Lap Dances that HURT.
As a dancer, I appreciate shorts or thin fabric pants with everything contained. A former customer who was still a virgin at age 29 had a foreskin that was too tight and he hadn't even been able to retract the skin to m-bate. One of the other dancers gave him a really rough and jaring couch dance that actually tore the f-skin. A week or two later he proudly told me, "I can now m-bate." I told him that she did a "surgical procedure and didn't even know it or charge him." I've seen other dancers give really mechanical, rough dances and unpleasant.

I like shorts because I can feel a person's legs and touching flesh is best. Jeans are the worst because a dancer often cannot even tell if the dance is being enjoyed. The fabric of the jean material is abrassive. Often, a man will pardon himself for making an adjustment in his pants. I tell him, "go ahead and rearrange the furniture". With shorts, there's seldom a need for rearranging.

Any type of fabric that is soft and thin is good and a darker color is best. Stay away from the old-fashioned parachute fabric that makes noise as the material brushes while walking or someone rubs up against you. I also like shirts that have nipple accessibility or thin shirt fabric so I can play with the man's nipples; if he's into that. I have one regular who has a "club outfit". It includes short cotton shorts and a polo type shirt. He does this to avoid explaining make-up and perfume on his clothes. He's suggested that a compilation of the different dancers' colognes, body sprays, and perfumes be mixed and marketed as a new cologne called "Strip Club".

Too many favorites in one place, what to do?
I think that it's a good practice to have regular girls that you dance with and limit it to the number of dancers that you are comfortable with. There's one customer at one of the clubs I work at that plays the girls against each other in a cruel way, so I've quit dancing for him. I always feel that there is enough $$ to go around for every dancer if she has the right attitude. If a guy only gets dances with one girl and you see him walk in; it's nice for them but kind of disappointing for the rest of us. It's almost like the guy is "married" to his one favorite. One friend, and I do mean "friend" in the club last night was having a dilema (sp?) with this very problem last night. He quit getting dances from a girl because she was 'cut-throat' and abusive with him regarding getting dances with other girls. She apologized last week and he got dances with her again. Last night he was literally sweating because she was working and he didn't want to get back in the habit of getting dances with her again. The club environ should be fun. Enjoy yourself with the fun dancers and don't worry about the others.

Front or back?
I've been dancing part-time for 6 years and have noticed that more dancers are facing away from their patron. I prefer the dance facing him, but will experiment with turning around and arching back. The problem with sitting on him with my back towards him is that some guys seem to be insulted or feel ignored and will often end the dance after I turn around. I've started dancing less than half a song with my back to the man (after several front facing songs) I then ask him how he enjoyed that position. Some guys also get really excited by the "back" and it seems to end the dance prematurely, in some cases, so I like to save this for the end of the dance. I'm new to this discussion board and have noticed that a poster calling himself "RomanticLover" (he probably isn't) seems to be posting some ridiculous topics; I haven't read any of the responses because they seem low brow. Do the rest of you ignore angry/clueless posters or do you try to enlighten them?

Hobby or vice?
When the customers are having fun then it's a hobby. I know a few that have had serious conversations with me regretting spending so much money. What all 3 of these guys had in common was the fact that they danced with several girls and couldn't say "no" to some of the girls that they really didn't want dances from, then later regretted it. One of my weekly regulars for 4+ years had financial problems because he would spend $300+ a week on me, then come back in when he got really horny at night and blow more money than he could afford. One day shift I worked almost an hour overtime and was tipping out the day shift when I saw him back in the club. He was really embarassed and told me that the air-conditioning wasn't working in his place and that he came back to the club to cool off! I never judged him for his addiction and helped him out, I think, with discussions on the topic. Our relationship came to a screeching halt when we took it to a more intimated level. I miss him.

I couldn't get through all of D's lengthy post because it seemed angry and I would avoid a guy with this kind of vibe, (like the plague, SARS or aviary flu). I started dancing part-time to afford graduate school. From the very first shift, I've met wonderful men and have some of the best friendships I've ever known. I do not rip people off or play games. I've had one really slow shift in 6 years and was surprised, but didn't get upset and came back the next day and walked with $1040, after tipping out more than $300. I don't have enhanced breasts, am not the youngest or the best dancer. I always treat people well and introduce myself to those who look interested in me; I don't ask for a dance unless I feel like the person wants my company. I am friendly to everyone (dancers, managers, customers, waitresses, DJs and cooks). I can tell from the way a person looks at me or verbally responds, if they like me. I love talking with people and dancing. Dancing is like a vacation from my scholastic life. The LD is a fantasy for the customer and for me. I came twice the last time I worked (fringe benefit of good chemistry). I am greatful for my experiences as a dancer and my wonderful friendships. You get what you give. If you want to play dancers against one another and play games; you will probably never be satisfied and may even feel lonely in the club even though you've got 6 dancers to f*** with. Why not try treating others with respect, without a game agenda and see if friendships develop?

Things they think we like, but we don't...
Slapping the ass IS obnoxious. Another dancer and I had to talk to the manager about a girl (drunk) who persisted in slapping our asses (after being told many times to stop), even while we were in the VIP dancing for our regular guys. Licking or blowing hot, moist air into your ear is annoying. Nibbling the earlobe can be nice though (if done by the right person), and warm air blown through the thin fabric of pants in the nether regions feels good.

Dannyspade's post of the girl's juices was funny, but gross! Now you know why they have that lap towel. One of my fellow dancer's often charges men to DATY. She has often said that she would rather do a private dance than go to work and tip out on what she's made, but this is 'off subject'. This dancer used to have unprotected sex with dozens of guys for $$. I got her to start using protection. Be careful of dancers that are too naughty; they are probably doing dangerous sexual things with many men that could cost you, your good health.

Stripper's Outfits
There was a dancer at Cheetahs (Fl*m*) in San Diego that often wore a profession suit jacket and panties. She'd strut on the stage and remove the jacket, crawl on the stage with her panties in her teeth and drive the men crazy. The professional jacket that was just long enough to cover her ass was really a hit. There was another dancer (Madame *) who often wore a skirt, blouse, glasses and stripped down on stage. She was very successful and intelligent. It bugged me though to look at her walking around the club, because with all of those extra clothes she reminded me of a cheap street walker, instead of a dancer. When I first started dancing, I didn't have any costumes and I changed from a bathing suit into a short jean skirt and a few girls seemed sad and wondered why I was going home so early. Anything white usually looks good under the club lights and neon colors (although not my favorite) like pink, orange or lime green get the attention of men and lots of dances.

Strange things men have done with or to a dancer during a lap dance.
1.One man likes to suck on my toes while I face away from him with my head down near the floor with both feet up on the top of the couch on either side of his face. 2. One man had a huge plastic cock with balls the size of oranges. He was so into the fantasy of this being his natural equipment, that I went along with his fantasy and did 7 songs for him. 3. Another man is very gentle and just likes to be carressed very lightly. He wears very thin black cotton/lycra tights. He smells good, but feminine, like baby powder and Jean Nate body splash. I can also smell the fabric softner scent on his clean clothes. I believe that he is 100% hetero; he's just different and nice. He treats me well and always tips. He strokes my hair while I dance slowly for him and slightly stroke his neck, chest, thighs, and crotch. 4. One customer makes sure that I am working, pays for the VIP room, goes to the men's room and slips on a condom. I dance for him slowly and we talk occasionally. Toward the end of the songs, about 15, the rhythm gets faster and he releases. He remains in his clothes but doesn't want to make his pants/shorts wet. 5. One man was wearing a bra; I noticed it and told him that I thought it was sexy. 6. Last Summer a very young, Johnny Depp-look alike took me to the VIP. I was getting frisky with him and he told me to sit on the couch. I did and he pulled my panties to the side and DATY for half a song. I made him stop because he was on his hands and knees and I was afraid we were going to get caught. Later that same night, a guy from New York bought a bunch of dances in the same VIP. After doing about 15 songs for him; he asked me to sit down. I did and he DATY (I was thinking, do I have a sign that says "eat me"). Five minutes later, the manager came into the VIP and the guy was dancing for me! The manager did a double-take and I just grinned (I was very glad that he hadn't come into the room a few minutes earllier). -T

Yes, (CFM) come fuck me, but I didn't understand the part about the 2 dancers. DavidS, you chose a nice topic. I'm not crazy about some of the outfits that are merely the wide-weave fish net tops, where nothing is left to the imagination. Some of the dancers are wearing chaps that are made out of a stretchy fabric, instead of leather and this looks really sexy. I think that lingerie, like a babydoll or teddy and stockings are also nice and sexy.

Strange things men have done with or to a dancer during a lap dance.
Mailman, the club is in San Diego. It's called Club Expose. Regular dances are only $10 per song and the VIP, which is very dark and semi-private is $200 for 18 songs, that's why the songs with me get even hotter after 10 to 12 songs. A man wants to enjoy himself but not too soon. Some guys want affection in the VIP, but most want a combination of affection and stimulation.

Strip club burnout
I started dancing in 1999 and it seemed to be much better, carefree and fun then. I work at a couple of clubs in San Diego and feel the 'burn out' described here. Before 9/11 and the war, there were a lot of men who came into the club. After 9/11, there were less customers and those who came in seemed to be more serious and think twice about getting dances. With the economy doing poorly since the war began, the girls have become extremely, 'cut throat' and angry. If you find a dancer that you like spending time with, the whole world seems to melt away and it's just you and her in your own little cacoon, enjoying one another's company. When the girls are rip off artists or coarse, it ruins the experience. If you feel a sense of burn out, it's good to take a break from the club scene and return, when you are ready. The summer season in the club is weird in southern California, because there are less customers coming in and the girls seem to pounce on everyone who walks in the door. Perhaps the sense of burnout will fade as school begins in a couple of weeks. I prefer to work just a couple of days a week and set up meeting times in the club with men who's company I enjoy. While spending time with someone special, I feel like the experience is my fantasy, as well as the man's. -T

Why so LOUD? Does Noise = $$$?
I work part time at 2 clubs in San Diego. One club never plays the music too loud and the other club often has the music too loud with so much bass that you can feel it in the walls and it hurts my ears and makes me feel physically and psychologically uncomfortable. Several customers have complained about the noise level and I once told the manager and the dj that the customers requested that the volume be turned down. I was told by both employees that the owner preferred loud music because it creates a festive environment. Loud AC/DC music was played 24/7 to prisoners of war in Iraq to break them. Loud music is very offensive especially if it's some really depressing suicide, violently descriptive, or rap crap. I prefer to work the day shift to avoid the louder music which seems to get louder on the night shift. I should adopt the idea of ear plugs, I have some silicone ones that I wear when I go to concerts. -T

Black Lights
The black lights make the dancers' white, bright pink, orange and lime green costumes glow. It also makes people's eyes look really strange when they are standing close to the black light. I've seen actors on CSI use special flashlights with an orange filter over the light to detect semen. Perhaps the bulb is a blacklight. I seriously doubt that the black light is to show semen. Most of this substance when released remains on the man's skin, clothes or in a wrapper. I've noticed that dancers' skin seems to look tanner under a blacklight. -T

Situational Virtue
If a dancer has only worked in a topless bar where touching is not allowed then I believe that she has stricter boundaries. I speak from personal experience. I had worked at a couple of topless clubs then came to Cheetahs nude club in San Diego. I wanted to dance for the guys and do what is customary during the dance but found my muscles tense and I was worried during my first couple of weeks. Worried because I didn't know how to grind and concerned because I didn't want to get in trouble with vice. Now that I'm comfortable with dancing and have found, crossed my boundaries and returned to my comfort zone, I believe that dancers who work in stricter clubs who have experienced clubs with less restriction are just as loose as other dancers but are conforming to the rules. In order to have looser boundaries (morals, actions) you first have to experience the more provocative behavior. -T

Chitown - You're referring to BF Skinner, the one who allegedly raised his daughter in a box? The most embarrassing thing that ever happened to me was being stripped on stage, down to my granny, white panties while the crowd laughed (Crazyhouse in San Francisco). Later that night we went to a warehouse party where people were doing sexual things to one another in cubicles. (Downstairs people were being flogged and put in stocks -head and hands restrained - not my cup of tea). As we first walked in we saw a man getting his scrotum shocked by some electric wand. I had my boyfriend eat my pussy in front of about 20 people - it was wild!!

It's always a good idea to wash your hands. Hepatitis B remains viable in dried blood for up to 10 days and can be contracted by coming in contact with a minute, (naked to eye) source on an inanimate object (fomite) or the person's direct bodily fluids by contact with open skin (even an abrassion in your mouth from flossing) or mucous membranes. I once had a customer try to touch my kitty and I said no. He told me that he had just washed his hands and I still wasn't going to let him touch me but I indulged him by first looking at one of his hands then sniffing it gently, it smelled like mustard from the burger he had just consumed. I told him this, he smelled his hand and laughed. We continued with our dance sans the mustard fingers.

It's true that the strangest things happen in SC's. I've worked in 7 clubs, some only for a few shifts, but others for a few years (part-time). What I love about SC's is the escape from reality and the intimacy shared with strangers. Men will often tell a dancer things he wouln't tell his good friends or wife/girl friend. I have my share of experiences, but that's not what this thread is about. Thank you for sharing your experience. -T

Anyone know what happened to a dancer?
Hmmm, Grace, at the Kearny Mesa Deja Vu? How long ago was she working there? Have you gone to the club to ask her co-workers where she is? Deja isn't a very good club to work at in San Diego because they take so much of your money. Perhaps she went to Cheetahs on the corner of Clairemont Mesa Blvd. and Mercury St. or Club Expose at 8660 Mira Mar Road. When dancers get a warning or ticket from a vice cop, they often change their stage name. Perhaps she's still at Deja Vu but has changed her name. Don't depend on the person answering the phone to give you good information. Customers tell me all the time that they were told I was either in the club or not in the club by the person answering the phone and this 411 was incorrect. - Hope this helps. Good luck in finding Grace.

Customers TRYING to BUY FRIENDSHIP in strip clubs who will NOT ADMIT it
RL, why are you so angry? Precious few dancers read the discussion board and if they do I'm sure that most would be turned off by your ranting. Seriously, what do you expect to accomplish here by insulting people? People go to clubs to be entertained. No one cares about a dancer's boyfriend or husband and aren't thinking about their own wife or girlfriend while at the club. It's all entertainment and fantasy - pure pleasure without anger, angles or tricks. -T

can we somehow vote to ban romantic lover
Minnow, I like your analogy of RL's posts to that of a dead fish. You can tell by the title of his posts that there is something unbalanced about his thought processes. It's as though he dislikes dancers and wants to "piss up your rope" here. I've only repsonded to one of his inane posts and will refrain from reading or responding to anything that has his name on it.
