So what did the TUSCL people have for Thanksgiving dinner today?
Mine was roasted turkey breast, mashed potatoes with gravy, baked yams, green beans, sweet potato bread, and cornbread muffins.
Desert was cinnamon loaf cake and banana pudding ice cream.
So what was your meal today?

last commentFried turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, roasted broccoli and cranberry sauce. Pumpkin pie and key lime pie for dessert. First time frying a turkey and it was a good meal. Moist, flavorful and it only took 30 mins. Will definitely do it again.

Smoked turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, sweet potato casserole, green beans, corn, carrots and Hawaiian roles for dinner.
There were pumpkin, sweet potato and pecan pies available for dessert but I was still too full from the meal to have any by the time I headed home so I brought a piece of each with me for over the next few days.

No family close. Cooked spaghetti and a cherry pie from Wal mart

They had ham for Thanksgiving dinner this year at my parent's house because my brother decided he wanted a ham for Thanksgiving. There was also sweet potato, stuffing, mashed potato, my mom's green beans with cream of mushroom soup and onions and a peach pie with ice cream for dessert. Why a peach pie, I don't know, but that's what happens when Mom lets my brother make big decisions.

Turkey, cornbread stuffing, twice baked potatoes, pan gravy made from the drippings, green beans, cranberry sauce, apple pie with ice cream, apple cider, pumpkin pie and homemade chocolate chip cookies. Basically a classic New England style Thanksgiving dinner.
And I'm still recovering, lol. I might not eat again until dinner tonight.

Family dinner delayed until tomorrow. So I had deviled eggs, shrimp cocktail, cheese and crackers and spumoni ice cream.

Several years ago, my family ditched the traditional dishes for most of the holidays in favor of foods we enjoy more and are easier to prepare. This allows more of the family to spend time together and not banish a few to the kitchen to do all the prep and cooking.
In the case of Thanksgiving, we're also on board with eating at a nice restaurant and leting others do all the cooking and cleaning. It's not for everyone, but it works for us.
So, I had an amazing seafood paella. No regrets.

Oven roasted turkey, smoked turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn pudding, Brussels sprouts salad, wine, home brewed cider, apple and pecan pie, cheesecake with blueberry or caramel topping, and pumpkin cake. One heck of a feast.

Just two of us. She doesn’t like turkey and I can take it or leave it. So…
Reheated a Costco rotisserie chicken, Bob Evans mashed potatoes, Green Giant steamed green beans, Stovetop stuffing.
And a top shelf pecan pie from a local bakery.

WTF is wrong with you damn dirty apes? Not a one of you had any wildebeest for the holiday. How you gonna be thankful unless you got a nice wildebeest roast on the table? SMH. ROAR!!!

I made a German meal—sauerbraten, roasted herb carrots, warm potato salad, cabbage with apples and sausage, spaetzel with a Gruyère sauce, and homemade pretzels.
Thanksgiving food is very boring to me, I never make a traditional thanksgiving.

We went out to eat. We all went planning to order a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. When we saw the menu, it had a lot of other options and we all said, "Fuck it," and ordered whatever we wanted. I ordered a prime rib steak and it was so huge, I'd guess it was easily over two pounds. The waitress giggled and said, "You'll never eat all that." I told her not to bet against me. It took a while, but I ate every last bit including a stuffed baked potato, other veggies, a french onion soup, and a beet salad for appetizer. Then I had a slice of pumpkin pie, just to acknowledge that it was Thanksgiving.

Whatever I had. I dumped tons of gravy on it before having it. You can never truly have too much gravy.

Muddy there is or was a creep on the west coast that was rumored to have that same sentiment.
