When I was a noob, I burned through $400 in a half hour. I can't tell you for sure what my slowest burn rate was, but I suspect it probably happened at King of Diamonds south of St. Paul, MN waiting for some preferred dancer to come dance for me.

I'll let others comment on the strip club scene there, because the only time I was ever there was nearly 20 years ago, but you can check out the Cahokia mounds, which was a pre-Columbian city on the Illinois side of the river. They have some old Route 66 places, including a bridge you can walk across the Mississippi on. And they have casinos in the area.

Years ago, I was at a club where the dancers picked the songs off a juke box and one of them wanted me to pick her music, so I picked Tool and Rob Zombie. It seemed right for her and that moment. That's something that will never happen again. There is one club I know about where they can pay the DJ to play a specific song, or at least they did when I was a regular. I used to know the signature song(s) of all my favorites and a few who weren't there.

I assume they were around in the early 90's in Tampa because that was when my buddy was stationed at Macdill AFB and he'd tell me about his strip club visits and give me a guilt trip about not going down there to hang out. This was before I had ever been to one, although I was always curious to find out.

The one I have been to that goes way back is the Lampliter in Ottawa, IL, which goes back to 1971, according to its website. Whether they had strippers way back when, I couldn't tell you, but I feel safe in saying they had them by the 80's for sure.

When I went on a much more regular basis than now, it was always with the hope that one of my favorites would be there. Nowadays, I'm in the "Whatever happens, happens" camp.

I remember my old favorite Angel. She was probably too old to still be dancing at that point, or at least looked it. I know the first couple times I saw her at the club she danced at, I passed, but there was one time, the other dancers looked even worse, so I went with her. Just because she was old don't mean she couldn't be a freak. And nothing was out of bounds for her, either. We had many fun times.

One thing about Tampa that a friend of mine would point out is they have an Air Force base there (Macdill AFB) and they probably get a few people from there. He himself was enlisted Air Force and he always tries to make me feel guilty about never seeing him there because of the strip clubs there.

I officially began on here in 1998, but was only a lurker the first few years. I feel like I'm only a lurker now because I don't go to clubs like I used to. (Moving to a strip club dead zone will do that.)

I am like that now, where I have a 30 mile trip down county roads just to get to a strip club which isn't all that good. They have 5 different dancers ever, or at least in the last year. All of them have one obvious problem which mostly boils down to either too old or doesn't turn me on. I find it easier just to do something else most of the time and make the allday roadtrip to a better club once in a while.

The ones who look at you like you're the only guy in the room do alright.

There was one I remember at one of my former favorite clubs. I used to have a deaf coworker who had huge hearing aides, and this dancer waa exactly the same way. I bought a dance from her, as she had a good body, but she was decidedly not an extras girl, so that was it.

Back when I lived in Omaha, I used to have a favorite at a club I was a regular at. She would be there one time, I'd hear she retired the next visit, then the visit after she allegedly retired, she'd be back.

I don't think it's creepy to ask, but you probably won't get a straight answer because most of the people who would ask are most likely creepy. I used to all the time at various clubs and eventually, all of them would tell me I'll have to stop in and check it out myself.

They had ham for Thanksgiving dinner this year at my parent's house because my brother decided he wanted a ham for Thanksgiving. There was also sweet potato, stuffing, mashed potato, my mom's green beans with cream of mushroom soup and onions and a peach pie with ice cream for dessert. Why a peach pie, I don't know, but that's what happens when Mom lets my brother make big decisions.

In the time I have lived in my current apartment building, I have mostly got along with the other residents. When I first moved in, one of the tenants was basically an asshole, but he was ultimately evicted after he got arrested for drug possession and thrown into the county jail. One of my civie dates was with the lady next door, but there was zero chance at a second date. Nowadays, of the 7 other tenants in my building, I talk with 3 of them at least semiregularly, 2 of them I used to but not much anymore and 2 of them are people who just moved in.

Presently zero and likely to stay that way.

After I moved to Omaha way back when, I made my first ever trip to Kansas. Going south on US 75 towards Topeka, I remember seeing a billboard for a strip club (it was the now-long-defunct Club Orleans) and thinking to myself "They allow strip clubs to advertise?" I didn't go there, though, because I owned this one strip club publication I got from the local adult bookstore and had decided on a different plan. This was before I had heard of TUSCL. Today, the only place I know with a billboard is King of Diamonds in Inver Grove Heights, MN, a place I will go to regardless. It's on US 52 south of the exit you would take to get there. I suspect they may be after the trucker demographic with that one.

The Candy Factory in Compton, IL is on your list. The actual location is shown on Google Maps as Twelve Mile Corner. I recall going there when it was Heartbreakers. I got a buddy of mine from my high school days who lives in Waterman, although historically, he lived in DeKalb. All I'll say is of all the strip clubs in that general area, that was the one we never went to, mostly because the one time I went, it was just too weird.

I don't care what they drive. How would you even know if you weren't lucky enough to see them show up or leave? One of my favorites drove a van. She got rode around in it a lot, too.

It depends on the club, of course, but for the one club I go to with a day shift, Friday is almost certainly the best day of the week, even if my favorite dancer at that club isn't there. Someone good is bound to be there then. Monday or Tuesday is probably the worst, but that changes if my favorite is there then. She can be random with her schedule, so who knows?

They go by half hour increments now? When I lived in the Omaha area and went there, it was always by the song. Other than that, nothing's really changed.
