Years ago I had a friend who only dated really fat women. He himself wasn't fat, he just found fat womnen to be attractive. I could never figure out why. Have you ever noticed how often you see a really well built black guy with a really fat white girlfriend or wife? I find that to be puzzling too. It always makes me wonder if black guys tend to prefer fatter women than most white guys do.

Shadowcat, thanks but I was kidding, she's probably the only dancer who ever danced to the Beastie Boys. And I probably won't know until the last minute whether I can make it so you wouldn't have time to make me a disc.

My ATF is now a licensed massage therapist with her own business, and she's a full-time college student. Her best friend when she was a dancer is now a bartender. The only other retired dancer that I know of is now a hairdresser.

Who's in control? It's the customer's choice, it's his (or her) money.

You guys wouldn't want to share my ATF, she isn't high mileage. But she would make you laugh.

What always puzzles me about posts like that is why anyone would work at a job that they found so disgusting. Seems to me that the person she's most disgusted with is herself, she just isn't willing to admit it.

My last fave actually said this to me: "You're my favorite customer." Yeah right. "I'm not just blowing smoke out of my ass." Actually she was, but who cared, she was gorgeous.

Bones, Ill bet that the downturn in OH is temporary. Clubs and customers will adjust. Other areas have similar restrictions and clubs do just fine.

I offered my ATF a job once but she turned me down, it wasn't what she was looking for.

A couple of years after she quit dancing, my ATF asked me to help a friend of hers (someone who I'd never met and who never was a dancer) who had just graduated from college and was looking for a job. She turned out to be a real attractive, friendly and wild girl. We had a whole lot of fun for nearly a year until she got too greedy and the wheels came off.

Bathe with a stripper? Sounds like good clean fun to me. Just be careful if you drop the soap.

Shadowcat, just be sure to include some songs from Beastie Boys' first album. When I hear any of those songs ("you Gotta Fight for Your Right to Party") I can't help but picture this cute naked 20 yo with the wonderful smile and huge brown eyes ... "An angel on a pedastal or the devil in disguise, I was never really sure, both lurk deep within her eyes." Wow! What a memory. We're still in the holding patern so I'm not sure if I'll be there. I had hoped things would have been resolved by now.

To make a long story short, I didn't care for the way A treated me (or anyone else) when she quit - she told everyone in the club including the other dancers that she was moving out of the area to care for her sick father, when in fact she didn't move at all, she just quit dancing. One young guy in particular (not me), who she had been stringing along, was devastated. Her level of deception and dishonesty went way beyond what I consider to be acceptable behavior by a stripper. So yes I would have ignored her.

Thanks Bones. But did you miss the "Noble" spelling? I think a noble piece would be a nice prize. And Chandler I'm not sure that the sexual energy ever runs out of steam for me but it does change significantly once you begin to get to know each other well. And I love it when that happens because for me a fake feeling is being replaced by a real one.

Jablake, not hyperbole - if A had stayed with me and continued to treat me the way I like, B would have remained forever in the reserves. Yes technically I met her but A would have remained the one I spent most of my time with. The only time I spent with B was when A was either busy or not there. And to answer your other comment, once A left and B became my steady, if A had then come back I would have ingored her. I don't dump a sure thing for a maybe.

My ATF tells me she loves me every time I talk to her. Which is almost every day. But she says that to all her close friends and relatives. I like it.

My ATF has been asking my advice on a wide range of problems for almost as long as I've known her (10+ years) and has often taken it. I've also helped her prepare resumes when she's looked for jobs, I've helped her write letters applying for jobs, I've written letters of recommendation for her, I've helped her apply for schools, and probably some other stuff that I've forgotten. I also used to advise her on health and fitness issues when she was just getting interested in that but now she knows more than I do and advises me.

It certainly can be but so can almost anything else that's done to excess. I never clubbed often enough to become addicted. I'm too cheap for that.

I should also add that I always liked to have a backup prepped and waiting in the wings. So if the A situation blows up, B is ready to be promoted. That's exactly how I got going with my ATF, she started out as the backup. But much as I like to generalize, when you get to specific situations like this the generalizations no longer apply, each sitaution is unique.

A lot of these girls grew up in families where nobody worked. Working isn't normal to them.

Minnow, no I wouldn't. But we're not talking about the establishment here, we're talking about a particular girl. I may hate the establishment's rules (and in fact often do when in a strip club) but I don't take it out on the girls when they're not the ones making the rules. We all know that club managers often have dumb rules and we tolerate them if there are girls there who we like. This sounds like an example of that. Plus paying in advance is common in the sex industry - I've been to lots of clubs where you have to pay for dances in advance, and I'm guessing that you would usually pay an escort or a massage parlor in advance.

I never sit near the stage so I guess my answer is no.

If I had a long relationship with A I'd never get to meet a B.

Aw shucks, guys, thanks. Think I have a chance for the Noble Piece Prize? I always sit and talk to a girl for a long time if I like her and she's willing. That's my favorite part of clubbing, sitting and talking with a scantily-clad attractive girl. But I usually buy enough dances and/or tip her well enough that she doesn't lose money by spending time with me. And I usually go to clubs when they're the least busy, which is when girls are most willing to sit and talk.
