glad to hear you're OK and check those account balances.

I don't have any scheduled or pending payments on my Debit card so I've cancelled it when I was worried about it. I've called customer service and for something like $7 they send me a new card with a new number in about a week.

As a somewhat expert on drugs and alcohol, I can say there is NO WAY you drove that car to where you woke up yourself given the circumstances. I would talk to the ATF (now EX-ATF I expect) ad see what she says. I'm sure her story will have more holes than Swiss Cheese.

My ATF doesn't have to love me...or even like me...but if I can't turn my back on her without this shit going down, she's toast. I would find a way to get her fired which isn't that hard if you truly know her personal details.

You mention $280 being missing from your wallet. Don't rule out being drugged and then having one or two others "help" you out of the club, get your car, stop at White Castle, empty your wallet and then leave you in your car.

Putting 2 and 2 together though, whoever drove your car had white castle and who knows what else, on you. If you had any white castle, its a shame you don't remember it.

My opinion is like a couple of the last posts. I believe you were drugged and one or two people got you in your car and drove it and got some White Castle and who knows where else they may have stopped and used your debit card (as a credit card of course since they wouldn't know the PIN) then drove to some random residential area stole money from your wallet and had somebody pick them up unless they were the stupid criminal type and maybe they drove to THEIR actual neighborhood stole money from your wallet and WALKED to their house....maybe they live in that neighborhood. I think finding out what and where transactions were made on your card will tell alot.

    gawker, chessmaster, jayhawk seem right.

just drunk or drugged - a couple of clubbers (or staff) took you to your car - drove to white castle and where not - emptied your wallet - saved $20 for you - and left you in the car and either called a cab or walked home.
It could be club staff, used your cash to pay the tab before the "breakfast" trip. I don't this club could have charged the debit card but by now you can check your account online.

Among all possible scenarios - this one is a good ending. You may also want to inquire with club staff if they remember what happened.

I've seen customers get drunk. Club cuts em off and calls a cab.
I've got drunk 3-4 times and the club staff was super helpful regarding my safety (& others) - usually arranging a cab and hotel for the night. But I have learned my lesson and try not to get carried away by partying dancers.

Glad to hear you're okay, SuperDude. I have to agree with everyone here that it might've been drugs and you should get yourself checked out quick, get them identified before they fully get out of your system. Have you talked to the folks at the White Castle? They might help identify whoever was driving your car, especially if they have any security footage.

Nothing unusual on the debit card. Car works fine. No after effects. Stayed home and reflected on events. Remembered that I had little or nothing to eat the whole day. Future trips will require a heavy meal with mashed potatoes before hitting the club. Thanks to all for the helpful advice and support.

As I suspected, lol. I hate to sound like this, but I don't know what some people around here were thinking. The odds that multiple people at the club colluded to drug you, rob you, put your card back in your wallet, carry you to your car and then drive you to some random location, all for a few hundred bucks, were extremely low. ;)

It sounds like you just got drunk enough that you went into semi-autopilot, grabbing some food and then having just enough sense to know that you needed to pull over. Sadly I've been there, which is what prompted me to make some changes as well.

Good luck and be safe Dude.

seems rickdugan nailed it, buddy you need to be more careful, you can get a free app for your phone that can approximate your bac called "bac calculator" on I tunes, or you can spend a couple of bucks on a Breathalyzer app before you end up in custody and I have heard that is expensive
