I haven't been to an amateur contest in many years. They used to have them a lot, but I rarely see them advertised anymore. I suspect they had a lot of trouble finding "real" amateurs and the other club dancers filled the gap. As long as they were cute, I did not care. I would much prefer to see an amateur contest with "cute professional dancers" as opposed to one with fat, ugly "real amateurs".

I have to agree that Papi's reviews are the most thorough. His attention to detail is second to none.

I tend to read reviews of any clubs I have ever visited. Like to keep up with them in case I am back in the area. If I am traveling to a different locale I will check those out to see if I should visit the clubs.

I would not be interested in a dance from her. Can't see why she would be rated number one.

I usually order a water, which lasts a long time. Got my fill of alcohol many years ago, will occasionally have one beer at a ball game or similar event. Like many others have said, the nude clubs without alcohol are much more pleasant environment. They don't have all the drunk guys stumbling over you or creating other unwanted distractions.

Although I haven't been there in many years, Tattletales was the club that popped into my head when I read your comment that Cheetah was out. Chandler and VBD probably have some more recent experience with Tattletales, so that seems like a good choice.

I was there for about 2 hours. I think all of the TUSCL members in attendance enjoyed themselves. While we are all there to get dances or VIPs, it is nice to swap strip club stories with others during the downtime. Anyone who is interested should plan to join us in "Shadowcat's corner" next time.

Art, good luck with your health issues. You and I are about the same age and I have been going to clubs regularly for many years. I have consumed a few beers in clubs, but usually just get a soda or bottle of water. I think you will find that your strip club experience will not get worse, and may even improve. I don't want to risk a DUI and most strip club roads are carefully watched by the police. Also I like to have a level head when deciding how to spend my money in a strip club. While the alcohol might improve the looks of a dancer, you may have buyer's remorse when you see the same girl in a sober situation.

Sorry to hear about Alucard. Sure, some of his posts were asking for trouble, but he was a loyal member and contributer to TUSCL. Glad to see the number of messages posted about his passing. I received one PM from him and it was very considerate. I think he enjoyed his time on TUSCL and enjoyed the dialogue. He will be missed.

My father, who is 96, was raised in NYC and an avid baseball fan. He was 21 at the time and attended that game. Several years ago while working in a mall, I met an elderly lady who had also attended that game. I suspect there are very few people alive today who actually went to that game. I, myself was lucky enough to have attended the Braves opening night game when Hank Aaron beat Babe Ruth's record. Kind of neat that we both were lucky enough to have attended such memorable baseball games.

I'll bet the judge will now agree to shut down the club for violence. Never heard of the club, but does not sound like a place anyone would look for. Have never seen any good reviews of Birmingham clubs. Better to go north to Huntsville or East to Atlanta.

I prefer petite dancers so answer is a definate yes. Most models are petite with small breasts. And I think most of them are very attractive to most men. In the clubs I visit, the cute girls will always generate the most interest fom customers, regardless of breast size.

Agree that Divas today are much more pleasant to look it than Fabulous Moolah and her cohorts in the 60's-70's. My favorite of the current Divas is the blonde, Summer Ray. I grew up watching Fred Blassie, Lou Thez, Von Brauners, Eddie Graham, etc. I still enjoy it, but think it was better in the old days with a lot less gimmicks. That being said, the Bray Wyatt gimmick is pretty creative. It will be interesting to see if they let him win over long time champ, John Cena. I have a friend who signed up for the WWE network and he invited me up to watch it tomorrow. He also said the WWE network streaming part does not work on the new smart TVs without a special adapter. At least not in HD, so anyone planning to watch it that way may be disappointed in the quality vs. Pay per View quality. He said the WWE told him they would have the situation fixed by Summer.

@RTP Although not with a porn star, I had the same thing happen with a stage dancer in Charleston,SC many years ago. She actually broke my wire rim glasses and I spent $300 to replace them. I will not let any of them take my glasses again.

I think she will be elected if she runs. While I would not have voted for her when she last ran, she would have been much better than the disaster of Obama. Hopefully she will take some advice from Bill who was able to work with both parties and move the country forward. The Republicans have almost zero chance of defeating whoever the Democrats run. Just way too many freeloaders who will continue to vote for the Democrats who want to give them more and more government handouts. As far as the clubs go, that will continue to be a state and local issue with no impact from the presidential election.

Interesting how the topic led to references of HBK, Bret Hart, and the Montreal screwjob. Wonder how many on here have any idea what that is all about. Not many, I suspect.

This reminds me of a small business I drive by on a main drag in Florence South Carolina when I see one of my customers. In large letters on top of the building it reads "Robert's Wholesale Body Parts". I did a double take the first time I drove by it. Always thought it would make an interesting read on Jay Leno show when they show quirky names of small town businesses.

I remember getting a dance from one in Tenn. She was very liberal, no limits on services offered.

Once I was in a club that is known for FS VIPs. Two of the dancers started a fight. When the bouncer broke it up one of the dancers said that the fight started when the other dancer called her a whore. Ironic since both girls were known to offer anything in VIP. I think dancers consider prostitution as something that only happens with street walkers.

I am single and most of my friends know. Surprisingly, my female friends want to know all the gory details. The male friends are mostly married and have little interest in my strip club activities. They have a casual interest, but not like the females. The only one I don't tell is my 96yr. old father. He is very religious and I see no reason to cause him any discomfort.

Glad it went well. While you recover, maybe some of the Follies girls could give you a little home health care.

My first reaction was a definite no. But the more I think about it, maybe. I am not totally sure that Obama would not have been elected EVEN if he was an admitted Athiest. The people that voted him in did so largely on his promise to keep the checks coming. Hard to see those who receive food stamps, welfare, medicaid, union members, teachers, trial lawyers, etc. voting for a Republican or Libertarian in a national election. I suspect they would not like his Athiesm, but would not want to see the money flow come to a halt. So, my answer would be yes, if he is running on the Democratic ticket.
