I was at Follies yesterday when a big raid took place. About 6-7 cops come in, go right to VIP. We (customers) all got held up in the club for about 4 hours while they were sorting everything out. From what I could tell it started off as just a dancer license thing but when they went to VIP they saw some stuff in there they didn't like. They started going through video---apparently Follies has installed some new cameras and the cops are now taking advantage of it to poke their nose into what is and isn't going on. Fortunately I was at the bar when all this happened but I did see two customers get handcuffed before I (and most others) were allowed to leave. Bad thing: I heard one cop saying they are going to go back all the video as far back as it is saved and try to identify any other illicit activities going on and who was involved.

That is NOT good news. Can't believe the pigs kept you there for 4 hours. I was there during the last one and the customers were allowed to leave within an hour.

I'm curious. If I'm sitting at the bar and the club is raided, can the cops legally detain me? I would ask if I'm under arrest, and when they say no, I ask if they have any legal reason to hold me. This is just BS.
Now, if you're in VIP with your dick out...probably not so good!

Happens to us all. :) Hope all is well at the doctors. I am heading out in a few for my first post-operative therapy session on my shoulder. Really looking forward to that. After the evaluation (torture) session yesterday, it hurt like a bitch the rest of the day.
