From what I learned in the "Articles" today, I might think that Adam & Eve initiated a 30 minute non-smoking period each day in order to increase revenue by 3%.

15 years ago, dancer told me she had finished her bachelors degree shortly before she met me. I congratulated her, and soon she became my first FS/ITC. Sometime later, she announced that she had submitted her paperwork to take the LSAT. I said something about how smart she must be to consider going to law school, and a week or so later when I saw her she had the announcement from her college graduation which noted that she graduated summa cum laude. I was impressed, so I started tipping her an extra $20 when we did BB/FS/ITC. She went on to become a lawyer. Recently, I ran into an attorney who used to go to that club, and had been very helpful with recommendations, etc ($$$ for FS/OTC)that helped her get into and thru law school. He said she's a judge in Indiana now.
She was very good as a sex partner, so I'm sure she would be very good as a judge as well. Yeah, I know.
Knew another dancer who claimed to be working on her PhD in physics; researching paranormal phenomenon. She was sorta nuts; C minus dancer.
And,....this really is true...dancer had a master's degree in chemistry; worked a local brewery making sure the batches had all the right stuff in them. Never drank in the club: said she hated beer!

I was a Usenet ASS-C reader during the 90's, and I think I picked-up a reference to TUSCL there. I jotted down the link, but didn't go here much until I had my own machine and internet connection - separate from my wife's. I know that once I started with TUSCL, I bought a lifetime membership immediately. I knew this was going to be good!
For the price of 2.5 lap dances, I have been able to enjoy thousands more at some of the best clubs in North America. I have wasted very little time or money on bad clubs as a result of the reviews I have read here.

You are asking for a lot here, but maybe Strip Clubbing for Dummies would approach it this way:
I'm a relative newbie to the club and escort scene.

I hate getting burned because I'm ignorant of what I should be paying.

That kind of behavior is exactly what Saturday night at PT's-Centreville is all about. It's been a few years since I was there last, and I don't remember the dancers being rude (maybe drunk), but they do expect "ransom" money for kidnapping your chick, hauling her up on the stage and revealing your date's tits to everyone around that stage. It's all in good fun, and the girls sitting around the stage usually are there because they know what is going to happen and they either want to participate or just watch. Either one or two dollars seems to be the norm in ESL. I always did one, but saw some guys do two.
Saturday night used to be swingers night, so there was a fair amount of spontaneous toplessness among the female customers.

I don't care for the "tip stroll", but, I am usually getting a dance within 30 minutes of arriving, and usually out the door within an hour and a half, so the most I am likely to spend on stroller tips is five or six bucks. Not a real big deal.
I admit that I feel guilty enabling girls who, for whatever reason, shouldn't be dancing. Sometimes I plan a trip to the head to correspond with the "stroll of a troll" who I find unworthy of even a dollar.

I had my comment all formulated as I was reading down the page, and I got to lopaw's. What she said is pretty much my feeling as well. I will add that sometimes you might expect an average dance from a girl, and it ends up being a really great one. The issue cuts both ways.

Similar feelings here PrimO, I found this site in late 2002 after ASS-C became overrun with spam. I had no idea that there were fifty other clubs within driving distance of me. I was already an amateur PL, but only at a few clubs that were well advertised in my area. TUSCL suddenly opened a new door for my SC adventuring. I joined with a lifetime ($49??) membership because I didn't want to have to post reviews all the time to maintain good standing. I love this site, and I have developed an unconnected cyber friendship the regular posters. The only thing missing is the place down the street where you open the door and everybody from here....is there! Actually, it's probably best that that place does not exist, but it's fun to imagine it.

HOW's right that many states do have these rules already. But that's why clubs in those states aren't a destination. Nixon has no clue that a club being on the TUSCL Top 10 equals a 2% economic benefit to the State!!
We are always disappointed when we lose freedoms. These days we should be really pissed-off, because we are losing them on a lot of fronts.

I wonder which cities (or states or clubs) in the US have the most incidents of violence in strip clubs. How does that issue compare to the rest of the world.
I read today that if the Missouri Governor does not veto the adult entertainment death bill sitting on his desk by July 10th, then the attorney for a lot of affected clubs plans to ask the courts for an injunction that would delay or perhaps void the bill. The attorney cites numerous flaws in the legislation. I'll post the electronic version of the quote as soon as it's available.
