Some of the Providence clubs I go to....especially Satin Doll and Sportsmen, the girl chat you on the way in and out, but not true for the upscale clubs. But you can't blame, they don't know who's psycho and who's not, and who might misintepret a friendly..."non-professional" confrontation. These girls have to be very "stalker aware", and unveiling the illusion (talking to CUSTOMERS, not friends, not pals, not confidantes while IRL (in real life) clothes shatters the illusions.
And besides, you don't know the rules of the club.

I have been to exactly one strip joint in Georgia....one of the Club Exotica or Risque Diner strips joints you see all over the south east. Had a great time and a good lunch....!

I usually just end up in strip joints so I wear what I happened to be wearing. I'm a shorts guy in 40-50 degrees so....if I'm on vacation in FLA, New Orleans or Phoenix, odds are I'm wearing shorts. But tastes are more for your corner bar strip joints....I'm sure they are upsacale places that don't allow shorts, sneakers etc....

Well, for many years, you go to a strip joint in downtown Boston and your only real income was hustling drinks...the old $110 bottle of $8 Korbel and so forth. The tips were marginal and table dances were non-existant. It really depends on the club and the strip joint now. I go to clubs in RI now, downtown Providence mostly, regular bar drinks... just good times to be had. I'm not a big fan of champagne clubs, but girls make money how they club rules allow.

There's a couple of strip clubs in the Boston area (King Authur's in Chelsea and The Squier in Revere) that have had murders in the club, but in reality, these incidents probably would have happened whether these creeps where in a strip joint or another bar. I can't speak to these clubs because frankly I haven't been to them in years.
I saw a bouncer kick the shit out of a dude for reaching over the railing at the Cabaret in a Boston suburb...but I took that more of indication of one guy (the bouncer) not being able to handle the fact that his girlfriend was a stripper.
Back in 1992, I saw my girlfriend's mother's boyfriend kick the holy crap out of dufus who owed him money....my gf was a stripper...so was her mother uncomfortably enough.

I was in one in New Orleans....the one with the stage silohuetted in the window for like three hours once....Temptations? Great night. Real connection with the girl, despite my best efforts never saw her again.

Being a regular is a dubious distinction in some cases. I actually just went through a negative experience at a club. I was going to a club too regular and became associated with one girl. Other girls stayed away from me because I was considered "hers". Funny thing is there were times when I was in the club when she was with another customer and I was tippping all the girls on stage and still they left me alone even though I was spending money pretty freely.
As a little experiment, I went in when I knew she wasn't working and still they left me along.
I confronted her about it and she pleaded ignorance. So I started going to another club...I didn't need these reindeer games.

Personally, I think the best strippers are the ones that mastered the art bringing you to peak but not pushing you over the edge. The last thing I want to do is do the brisk walk of shame out the door.
I think it's better for them because as they can get you to a certain point at the end of a song their chances of getting another one is pretty damn good.

Well, I just think you're cheap. Seriously, hanging out and doing some shots with strippers is a time honored tradition. Personally, I always thought it was somewhat classy of a stripper to hang our with customers when they don't have to and drink bar drinks. Especially if they are in a situation where it's not a comission drink place and not part of the hustle.
But think about it, it is kind of decent for a dancer to hang out and just have a drink when you could be out snagging dances.
I don't see the problem.

How much you willing to spend?
Generally speaking it is the usual array of friction dances and mutually allowed contact for a couple hundred buck. Blowjobs or handjobs are rare encounters and happen more because of comfort level with the girl rather than financial considerations. I did have sex once but that was an abberation.

I once conspired with a dancer who was gay and really into another dancer. I had fun, my friend had fun, the other girl . . . the other girl made some good money.

It depends on what is waranted by the club. I've written four and five line reviews as needed. I've also written slightly longwinded reviews with anecdotes. I'm kinda proud of my Chez Kimberly in Pittsburgh review.
What I think is ridiculous is the fact that the guy giving monthly updates of his club's renovations in Rhode Island is being credited for "reviews".

I'd go with Shark's on Daytona Beach because the web master turned this little rat hole of a club into a veritable pussy palace when all it is a little dive in the back of a liquor store.

I think the best clubs have galleries of current dancers.
Ten's in Salisbury Mass has some great galleries.

Curious.
One would think people who come to this website and pay to read and post would actually like strip joints and strippers.
Dancers like all other people come in different sizes, moral standards and class distinctions. why is this so hard?

On those rare occasions when I thought the situation might call for it . . . most often when serious $$$$ has been exchanged already . . . I broached the subject via vague questions about club rules. I've learned specifically not bring specific services in relation to cash. Ask the wrong girl the wrong question in the wrong city, and you're on the sidewalk or worse. Suffice to say, I have made other arrangements in a couple of cities: the Block in Baltimore and Bourban Street New Orleans come to mind.

This isn't exactly what this thread is about but it is on topic. One thing I always do when I go on a trip is check out this site to figure out if I'm going to hit strip joints . . .okay which strip joints I'm going to. I check out several things... proximity, ratings, contact versus none. Race is a factor I admit. I'm a white guy and all things being equal I'll go with a white club then mixed. I've been challenged on this attitude by some black dancers I know and even some white dancers and bartenders.
My feeling is like speaks to like and since my taste in women is young white girls with natural boobs that is where I spend my money. And I have a right to spend my money where I see fit.
Apparently, others feel the same way because why else would there an ethnicity category at TUSCL?

If they're doing their job . . . small club managers too.
I'm a regular at a club in Boston (The Glass Slipper). Bartenders/managers whatever know exactly where to steer the girls to. They'll even tell me so and so & so and so aren't working but if you like them you'll like this girl.
It's a service both to the girl . . . and the customer.

Does it have to be the same club consecutively?
I had this run back in April:
A club north of Tampa on Monday.
3 clubs in two nights in Daytona.
lunch in a club in Georgia and dinner in Dunn, North Carolina on Thursday
A smorgosbord of the Block in Baltimore on Friday
Followed by lap dances at Lace in midtown Manhatten on Saturday.
Expensive week.

I have a couple of stripper friends who have attended my shows. I do some off <<ahem>> Boston acting and directing and some of the ladies from a local club have attended. The sex thing is there of course; I'm willing . . . they're not. :(

Yeah, I have a couple of similar relationships in different clubs. No BS. I even have one who I've seen blow off a customer mid dance when I walked into the club.
Kinda cool, I guess. Except for the fact I think the guy was about ready to literally kill me.
